箴16:1 心中的谋算在乎人；舌头的应对由于耶和华。
箴16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
箴16:2 人一切所行的，在自己眼中看为清洁，惟有耶和华衡量人心。
箴16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
箴16:3 你所做的，要交托耶和华，你所谋的，就必成立。
箴16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
箴16:4 耶和华所造的，各适其用，就是恶人，也为祸患的日子所造。
箴16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
箴16:5 凡心里骄傲的，为耶和华所憎恶，虽然连手，他必不免受罚。
箴16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
箴16:6 因怜悯诚实，罪孽得赎；敬畏耶和华的，远离恶事。
箴16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
箴16:7 人所行的，若蒙耶和华喜悦，耶和华也使他的仇敌与他和好。
箴16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
箴16:8 多有财利，行事不义，不如少有财利，行事公义。
箴16:8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
箴16:9 人心筹算自己的道路，惟耶和华指引他的脚步。
箴16:9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
箴16:10 王的嘴中有 神语，审判之时，他的口必不差错。
箴16:10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
箴16:11 公道的天平和秤都属耶和华；囊中一切法码都为他所定。
箴16:11 A just weight and balance are the LORD's: all the weights of the bag are his work.
箴16:12 作恶，为王所憎恶，因国位是靠公义坚立。
箴16:12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
箴16:13 公义的嘴，为王所喜悦；说正直话的，为王所喜爱。
箴16:13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
箴16:14 王的震怒如杀人的使者，但智慧人能止息王怒。
箴16:14 The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.
箴16:15 王的脸光使人有生命；王的恩典好像春云时雨。
箴16:15 In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
箴16:16 得智慧胜似得金子；选聪明强如选银子。
箴16:16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
箴16:17 正直人的道，是远离恶事；谨守己路的，是保全性命。
箴16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
箴16:18 骄傲在败坏以先；狂心在跌倒之前。
箴16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
箴16:19 心里谦卑与穷乏人来往，强如将掳物与骄傲人同分。
箴16:19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
箴16:20 谨守训言的，必得好处；倚靠耶和华的，便为有福！
箴16:20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.
箴16:21 心中有智慧，必称为通达人；嘴中的甜言，加增人的学问。
箴16:21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
箴16:22 人有智慧就有生命的泉源；愚昧人必被愚昧惩治。
箴16:22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
箴16:23 智慧人的心教训他的口，又使他的嘴增长学问。
箴16:23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
箴16:24 良言如同蜂房，使心觉甘甜，使骨得医治。
箴16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
箴16:25 有一条路，人以为正，至终成为死亡之路。
箴16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
箴16:26 劳力人的胃口，使他劳力，因为他的口腹催逼他。
箴16:26 He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.
箴16:27 匪徒图谋奸恶，嘴上仿佛有烧焦的火。
箴16:27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
箴16:28 乖僻人播散纷争；传舌的离间密友。
箴16:28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
箴16:29 强暴人诱惑邻舍，领他走不善之道。
箴16:29 A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
箴16:30 眼目紧合的，图谋乖僻；嘴唇紧闭的，成就邪恶。
箴16:30 He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
箴16:31 白发是荣耀的冠冕，在公义的道上，必能得着。
箴16:31 The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.
箴16:32 不轻易发怒的，胜过勇士；治服己心的，强如取城。
箴16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
箴16:33 签放在怀里，定事由耶和华。
箴16:33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.
