创30:1 拉结见自己没有给雅各生孩子，就嫉妒她的姊姊，对雅各说：“你要给我儿子，不然，我要死了。”
创30:1 Now Rachel, because she had no children, was full of envy of her sister; and she said to Jacob, If you do not give me children I will not go on living.
创30:2 雅各就向拉结生气，说：“使你不能生育的是 神，我能代替他吗？”
创30:2 But Jacob was angry with Rachel, and said, Am I in the place of God, who has kept your body from having fruit?
创30:3 拉结说：“我的婢女辟拉在这里，你可以与她亲近，使她生子归我，我就可以从她得到孩子。”
创30:3 Then she said, Here is my servant Bilhah, go in to her, so that she may have a child on my knees, and I may have a family by her.
创30:4 于是，拉结把自己的婢女辟拉给了雅各为妾，雅各就与她亲近。
创30:4 So she gave him her servant Bilhah as a wife, and Jacob went in to her.
创30:5 辟拉怀孕，给雅各生了一个儿子。
创30:5 And Bilhah became with child, and gave birth to a son.
创30:6 拉结说：“ 神为我伸了冤，也垂听了我的声音，赐给我一个儿子。”所以给他起名叫但。
创30:6 Then Rachel said, God has been my judge, and has given ear to my voice, and has given me a son; so he was named Dan.
创30:7 拉结的使女辟拉又怀孕，给雅各生了第二个儿子。
创30:7 And again Bilhah, Rachel's servant, was with child, and gave birth to a second son.
创30:8 拉结说：“我与姊姊大大地相争，我得胜了。”于是给孩子起名叫拿弗他利。
创30:8 And Rachel said, I have had a great fight with my sister, and I have overcome her: and she gave the child the name Naphtali.
创30:9 利亚见自己停止生育，就把她的婢女悉帕给了雅各为妾。
创30:9 When it was clear to Leah that she would have no more children for a time, she gave Zilpah, her servant, to Jacob as a wife.
创30:10 利亚的婢女悉帕给雅各生了一个儿子。
创30:10 And Zilpah, Leah's servant, gave birth to a son.
创30:11 利亚说：“我真幸运。”给他起名叫迦得。
创30:11 And Leah said, It has gone well for me: and she gave him the name Gad.
创30:12 利亚的婢女悉帕又给雅各生了第二个儿子。
创30:12 And Zilpah, Leah's servant, gave birth to a second son.
创30:13 利亚说：“我真有福气，众女子都要称我是有福的。”于是给孩子起名叫亚设。
创30:13 And Leah said, Happy am I! and all women will give witness to my joy: and she gave him the name Asher.
创30:14 到了收割麦子的时候，流本出去，在田间找到了一些风茄，就拿来给他母亲利亚。拉结对利亚说：“请你把你儿子的风茄分一些给我。”
创30:14 Now at the time of the grain-cutting, Reuben saw some love-fruits in the field, and took them to his mother Leah. And Rachel said to her, Let me have some of your son's love-fruits.
创30:15 利亚回答拉结：“你夺去了我的丈夫，还算小事吗？你还要夺去我儿子的风茄吗？”拉结说：“好吧，今夜就让他与你同睡，来交换你儿子的风茄。”
创30:15 But Leah said to her, Is it a small thing that you have taken my husband from me? and now would you take my son's love-fruits? Then Rachel said, You may have him tonight in exchange for your son's love-fruits.
创30:16 到了晚上，雅各从田间回来，利亚出去迎接他，说：“你要与我亲近，因为我实在用我儿子的风茄把你雇下了。”那一夜，雅各就与利亚同睡。
创30:16 In the evening, when Jacob came in from the field, Leah went out to him and said, Tonight you are to come to me, for I have given my son's love-fruits as a price for you. And he went in to her that night.
创30:17 神垂听了利亚的祷告，利亚就怀孕，给雅各生了第五个儿子。
创30:17 And God gave ear to her and she became with child, and gave Jacob a fifth son.
创30:18 利亚说：“ 神给了我酬报，因为我把我的婢女给了我的丈夫。”于是给孩子起名叫以萨迦。
创30:18 Then Leah said, God has made payment to me for giving my servant-girl to my husband: so she gave her son the name Issachar.
创30:19 利亚又怀孕，给雅各生了第六个儿子。
创30:19 And again Leah became with child, and she gave Jacob a sixth son.
创30:20 利亚说：“ 神把美好的礼物送了给我，这一次我的丈夫要抬举我了，因为我给他生了六个儿子。”于是给孩子起名叫西布伦。
创30:20 And she said, God has given me a good bride-price; now at last will I have my husband living with me, for I have given him six sons: and she gave him the name Zebulun.
创30:21 后来利亚又生了一个女儿，给她起名叫底拿。
创30:21 After that she had a daughter, to whom she gave the name Dinah.
创30:22 神顾念拉结，垂听了她的祷告，使她能生育。
创30:22 Then God gave thought to Rachel, and hearing her prayer he made her fertile.
