和 创20:1 亚伯拉罕从那里向南地迁去，寄居在加低斯和书珥中间的基拉耳。
K 创20:1 And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.
N 创20:1 Now Abraham moved on from there into the region of the Negev and lived between Kadesh and Shur. For a while he stayed in Gerar,
和 创20:2 亚伯拉罕称他的妻撒拉为妹子。基拉耳王亚比米勒差人把撒拉取了去。
K 创20:2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.
N 创20:2 and there Abraham said of his wife Sarah, "She is my sister." Then Abimelech king of Gerar sent for Sarah and took her.
和 创20:3 但夜间， 神来在梦中对亚比米勒说：“你是个死人哪！因为你取了那女人来，她原是别人的妻子。”
K 创20:3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.
N 创20:3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream one night and said to him, "You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman."
和 创20:4 亚比米勒却还没有亲近撒拉。他说：“主啊，连有义的国你也要毁灭吗？
K 创20:4 But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, LORD, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?
N 创20:4 Now Abimelech had not gone near her, so he said, "Lord, will you destroy an innocent nation?
和 创20:5 那人岂不是自己对我说‘她是我的妹子’吗？就是女人也自己说：‘他是我的哥哥。’我作这事是心正手洁的。”
K 创20:5 Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.
N 创20:5 Did he not say to me, 'She is my sister,' and didn't she also say, 'He is my brother'? I have done this with a clear conscience and clean hands."
和 创20:6 神在梦中对他说：“我知道你作这事是心中正直，我也拦阻了你，免得你得罪我，所以我不容你沾着她。
K 创20:6 And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
N 创20:6 Then God said to him in the dream, "Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me. That is why I did not let you touch her.
和 创20:7 现在你把这人的妻子归还他，因为他是先知，他要为你祷告，使你存活。你若不归还他，你当知道，你和你所有的人都必要死。”
K 创20:7 Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.
N 创20:7 Now return the man's wife, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you will live. But if you do not return her, you may be sure that you and all yours will die."
和 创20:8 亚比米勒清早起来，召了众臣仆来，将这些事都说给他们听，他们都甚惧怕。
K 创20:8 Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore afraid.
N 创20:8 Early the next morning Abimelech summoned all his officials, and when he told them all that had happened, they were very much afraid.
和 创20:9 亚比米勒召了亚伯拉罕来，对他说：“你怎么向我这样行呢？我在什么事上得罪了你，你竟使我和我国里的人陷在大罪里？你向我行不当行的事了！”
K 创20:9 Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.
N 创20:9 Then Abimelech called Abraham in and said, "What have you done to us? How have I wronged you that you have brought such great guilt upon me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that should not be done."
和 创20:10 亚比米勒又对亚伯拉罕说：“你见了什么才作这事呢？”
K 创20:10 And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?
N 创20:10 And Abimelech asked Abraham, "What was your reason for doing this?"
和 创20:11 亚伯拉罕说：“我以为这地方的人总不惧怕 神，必为我妻子的缘故杀我。
K 创20:11 And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake.
N 创20:11 Abraham replied, "I said to myself, 'There is surely no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.'
和 创20:12 况且她也实在是我的妹子，她与我是同父异母，后来作了我的妻子。
K 创20:12 And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.
N 创20:12 Besides, she really is my sister, the daughter of my father though not of my mother; and she became my wife.
和 创20:13 当 神叫我离开父家飘流在外的时候，我对她说：‘我们无论走到什么地方，你可以对人说：他是我的哥哥；这就是你待我的恩典了。’”
K 创20:13 And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother.
N 创20:13 And when God had me wander from my father's household, I said to her, 'This is how you can show your love to me: Everywhere we go, say of me, "He is my brother." '"
和 创20:14 亚比米勒把牛羊、仆婢赐给亚伯拉罕，又把他的妻子撒拉归还他。
K 创20:14 And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.
N 创20:14 Then Abimelech brought sheep and cattle and male and female slaves and gave them to Abraham, and he returned Sarah his wife to him.
和 创20:15 亚比米勒又说：“看哪！我的地都在你面前，你可以随意居住。”
K 创20:15 And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee.
N 创20:15 And Abimelech said, "My land is before you; live wherever you like."
和 创20:16 又对撒拉说：“我给你哥哥一千银子，作为你在合家人面前遮羞的（“羞”原文作“眼”），你就在众人面前没有不是了。”
K 创20:16 And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved.
N 创20:16 To Sarah he said, "I am giving your brother a thousand shekels of silver. This is to cover the offense against you before all who are with you; you are completely vindicated."
和 创20:17 亚伯拉罕祷告 神， 神就医好了亚比米勒和他的妻子，并他的众女仆，她们便能生育。
K 创20:17 So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.
N 创20:17 Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, his wife and his slave girls so they could have children again,
和 创20:18 因耶和华为亚伯拉罕的妻子撒拉的缘故，已经使亚比米勒家中的妇人不能生育。
K 创20:18 For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife.
N 创20:18 for the LORD had closed up every womb in Abimelech's household because of Abraham's wife Sarah.
