箴言第4章

 箴4:1 众子啊,要听父亲的教训,留心得知聪明。

K 箴4:1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

N 箴4:1 Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.

 箴4:2 因我所给你们的是好教训,不可离弃我的法则(或作“指教”)。

K 箴4:2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.

N 箴4:2 I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching.

 箴4:3 我在父亲面前为孝子,在母亲眼中为独一的娇儿。

K 箴4:3 For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.

N 箴4:3 When I was a boy in my father's house, still tender, and an only child of my mother,

 箴4:4 父亲教训我说:“你心要存记我的言语,遵守我的命令,便得存活。

K 箴4:4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.

N 箴4:4 he taught me and said, "Lay hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands and you will live.

 箴4:5 要得智慧,要得聪明,不可忘记,也不可偏离我口中的言语。

K 箴4:5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

N 箴4:5 Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them.

 箴4:6 不可离弃智慧,智慧就护卫你;要爱他,他就保守你。

K 箴4:6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.

N 箴4:6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.

 箴4:7 智慧为首,所以要得智慧,在你一切所得之内必得聪明(或作“用你一切所得的去换聪明”)。

K 箴4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

N 箴4:7 Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

 箴4:8 高举智慧,他就使你高升;怀抱智慧,他就使你尊荣。

K 箴4:8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.

N 箴4:8 Esteem her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.

 箴4:9 他必将华冠加在你头上,把荣冕交给你。”

K 箴4:9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

N 箴4:9 She will set a garland of grace on your head and present you with a crown of splendor."

 箴4:10 我儿,你要听受我的言语,就必延年益寿。

K 箴4:10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.

N 箴4:10 Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.

 箴4:11 我已指教你走智慧的道,引导你行正直的路。

K 箴4:11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.

N 箴4:11 I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.

 箴4:12 你行走,脚步必不至狭窄;你奔跑,也不至跌倒。

K 箴4:12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.

N 箴4:12 When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.

 箴4:13 要持定训诲,不可放松;必当谨守,因为她是你的生命。

K 箴4:13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

N 箴4:13 Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.

 箴4:14 不可行恶人的路,不要走坏人的道。

K 箴4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

N 箴4:14 Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men.

 箴4:15 要躲避,不可经过,要转身而去。

K 箴4:15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

N 箴4:15 Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way.

 箴4:16 这等人若不行恶,不得睡觉;不使人跌倒,睡卧不安。

K 箴4:16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.

N 箴4:16 For they cannot sleep till they do evil; they are robbed of slumber till they make someone fall.

 箴4:17 因为他们以奸恶吃饼,以强暴喝酒。

K 箴4:17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.

N 箴4:17 They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.

 箴4:18 但义人的路好像黎明的光,越照越明,直到日午。

K 箴4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

N 箴4:18 The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.

 箴4:19 恶人的道好像幽暗,自己不知因什么跌倒。

K 箴4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

N 箴4:19 But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.

 箴4:20 我儿,要留心听我的言词,侧耳听我的话语。

K 箴4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

N 箴4:20 My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words.

 箴4:21 都不可离你的眼目,要存记在你心中。

K 箴4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

N 箴4:21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart;

 箴4:22 因为得着它的,就得了生命,又得了医全体的良药。

K 箴4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

N 箴4:22 for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body.

 箴4:23 你要保守你心,胜过保守一切(或作“你要切切保守你心”),因为一生的果效,是由心发出。

K 箴4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

N 箴4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.

 箴4:24 你要除掉邪僻的口,弃绝乖谬的嘴。

K 箴4:24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

N 箴4:24 Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.

 箴4:25 你的眼目要向前正看,你的眼睛(原文作“皮”)当向前直观。

K 箴4:25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

N 箴4:25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.

 箴4:26 要修平你脚下的路,坚定你一切的道,

K 箴4:26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

N 箴4:26 Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm.

 箴4:27 不可偏向左右,要使你的脚离开邪恶。

K 箴4:27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

N 箴4:27 Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
