和 民17:1 耶和华对摩西说：
K 民17:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
N 民17:1 The LORD said to Moses,
和 民17:2 “你晓谕以色列人，从他们手下取杖，每支派一根。从他们所有的首领，按着支派，共取十二根；你要将各人的名字写在各人的杖上，
K 民17:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod.
N 民17:2 "Speak to the Israelites and get twelve staffs from them, one from the leader of each of their ancestral tribes. Write the name of each man on his staff.
和 民17:3 并要将亚伦的名字写在利未的杖上，因为各族长必有一根杖。
K 民17:3 And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
N 民17:3 On the staff of Levi write Aaron's name, for there must be one staff for the head of each ancestral tribe.
和 民17:4 你要把这些杖存在会幕内法柜前，就是我与你们相会之处。
K 民17:4 And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
N 民17:4 Place them in the Tent of Meeting in front of the Testimony, where I meet with you.
和 民17:5 后来我所拣选的那人，他的杖必发芽。这样，我必使以色列人向你们所发的怨言止息，不再达到我耳中。”
K 民17:5 And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.
N 民17:5 The staff belonging to the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid myself of this constant grumbling against you by the Israelites."
和 民17:6 于是摩西晓谕以色列人，他们的首领就把杖交给他，按着支派每首领一根，共有十二根；亚伦的杖也在其中。
K 民17:6 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.
N 民17:6 So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and their leaders gave him twelve staffs, one for the leader of each of their ancestral tribes, and Aaron's staff was among them.
和 民17:7 摩西就把杖存在法柜的帐幕内，在耶和华面前。
K 民17:7 And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.
N 民17:7 Moses placed the staffs before the LORD in the Tent of the Testimony.
和 民17:8 第二天，摩西进法柜的帐幕去。谁知，利未族亚伦的杖已经发了芽，生了花苞，开了花，结了熟杏。
K 民17:8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
N 民17:8 The next day Moses entered the Tent of the Testimony and saw that Aaron's staff, which represented the house of Levi, had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds.
和 民17:9 摩西就把所有的杖从耶和华面前拿出来，给以色列众人看，他们看见了，各首领就把自己的杖拿去。
K 民17:9 And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.
N 民17:9 Then Moses brought out all the staffs from the LORD'S presence to all the Israelites. They looked at them, and each man took his own staff.
和 民17:10 耶和华吩咐摩西说：“把亚伦的杖还放在法柜前，给这些背叛之子留作记号。这样，你就使他们向我发的怨言止息，免得他们死亡。”
K 民17:10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
N 民17:10 The LORD said to Moses, "Put back Aaron's staff in front of the Testimony, to be kept as a sign to the rebellious. This will put an end to their grumbling against me, so that they will not die."
和 民17:11 摩西就这样行。耶和华怎样吩咐他，他就怎样行了。
K 民17:11 And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.
N 民17:11 Moses did just as the LORD commanded him.
和 民17:12 以色列人对摩西说：“我们死啦！我们灭亡啦！都灭亡啦！
K 民17:12 And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.
N 民17:12 The Israelites said to Moses, "We will die! We are lost, we are all lost!
和 民17:13 凡挨近耶和华帐幕的是必死的，我们都要死亡吗？”
K 民17:13 Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
N 民17:13 Anyone who even comes near the tabernacle of the LORD will die. Are we all going to die?"
