约伯记第8章

 伯8:1 书亚人比勒达回答说:

K 伯8:1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

N 伯8:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite replied:

 伯8:2 “这些话你要说到几时?口中的言语如狂风要到几时呢?

K 伯8:2 How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?

N 伯8:2 "How long will you say such things? Your words are a blustering wind.

 伯8:3 神岂能偏离公平?全能者岂能偏离公义?

K 伯8:3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

N 伯8:3 Does God pervert justice? Does the Almighty pervert what is right?

 伯8:4 或者你的儿女得罪了他,他使他们受报应。

K 伯8:4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;

N 伯8:4 When your children sinned against him, he gave them over to the penalty of their sin.

 伯8:5 你若殷勤地寻求 神,向全能者恳求;

K 伯8:5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

N 伯8:5 But if you will look to God and plead with the Almighty,

 伯8:6 你若清洁正直,他必定为你起来,使你公义的居所兴旺。

K 伯8:6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

N 伯8:6 if you are pure and upright, even now he will rouse himself on your behalf and restore you to your rightful place.

 伯8:7 你起初虽然微小,终久必甚发达。

K 伯8:7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

N 伯8:7 Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.

 伯8:8 请你考问前代,追念他们的列祖所查究的。

K 伯8:8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

N 伯8:8 "Ask the former generations and find out what their fathers learned,

 伯8:9 (我们不过从昨日才有,一无所知,我们在世的日子好像影儿。)

K 伯8:9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)

N 伯8:9 for we were born only yesterday and know nothing, and our days on earth are but a shadow.

 伯8:10 他们岂不指教你、告诉你从心里发出言语来呢?

K 伯8:10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?

N 伯8:10 Will they not instruct you and tell you? Will they not bring forth words from their understanding?

 伯8:11 蒲草没有泥岂能发长?芦荻没有水岂能生发?

K 伯8:11 Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?

N 伯8:11 Can papyrus grow tall where there is no marsh? Can reeds thrive without water?

 伯8:12 尚青的时候,还没有割下,比百样的草先枯稿;

K 伯8:12 Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb.

N 伯8:12 While still growing and uncut, they wither more quickly than grass.

 伯8:13 凡忘记 神的人,景况也是这样。不虔敬人的指望要灭没,

K 伯8:13 So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:

N 伯8:13 Such is the destiny of all who forget God; so perishes the hope of the godless.

 伯8:14 他所仰赖的必折断,他所倚靠的是蜘蛛网。

K 伯8:14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web.

N 伯8:14 What he trusts in is fragile; what he relies on is a spider's web.

 伯8:15 他要倚靠房屋,房屋却站立不住;他要抓住房屋,房屋却不能存留。

K 伯8:15 He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.

N 伯8:15 He leans on his web, but it gives way; he clings to it, but it does not hold.

 伯8:16 他在日光之下发青,蔓子爬满了园子。

K 伯8:16 He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.

N 伯8:16 He is like a well-watered plant in the sunshine, spreading its shoots over the garden;

 伯8:17 他的根盘绕石堆,扎入石地。

K 伯8:17 His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones.

N 伯8:17 it entwines its roots around a pile of rocks and looks for a place among the stones.

 伯8:18 他若从本地被拔出,那地就不认识他说:‘我没有见过你。’

K 伯8:18 If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.

N 伯8:18 But when it is torn from its spot, that place disowns it and says, 'I never saw you.'

 伯8:19 看哪!这就是他道中之乐,以后必另有人从地而生。

K 伯8:19 Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.

N 伯8:19 Surely its life withers away, and from the soil other plants grow.

 伯8:20 神必不丢弃完全人,也不扶助邪恶人。

K 伯8:20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:

N 伯8:20 "Surely God does not reject a blameless man or strengthen the hands of evildoers.

 伯8:21 他还要以喜笑充满你的口,以欢呼充满你的嘴。

K 伯8:21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

N 伯8:21 He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.

 伯8:22 恨恶你的要披戴惭愧;恶人的帐棚,必归于无有。”

K 伯8:22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.

N 伯8:22 Your enemies will be clothed in shame, and the tents of the wicked will be no more."
