和 约14:1 你们心里不要忧愁，你们信 神，也当信我。
K 约14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
N 约14:1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.
和 约14:2 在我父的家里有许多住处；若是没有，我就早已告诉你们了；我去原是为你们预备地方去。
K 约14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
N 约14:2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
和 约14:3 我若去为你们预备了地方，就必再来接你们到我那里去；我在哪里，叫你们也在那里。
K 约14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
N 约14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
和 约14:4 我往哪里去，你们知道；那条路，你们也知道（有古卷作“我往哪里去，你们知道那条路”）。”
K 约14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
N 约14:4 You know the way to the place where I am going."
和 约14:5 多马对他说：“主啊，我们不知道你往哪里去，怎么知道那条路呢？”
K 约14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
N 约14:5 Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
和 约14:6 耶稣说：“我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉着我，没有人能到父那里去。
K 约14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
N 约14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
和 约14:7 你们若认识我，也就认识我的父。从今以后，你们认识他，并且已经看见他。”
K 约14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
N 约14:7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
和 约14:8 腓力对他说：“求主将父显给我们看，我们就知足了。”
K 约14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
N 约14:8 Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."
和 约14:9 耶稣对他说：“腓力，我与你们同在这样长久，你还不认识我吗？人看见了我，就是看见了父，你怎么说‘将父显给我们看’呢？
K 约14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
N 约14:9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
和 约14:10 我在父里面，父在我里面，你不信吗？我对你们所说的话，不是凭着自己说的，乃是住在我里面的父做他自己的事。
K 约14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
N 约14:10 Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
和 约14:11 你们当信我，我在父里面，父在我里面；即或不信，也当因我所做的事信我。
K 约14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
N 约14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.
和 约14:12 我实实在在地告诉你们：我所做的事，信我的人也要做；并且要做比这更大的事，因为我往父那里去。
K 约14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
N 约14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
和 约14:13 你们奉我的名无论求什么，我必成就，叫父因儿子得荣耀。
K 约14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
N 约14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.
和 约14:14 你们若奉我的名求什么，我必成就。
K 约14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
N 约14:14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
和 约14:15 你们若爱我，就必遵守我的命令。
K 约14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
N 约14:15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command.
和 约14:16 我要求父，父就另外赐给你们一位保惠师（或作“训慰师”。下同），叫他永远与你们同在，
K 约14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
N 约14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--
和 约14:17 就是真理的圣灵，乃世人不能接受的，因为不见他，也不认识他；你们却认识他，因他常与你们同在，也要在你们里面。
K 约14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
N 约14:17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
和 约14:18 我不撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。
K 约14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
N 约14:18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
和 约14:19 还有不多的时候，世人不再看见我；你们却看见我，因为我活着，你们也要活着。
K 约14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
N 约14:19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.
和 约14:20 到那日你们就知道我在父里面，你们在我里面，我也在你们里面。
K 约14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
N 约14:20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
和 约14:21 有了我的命令又遵守的，这人就是爱我的；爱我的必蒙我父爱他，我也要爱他，并且要向他显现。”
K 约14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
N 约14:21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."
和 约14:22 犹大（不是加略人犹大）问耶稣说：“主啊，为什么要向我们显现，不向世人显现呢？”
K 约14:22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
N 约14:22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?"
和 约14:23 耶稣回答说：“人若爱我，就必遵守我的道，我父也必爱他，并且我们要到他那里去，与他同住。
K 约14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
N 约14:23 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
和 约14:24 不爱我的人就不遵守我的道，你们所听见的道不是我的，乃是差我来之父的道。
K 约14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
N 约14:24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
和 约14:25 我还与你们同住的时候，已将这些话对你们说了。
K 约14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
N 约14:25 "All this I have spoken while still with you.
和 约14:26 但保惠师，就是父因我的名所要差来的圣灵，他要将一切的事指教你们，并且要叫你们想起我对你们所说的一切话。
K 约14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
N 约14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
和 约14:27 我留下平安给你们，我将我的平安赐给你们。我所赐的，不像世人所赐的；你们心里不要忧愁，也不要胆怯。
K 约14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
N 约14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
和 约14:28 你们听见我对你们说了，我去还要到你们这里来。你们若爱我，因我到父那里去，就必喜乐，因为父是比我大的。
K 约14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
N 约14:28 "You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
和 约14:29 现在事情还没有成就，我预先告诉你们，叫你们到事情成就的时候，就可以信。
K 约14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
N 约14:29 I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.
和 约14:30 以后我不再和你们多说话，因为这世界的王将到，他在我里面是毫无所有；
K 约14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
N 约14:30 I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold on me,
和 约14:31 但要叫世人知道我爱父，并且父怎样吩咐我，我就怎样行。起来，我们走吧。
K 约14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
N 约14:31 but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me. "Come now; let us leave.
