和 创33:1 雅各举目观看，见以扫来了，后头跟着四百人，他就把孩子们分开交给利亚、拉结和两个使女，
K 创33:1 And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids.
N 创33:1 Jacob looked up and there was Esau, coming with his four hundred men; so he divided the children among Leah, Rachel and the two maidservants.
和 创33:2 并且叫两个使女和她们的孩子在前头，利亚和她的孩子在后头，拉结和约瑟在尽后头。
K 创33:2 And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost.
N 创33:2 He put the maidservants and their children in front, Leah and her children next, and Rachel and Joseph in the rear.
和 创33:3 他自己在他们前头过去，一连七次俯伏在地，才就近他哥哥。
K 创33:3 And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.
N 创33:3 He himself went on ahead and bowed down to the ground seven times as he approached his brother.
和 创33:4 以扫跑来迎接他，将他抱住，又搂着他的颈项与他亲嘴，两个人就哭了。
K 创33:4 And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.
N 创33:4 But Esau ran to meet Jacob and embraced him; he threw his arms around his neck and kissed him. And they wept.
和 创33:5 以扫举目看见妇人孩子，就说：“这些和你同行的是谁呢？”雅各说：“这些孩子是 神施恩给你仆人的。”
K 创33:5 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.
N 创33:5 Then Esau looked up and saw the women and children. "Who are these with you?" he asked. Jacob answered, "They are the children God has graciously given your servant."
和 创33:6 于是两个使女和她们的孩子前来下拜；
K 创33:6 Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves.
N 创33:6 Then the maidservants and their children approached and bowed down.
和 创33:7 利亚和她的孩子也前来下拜；随后约瑟和拉结也前来下拜。
K 创33:7 And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves.
N 创33:7 Next, Leah and her children came and bowed down. Last of all came Joseph and Rachel, and they too bowed down.
和 创33:8 以扫说：“我所遇见的这些群畜是什么意思呢？”雅各说：“是要在我主面前蒙恩的。”
K 创33:8 And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
N 创33:8 Esau asked, "What do you mean by all these droves I met?" "To find favor in your eyes, my lord," he said.
和 创33:9 以扫说：“兄弟啊，我的已经够了，你的仍归你吧！”
K 创33:9 And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.
N 创33:9 But Esau said, "I already have plenty, my brother. Keep what you have for yourself."
和 创33:10 雅各说：“不然，我若在你眼前蒙恩，就求你从我手里收下这礼物，因为我见了你的面，如同见了 神的面，并且你容纳了我。
K 创33:10 And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.
N 创33:10 "No, please!" said Jacob. "If I have found favor in your eyes, accept this gift from me. For to see your face is like seeing the face of God, now that you have received me favorably.
和 创33:11 求你收下我带来给你的礼物，因为 神恩待我，使我充足。”雅各再三地求他，他才收下了。
K 创33:11 Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.
N 创33:11 Please accept the present that was brought to you, for God has been gracious to me and I have all I need." And because Jacob insisted, Esau accepted it.
和 创33:12 以扫说：“我们可以起身前往，我在你前头走。”
K 创33:12 And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.
N 创33:12 Then Esau said, "Let us be on our way; I'll accompany you."
和 创33:13 雅各对他说：“我主知道孩子们年幼娇嫩，牛羊也正在乳养的时候，若是催赶一天，群畜都必死了。
K 创33:13 And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
N 创33:13 But Jacob said to him, "My lord knows that the children are tender and that I must care for the ewes and cows that are nursing their young. If they are driven hard just one day, all the animals will die.
和 创33:14 求我主在仆人前头走，我要量着在我面前群畜和孩子的力量慢慢地前行，直走到西珥我主那里。”
K 创33:14 Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.
N 创33:14 So let my lord go on ahead of his servant, while I move along slowly at the pace of the droves before me and that of the children, until I come to my lord in Seir."
和 创33:15 以扫说：“容我把跟随我的人留几个在你这里。”雅各说：“何必呢？只要在我主眼前蒙恩就是了。”
K 创33:15 And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.
N 创33:15 Esau said, "Then let me leave some of my men with you." "But why do that?" Jacob asked. "Just let me find favor in the eyes of my lord."
和 创33:16 于是以扫当日起行，回往西珥去了。
K 创33:16 So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir.
N 创33:16 So that day Esau started on his way back to Seir.
和 创33:17 雅各就往疏割去，在那里为自己盖造房屋，又为牲畜搭棚；因此那地方名叫疏割（就是“棚”的意思）。
K 创33:17 And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.
N 创33:17 Jacob, however, went to Succoth, where he built a place for himself and made shelters for his livestock. That is why the place is called Succoth.
和 创33:18 雅各从巴旦亚兰回来的时候，平平安安地到了迦南地的示剑城，在城东支搭帐棚，
K 创33:18 And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the city.
N 创33:18 After Jacob came from Paddan Aram, he arrived safely at the city of Shechem in Canaan and camped within sight of the city.
和 创33:19 就用一百块银子向示剑的父亲、哈抹的子孙买了支帐棚的那块地，
K 创33:19 And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.
N 创33:19 For a hundred pieces of silver, he bought from the sons of Hamor, the father of Shechem, the plot of ground where he pitched his tent.
和 创33:20 在那里筑了一座坛，起名叫伊利伊罗伊以色列（就是“ 神、以色列 神”的意思）。
K 创33:20 And he erected there an altar, and called it EleloheIsrael.
N 创33:20 There he set up an altar and called it El Elohe Israel.