创30:23 拉结就怀孕，生了一个儿子，说：“ 神把我的耻辱除去了。”
创30:23 And she was with child, and gave birth to a son: and she said, God has taken away my shame.
创30:24 于是给孩子起名叫约瑟，说：“愿耶和华再给我一个儿子。”
创30:24 And she gave him the name Joseph, saying, May the Lord give me another son.
创30:25 拉结生了约瑟以后，雅各对拉班说：“请你让我走吧，我好回到自己的地方，自己的故乡去。
创30:25 Now after the birth of Joseph, Jacob said to Laban, Let me go away to my place and my country.
创30:26 请你把我服事你所得的妻子和儿女都给我，让我回去；我怎样服事了你，你是知道的。”
创30:26 Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have been your servant, and let me go: for you have knowledge of all the work I have done for you.
创30:27 拉班对他说：“我若蒙你赏脸，请你不要走，因为我得了神旨，知道耶和华赐福给我，是因你的缘故。”
创30:27 And Laban said, If you will let me say so, do not go away; for I have seen by the signs that the Lord has been good to me because of you.
创30:28 他又说：“请你定你的工资吧，我必给你。”
创30:28 Say then what your payment is to be and I will give it.
创30:29 雅各对拉班说：“我怎样服事了你，你的牲畜在我手里情形怎样，你是知道的。
创30:29 Then Jacob said, You have seen what I have done for you, and how your cattle have done well under my care.
创30:30 我没来以前，你所有的很少，现在却大大地增加了；耶和华随着我的脚踪赐福给你。现在，我什么时候才能兴家立业呢？”
创30:30 For before I came you had little, and it has been greatly increased; and the Lord has given you a blessing in everything I have done; but when am I to do something for my family?
创30:31 拉班问：“我该给你什么？”雅各回答：“你什么也不必给我；只要你答应我这一件事，我就继续牧放看守你的羊群。
创30:31 And Laban said, What am I to give you? And Jacob said, Do not give me anything; but I will again take up the care of your flock if you will only do this for me:
创30:32 今天我要走遍你的羊群，凡有斑点的羊、黑色的绵羊和有斑点的山羊，都挑出来，作为我的工资。
创30:32 Let me go through all your flock today, taking out from among them all the sheep which are marked or coloured or black, and all the marked or coloured goats: these will be my payment.
创30:33 日后你来查看我的工资的时候，我好对你证明我的公道。凡在我手里没有斑点的山羊，或不是黑色的绵羊，都算是我偷来的。”
创30:33 And so you will be able to put my honour to the test in time to come; if you see among my flocks any goats which are not marked or coloured, or any sheep which is not black, you may take me for a thief.
创30:34 拉班回答：“好吧，就照你的话去作。”
创30:34 And Laban said, Let it be as you say.
创30:35 当日，拉班把有条纹和有斑点的公山羊、有斑点和有白纹的母山羊，以及所有黑色的绵羊，都挑出来交在自己的众子手里。
创30:35 So that day he took all the he-goats which were banded or coloured, and all the she-goats which were marked or coloured or had white marks, and all the black sheep, and gave them into the care of his sons;
创30:36 又使自己和雅各之间相距有三天的路程。雅各就牧放拉班其余的羊群。
创30:36 And sent them three days' journey away: and Jacob took care of the rest of Laban's flock.
创30:37 雅各拿杨树、杏树和枫树的嫩枝子，把树皮剥成白色的条纹，使枝子露出白的部分来。
创30:37 Then Jacob took young branches of trees, cutting off the skin so that the white wood was seen in bands.
创30:38 然后把剥了皮的枝子插在水沟和水槽里，枝子正对着来喝水的羊群。羊群来喝水的时候，就彼此交配。
创30:38 And he put the banded sticks in the drinking-places where the flock came to get water; and they became with young when they came to the water.
创30:39 羊群对着枝子交配，就生下有条纹和有斑点的小羊来。
创30:39 And because of this, the flock gave birth to young which were marked with bands of colour.
创30:40 雅各把羊羔分别出来，使拉班的羊，对着这些有条纹的和所有黑色的羊。他为自己另组羊群，不把牠们放在拉班的羊群中。
创30:40 These lambs Jacob kept separate; and he put his flock in a place by themselves and not with Laban's flock.
创30:41 到了肥壮的羊群要交配的时候，雅各就在羊群的面前把枝子插在水沟里，使牠们在枝子中间彼此交配。
创30:41 And whenever the stronger ones of the flock became with young, Jacob put the sticks in front of them in the drinking-places, so that they might become with young when they saw the sticks.
创30:42 但当瘦弱的羊群交配的时候，雅各就不插枝子。这样，瘦弱的就归拉班，肥壮的就归雅各。
创30:42 But when the flocks were feeble, he did not put the sticks before them; so that the feebler flocks were Laban's and the stronger were Jacob's.
创30:43 于是，雅各变成非常富有，拥有很多羊群、仆婢、骆驼和驴。
创30:43 So Jacob's wealth was greatly increased; he had great flocks and women-servants and men-servants and camels and asses.
