约翰福音第3章

 约3:1 有一个法利赛人,名叫尼哥底母,是犹太人的官。

K 约3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

N 约3:1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council.

 约3:2 这人夜里来见耶稣,说:“拉比,我们知道你是由 神那里来作师傅的,因为你所行的神迹,若没有 神同在,无人能行。”

K 约3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

N 约3:2 He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him."

 约3:3 耶稣回答说:“我实实在在地告诉你:人若不重生,就不能见 神的国。”

K 约3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

N 约3:3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

 约3:4 尼哥底母说:“人已经老了,如何能重生呢?岂能再进母腹生出来吗?”

K 约3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

N 约3:4 "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"

 约3:5 耶稣说:“我实实在在地告诉你:人若不是从水和圣灵生的,就不能进 神的国。

K 约3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

N 约3:5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

 约3:6 从肉身生的,就是肉身;从灵生的,就是灵。

K 约3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

N 约3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

 约3:7 我说‘你们必须重生’,你不要以为希奇。

K 约3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

N 约3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'

 约3:8 风随着意思吹,你听见风的响声,却不晓得从哪里来,往哪里去;凡从圣灵生的,也是如此。”

K 约3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

N 约3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

 约3:9 尼哥底母问他说:“怎能有这事呢?”

K 约3:9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

N 约3:9 "How can this be?" Nicodemus asked.

 约3:10 耶稣回答说:“你是以色列人的先生,还不明白这事吗?

K 约3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

N 约3:10 "You are Israel's teacher," said Jesus, "and do you not understand these things?

 约3:11 我实实在在地告诉你:我们所说的,是我们知道的;我们所见证的,是我们见过的;你们却不领受我们的见证。

K 约3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

N 约3:11 I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.

 约3:12 我对你们说地上的事,你们尚且不信;若说天上的事,如何能信呢?

K 约3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

N 约3:12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?

 约3:13 除了从天降下仍旧在天的人子,没有人升过天。

K 约3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

N 约3:13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man.

 约3:14 摩西在旷野怎样举蛇,人子也必照样被举起来,

K 约3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

N 约3:14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,

 约3:15 叫一切信他的都得永生(或作“叫一切信的人在他里面得永生”)。

K 约3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

N 约3:15 that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.

 约3:16 神爱世人,甚至将他的独生子赐给他们,叫一切信他的,不至灭亡,反得永生。

K 约3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

N 约3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

 约3:17 因为 神差他的儿子降世,不是要定世人的罪(或作“审判世人”。下同),乃是要叫世人因他得救。

K 约3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

N 约3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

 约3:18 信他的人,不被定罪;不信的人,罪已经定了,因为他不信 神独生子的名。

K 约3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

N 约3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

 约3:19 光来到世间,世人因自己的行为是恶的,不爱光倒爱黑暗,定他们的罪就是在此。

K 约3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

N 约3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

 约3:20 凡作恶的便恨光,并不来就光,恐怕他的行为受责备;

K 约3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

N 约3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

 约3:21 但行真理的必来就光,要显明他所行的是靠 神而行。”

K 约3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

N 约3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

 约3:22 这事以后,耶稣和门徒到了犹太地,在那里居住施洗。

K 约3:22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.

N 约3:22 After this, Jesus and his disciples went out into the Judean countryside, where he spent some time with them, and baptized.

 约3:23 约翰在靠近撒冷的哀嫩也施洗,因为那里水多,众人都去受洗。

K 约3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

N 约3:23 Now John also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because there was plenty of water, and people were constantly coming to be baptized.

 约3:24 那时约翰还没有下在监里。

K 约3:24 For John was not yet cast into prison.

N 约3:24 (This was before John was put in prison.)

 约3:25 约翰的门徒和一个犹太人辩论洁净的礼,

K 约3:25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.

N 约3:25 An argument developed between some of John's disciples and a certain Jew over the matter of ceremonial washing.

 约3:26 就来见约翰说:“拉比,从前同你在约旦河外、你所见证的那位,现在施洗,众人都往他那里去了。”

K 约3:26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

N 约3:26 They came to John and said to him, "Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan--the one you testified about--well, he is baptizing, and everyone is going to him."

 约3:27 约翰说:“若不是从天上赐的,人就不能得什么。

K 约3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

N 约3:27 To this John replied, "A man can receive only what is given him from heaven.

 约3:28 我曾说‘我不是基督,是奉差遣在他前面的’,你们自己可以给我作见证。

K 约3:28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

N 约3:28 You yourselves can testify that I said, 'I am not the Christ but am sent ahead of him.'

 约3:29 娶新妇的就是新郎,新郎的朋友站着听见新郎的声音就甚喜乐,故此我这喜乐满足了。

K 约3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

N 约3:29 The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.

 约3:30 他必兴旺,我必衰微。

K 约3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

N 约3:30 He must become greater; I must become less.

 约3:31 从天上来的,是在万有之上;从地上来的,是属乎地,他所说的也是属乎地。从天上来的是在万有之上。

K 约3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

N 约3:31 "The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all.

 约3:32 他将所见所闻的见证出来,只是没有人领受他的见证。

K 约3:32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

N 约3:32 He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.

 约3:33 那领受他见证的,就印上印,证明 神是真的。

K 约3:33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

N 约3:33 The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.

 约3:34 神所差来的,就说 神的话,因为 神赐圣灵给他,是没有限量的。

K 约3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

N 约3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

 约3:35 父爱子,已将万有交在他手里。

K 约3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

N 约3:35 The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.

 约3:36 信子的人有永生;不信子的人得不着永生(原文作“不得见永生”), 神的震怒常在他身上。”

K 约3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

N 约3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."
