申命记第25章

 申25:1 人若有争讼,来听审判,审判官就要定义人有理,定恶人有罪。

K 申25:1 If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.

N 申25:1 When men have a dispute, they are to take it to court and the judges will decide the case, acquitting the innocent and condemning the guilty.

 申25:2 恶人若该受责打,审判官就要叫他当面伏在地上,按着他的罪照数责打。

K 申25:2 And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.

N 申25:2 If the guilty man deserves to be beaten, the judge shall make him lie down and have him flogged in his presence with the number of lashes his crime deserves,

 申25:3 只可打他四十下,不可过数;若过数,便是轻贱你的弟兄了。

K 申25:3 Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee.

N 申25:3 but he must not give him more than forty lashes. If he is flogged more than that, your brother will be degraded in your eyes.

 申25:4 牛在场上踹谷的时候,不可笼住它的嘴。

K 申25:4 Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.

N 申25:4 Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.

 申25:5 弟兄同居,若死了一个,没有儿子,死人的妻不可出嫁外人,她丈夫的兄弟当尽弟兄的本分,娶她为妻,与她同房。

K 申25:5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her.

N 申25:5 If brothers are living together and one of them dies without a son, his widow must not marry outside the family. Her husband's brother shall take her and marry her and fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law to her.

 申25:6 妇人生的长子必归死兄的名下,免得他的名在以色列中涂抹了。

K 申25:6 And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.

N 申25:6 The first son she bears shall carry on the name of the dead brother so that his name will not be blotted out from Israel.

 申25:7 那人若不愿意娶她哥哥的妻,他哥哥的妻就要到城门长老那里说:‘我丈夫的兄弟不肯在以色列中兴起他哥哥的名字,不给我尽弟兄的本分。’

K 申25:7 And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband's brother.

N 申25:7 However, if a man does not want to marry his brother's wife, she shall go to the elders at the town gate and say, "My husband's brother refuses to carry on his brother's name in Israel. He will not fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law to me."

 申25:8 本城的长老就要召那人来问他,他若执意说:‘我不愿意娶她。’

K 申25:8 Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;

N 申25:8 Then the elders of his town shall summon him and talk to him. If he persists in saying, "I do not want to marry her,"

 申25:9 他哥哥的妻就要当着长老到那人的跟前,脱了他的鞋,吐唾沫在他脸上说:‘凡不为哥哥建立家室的,都要这样待他。’

K 申25:9 Then shall his brother's wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother's house.

N 申25:9 his brother's widow shall go up to him in the presence of the elders, take off one of his sandals, spit in his face and say, "This is what is done to the man who will not build up his brother's family line."

 申25:10 在以色列中,他的名必称为‘脱鞋之家’。

K 申25:10 And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath his shoe loosed.

N 申25:10 That man's line shall be known in Israel as The Family of the Unsandaled.

 申25:11 若有二人争斗,这人的妻近前来,要救她丈夫脱离那打她丈夫之人的手,抓住那人的下体,

K 申25:11 When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets:

N 申25:11 If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts,

 申25:12 就要砍断妇人的手,眼不可顾惜她。

K 申25:12 Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.

N 申25:12 you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity.

 申25:13 你囊中不可有一大一小两样的法码;

K 申25:13 Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.

N 申25:13 Do not have two differing weights in your bag--one heavy, one light.

 申25:14 你家里不可有一大一小两样的升斗。

K 申25:14 Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.

N 申25:14 Do not have two differing measures in your house--one large, one small.

 申25:15 当用对准公平的法码、公平的升斗。这样,在耶和华你 神所赐你的地上,你的日子就可以长久。

K 申25:15 But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

N 申25:15 You must have accurate and honest weights and measures, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

 申25:16 因为行非义之事的人,都是耶和华你 神所憎恶的。

K 申25:16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

N 申25:16 For the LORD your God detests anyone who does these things, anyone who deals dishonestly.

 申25:17 你要记念你们出埃及的时候,亚玛力人在路上怎样待你。

K 申25:17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;

N 申25:17 Remember what the Amalekites did to you along the way when you came out of Egypt.

 申25:18 他们在路上遇见你,趁你疲乏困倦,击杀你尽后边软弱的人,并不敬畏 神。

K 申25:18 How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.

N 申25:18 When you were weary and worn out, they met you on your journey and cut off all who were lagging behind; they had no fear of God.

 申25:19 所以,耶和华你 神使你不被四围一切的仇敌扰乱,在耶和华你 神赐你为业的地上得享平安。那时,你要将亚玛力的名号从天下涂抹了,不可忘记。

K 申25:19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.

N 申25:19 When the LORD your God gives you rest from all the enemies around you in the land he is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget!
