士17:1 以法莲山地有一个人名叫米迦。
士17:1 And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
士17:2 他对母亲说：“你那一千一百舍客勒银子被人拿去，你因此咒诅，并且告诉了我。看哪，这银子在我这里，是我拿去了。”他母亲说：“我儿啊，愿耶和华赐福与你！”
士17:2 And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son.
士17:3 米迦就把这一千一百舍客勒银子还他母亲。他母亲说：“我分出这银子来为你献给耶和华，好雕刻一个像，铸成一个像。现在我还是交给你。”
士17:3 And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.
士17:4 米迦将银子还他母亲，他母亲将二百舍客勒银子交给银匠，雕刻一个像，铸成一个像，安置在米迦的屋内。
士17:4 Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.
士17:5 这米迦有了 神堂，又制造以弗得和家中的神像，分派他一个儿子作祭司。
士17:5 And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
士17:6 那时，以色列中没有王，各人任意而行。
士17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
士17:7 犹大伯利恒有一个少年人，是犹大族的利未人，他在那里寄居。
士17:7 And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
士17:8 这人离开犹大伯利恒城，要找一个可住的地方。行路的时候，到了以法莲山地，走到米迦的家。
士17:8 And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
士17:9 米迦问他说：“你从哪里来？”他回答说：“从犹大伯利恒来。我是利未人，要找一个可住的地方。”
士17:9 And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.
士17:10 米迦说：“你可以住在我这里，我以你为父为祭司。我每年给你十舍客勒银子，一套衣服和度日的食物。”利未人就进了他的家。
士17:10 And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.
士17:11 利未人情愿与那人同住，那人看这少年人如自己的儿子一样。
士17:11 And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.
士17:12 米迦分派这少年的利未人作祭司，他就住在米迦的家里。
士17:12 And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
士17:13 米迦说：“现在我知道耶和华必赐福与我，因我有一个利未人作祭司。”
士17:13 Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.
