和 约叁1:6 他们在教会面前证明了你的爱。你若配得过 神，帮助他们往前行，这就好了，
K 约叁1:6 Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:
N 约叁1:6 They have told the church about your love. You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God.

K 约叁1:7 Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.

N 约叁1:9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will have nothing to do with us.
和 约叁1:10 所以我若去，必要提说他所行的事，就是他用恶言妄论我们。还不以此为足，他自己不接待弟兄，有人愿意接待，他也禁止，并且将接待弟兄的人赶出教会。
K 约叁1:10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
N 约叁1:10 So if I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, gossiping maliciously about us. Not satisfied with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church.
和 约叁1:11 亲爱的兄弟啊，不要效法恶，只要效法善。行善的属乎 神，行恶的未曾见过 神。
K 约叁1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
N 约叁1:11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
和 约叁1:12 低米丢行善，有众人给他作见证，又有真理给他作见证，就是我们也给他作见证。你也知道我们的见证是真的。
K 约叁1:12 Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
N 约叁1:12 Demetrius is well spoken of by everyone--and even by the truth itself. We also speak well of him, and you know that our testimony is true.
和 约叁1:13 我原有许多事要写给你，却不愿意用笔墨写给你，
K 约叁1:13 I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto thee:
N 约叁1:13 I have much to write you, but I do not want to do so with pen and ink.
和 约叁1:14 但盼望快快地见你，我们就当面谈论。
K 约叁1:14 But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.
