和 摩7:1 主耶和华指示我一件事：为王割菜之后（“菜”或作“草”），菜又发生，刚发生的时候，主造蝗虫。
K 摩7:1 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings.
N 摩7:1 This is what the Sovereign LORD showed me: He was preparing swarms of locusts after the king's share had been harvested and just as the second crop was coming up.
和 摩7:2 蝗虫吃尽那地的青物，我就说：“主耶和华啊，求你赦免！因为雅各微弱，他怎能站立得住呢？”
K 摩7:2 And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
N 摩7:2 When they had stripped the land clean, I cried out, "Sovereign LORD, forgive! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!"
和 摩7:3 耶和华就后悔说：“这灾可以免了。”
K 摩7:3 The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.
N 摩7:3 So the LORD relented. "This will not happen," the LORD said.
和 摩7:4 主耶和华又指示我一件事：他命火来惩罚以色列，火就吞灭深渊，险些将地烧灭。
K 摩7:4 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.
N 摩7:4 This is what the Sovereign LORD showed me: The Sovereign LORD was calling for judgment by fire; it dried up the great deep and devoured the land.
和 摩7:5 我就说：“主耶和华啊，求你止息！因为雅各微弱，他怎能站立得住呢？”
K 摩7:5 Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
N 摩7:5 Then I cried out, "Sovereign LORD, I beg you, stop! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!"
和 摩7:6 耶和华就后悔说：“这灾也可免了。”
K 摩7:6 The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.
N 摩7:6 So the LORD relented. "This will not happen either," the Sovereign LORD said.
和 摩7:7 他又指示我一件事：有一道墙是按准绳建筑的，主手拿准绳站在其上。
K 摩7:7 Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.
N 摩7:7 This is what he showed me: The Lord was standing by a wall that had been built true to plumb, with a plumb line in his hand.
和 摩7:8 耶和华对我说：“阿摩司啊，你看见什么？”我说：“看见准绳。”主说：“我要吊起准绳在我民以色列中，我必不再宽恕他们。
K 摩7:8 And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:
N 摩7:8 And the LORD asked me, "What do you see, Amos?" "A plumb line," I replied. Then the Lord said, "Look, I am setting a plumb line among my people Israel; I will spare them no longer.
和 摩7:9 以撒的邱坛必然凄凉，以色列的圣所必然荒废。我必兴起，用刀攻击耶罗波安的家。”
K 摩7:9 And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
N 摩7:9 "The high places of Isaac will be destroyed and the sanctuaries of Israel will be ruined; with my sword I will rise against the house of Jeroboam."
和 摩7:10 伯特利的祭司亚玛谢，打发人到以色列王耶罗波安那里说：“阿摩司在以色列家中图谋背叛你；他所说的一切话，这国担当不起。
K 摩7:10 Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
N 摩7:10 Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent a message to Jeroboam king of Israel: "Amos is raising a conspiracy against you in the very heart of Israel. The land cannot bear all his words.
和 摩7:11 因为阿摩司如此说：‘耶罗波安必被刀杀，以色列民定被掳去离开本地。’”
K 摩7:11 For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
N 摩7:11 For this is what Amos is saying: "'Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel will surely go into exile, away from their native land.'"
和 摩7:12 亚玛谢又对阿摩司说：“你这先见哪，要逃往犹大地去，在那里糊口，在那里说预言，
K 摩7:12 Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
N 摩7:12 Then Amaziah said to Amos, "Get out, you seer! Go back to the land of Judah. Earn your bread there and do your prophesying there.
和 摩7:13 却不要在伯特利再说预言，因为这里有王的圣所，有王的宫殿。”
K 摩7:13 But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court.
N 摩7:13 Don't prophesy anymore at Bethel, because this is the king's sanctuary and the temple of the kingdom."
和 摩7:14 阿摩司对亚玛谢说：“我原不是先知，也不是先知的门徒（原文作“儿子”）；我是牧人，又是修理桑树的。
K 摩7:14 Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
N 摩7:14 Amos answered Amaziah, "I was neither a prophet nor a prophet's son, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees.
和 摩7:15 耶和华选召我，使我不跟从羊群，对我说：‘你去向我民以色列说预言。’
K 摩7:15 And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
N 摩7:15 But the LORD took me from tending the flock and said to me, 'Go, prophesy to my people Israel.'
和 摩7:16 亚玛谢啊，现在你要听耶和华的话。你说：‘不要向以色列说预言，也不要向以撒家滴下预言。’
K 摩7:16 Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
N 摩7:16 Now then, hear the word of the LORD. You say, "'Do not prophesy against Israel, and stop preaching against the house of Isaac.'
和 摩7:17 所以耶和华如此说：‘你的妻子必在城中作妓女，你的儿女必倒在刀下；你的地必有人用绳子量了分取，你自己必死在污秽之地。以色列民定被掳去离开本地。’”
K 摩7:17 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.
N 摩7:17 "Therefore this is what the LORD says: "'Your wife will become a prostitute in the city, and your sons and daughters will fall by the sword. Your land will be measured and divided up, and you yourself will die in a pagan country. And Israel will certainly go into exile, away from their native land.'"
