箴言第30章

 箴30:1 雅基的儿子亚古珥的言语,就是真言。这人对以铁和乌甲说:

K 箴30:1 The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,

N 箴30:1 The sayings of Agur son of Jakeh--an oracle: This man declared to Ithiel, to Ithiel and to Ucal:

 箴30:2 “我比众人更蠢笨,也没有人的聪明。

K 箴30:2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.

N 箴30:2 "I am the most ignorant of men; I do not have a man's understanding.

 箴30:3 我没有学好智慧,也不认识至圣者。

K 箴30:3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.

N 箴30:3 I have not learned wisdom, nor have I knowledge of the Holy One.

 箴30:4 谁升天又降下来?谁聚风在掌握中?谁包水在衣服里?谁立定地的四极?他名叫什么?他儿子名叫什么?你知道吗?

K 箴30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?

N 箴30:4 Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know!

 箴30:5 神的言语句句都是炼净的!投靠他的,他便作他们的盾牌。

K 箴30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

N 箴30:5 "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

 箴30:6 他的言语,你不可加添,恐怕他责备你,你就显为说谎言的。

K 箴30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

N 箴30:6 Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

 箴30:7 我求你两件事,在我未死之先,不要不赐给我:

K 箴30:7 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:

N 箴30:7 "Two things I ask of you, O LORD; do not refuse me before I die:

 箴30:8 求你使虚假和谎言远离我;使我也不贫穷也不富足,赐给我需用的饮食。

K 箴30:8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:

N 箴30:8 Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.

 箴30:9 恐怕我饱足不认你,说:‘耶和华是谁呢?’又恐怕我贫穷就偷窃,以致亵渎我 神的名。

K 箴30:9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

N 箴30:9 Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.

 箴30:10 你不要向主人谗谤仆人,恐怕他咒诅你,你便算为有罪。

K 箴30:10 Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty.

N 箴30:10 "Do not slander a servant to his master, or he will curse you, and you will pay for it.

 箴30:11 有一宗人(“宗”原文作“代”。下同),咒诅父亲,不给母亲祝福。

K 箴30:11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.

N 箴30:11 "There are those who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers;

 箴30:12 有一宗人,自以为清洁,却没有洗去自己的污秽。

K 箴30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

N 箴30:12 those who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not cleansed of their filth;

 箴30:13 有一宗人,眼目何其高傲,眼皮也是高举。

K 箴30:13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.

N 箴30:13 those whose eyes are ever so haughty, whose glances are so disdainful;

 箴30:14 有一宗人,牙如剑,齿如刀,要吞灭地上的困苦人和世间的穷乏人。

K 箴30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

N 箴30:14 those whose teeth are swords and whose jaws are set with knives to devour the poor from the earth, the needy from among mankind.

 箴30:15 蚂蟥有两个女儿,常说:‘给呀,给呀!’有三样不知足的,连不说‘够’的共有四样:

K 箴30:15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:

N 箴30:15 "The leech has two daughters. 'Give! Give!' they cry. "There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, 'Enough!':

 箴30:16 就是阴间和石胎,浸水不足的地并火。

K 箴30:16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.

N 箴30:16 the grave, the barren womb, land, which is never satisfied with water, and fire, which never says, 'Enough!'

 箴30:17 戏笑父亲,藐视而不听从母亲的,他的眼睛必为谷中的乌鸦啄出来,为鹰雏所吃。

K 箴30:17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.

N 箴30:17 "The eye that mocks a father, that scorns obedience to a mother, will be pecked out by the ravens of the valley, will be eaten by the vultures.

 箴30:18 我所测不透的奇妙有三样,连我所不知道的共有四样:

K 箴30:18 There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:

N 箴30:18 "There are three things that are too amazing for me, four that I do not understand:

 箴30:19 就是鹰在空中飞的道,蛇在磐石上爬的道,船在海中行的道,男与女交合的道。

K 箴30:19 The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.

N 箴30:19 the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a snake on a rock, the way of a ship on the high seas, and the way of a man with a maiden.

 箴30:20 淫妇的道,也是这样,她吃了把嘴一擦,就说:‘我没有行恶。’

K 箴30:20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.

N 箴30:20 "This is the way of an adulteress: She eats and wipes her mouth and says, 'I've done nothing wrong.'

 箴30:21 使地震动的有三样,连地担不起的共有四样:

K 箴30:21 For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:

N 箴30:21 "Under three things the earth trembles, under four it cannot bear up:

 箴30:22 就是仆人作王,愚顽人吃饱,

K 箴30:22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;

N 箴30:22 a servant who becomes king, a fool who is full of food,

 箴30:23 丑恶的女子出嫁,婢女接续主母。

K 箴30:23 For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.

N 箴30:23 an unloved woman who is married, and a maidservant who displaces her mistress.

 箴30:24 地上有四样小物,却甚聪明:

K 箴30:24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:

N 箴30:24 "Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise:

 箴30:25 蚂蚁是无力之类,却在夏天预备粮食;

K 箴30:25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;

N 箴30:25 Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer;

 箴30:26 沙番是软弱之类,却在磐石中造房;

K 箴30:26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;

N 箴30:26 coneys are creatures of little power, yet they make their home in the crags;

 箴30:27 蝗虫没有君王,却分队而出;

K 箴30:27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;

N 箴30:27 locusts have no king, yet they advance together in ranks;

 箴30:28 守宫用爪抓墙,却住在王宫。

K 箴30:28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.

N 箴30:28 a lizard can be caught with the hand, yet it is found in kings' palaces.

 箴30:29 步行威武的有三样,连行走威武的共有四样:

K 箴30:29 There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:

N 箴30:29 "There are three things that are stately in their stride, four that move with stately bearing:

 箴30:30 就是狮子--乃百兽中最为猛烈、无所躲避的,

K 箴30:30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;

N 箴30:30 a lion, mighty among beasts, who retreats before nothing;

 箴30:31 猎狗、公山羊和无人能敌的君王。

K 箴30:31 A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.

N 箴30:31 a strutting rooster, a he-goat, and a king with his army around him.

 箴30:32 你若行事愚顽,自高自傲,或是怀了恶念,就当用手捂口。

K 箴30:32 If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.

N 箴30:32 "If you have played the fool and exalted yourself, or if you have planned evil, clap your hand over your mouth!

 箴30:33 摇牛奶必成奶油,扭鼻子必出血,照样,激动怒气必起争端。”

K 箴30:33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.

N 箴30:33 For as churning the milk produces butter, and as twisting the nose produces blood, so stirring up anger produces strife."
