和 伯35:1 以利户又说：
K 伯35:1 Elihu spake moreover, and said,
N 伯35:1 Then Elihu said:
和 伯35:2 “你以为有理，或以为你的公义胜于 神的公义，
K 伯35:2 Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
N 伯35:2 "Do you think this is just? You say, 'I will be cleared by God.'
和 伯35:3 才说：‘这与我有什么益处？我不犯罪，比犯罪有什么好处呢？’
K 伯35:3 For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?
N 伯35:3 Yet you ask him, 'What profit is it to me, and what do I gain by not sinning?'
和 伯35:4 我要回答你和在你这里的朋友。
K 伯35:4 I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.
N 伯35:4 "I would like to reply to you and to your friends with you.
和 伯35:5 你要向天观看，瞻望那高于你的穹苍。
K 伯35:5 Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.
N 伯35:5 Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you.
和 伯35:6 你若犯罪，能使 神受何害呢？你的过犯加增，能使 神受何损呢？
K 伯35:6 If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
N 伯35:6 If you sin, how does that affect him? If your sins are many, what does that do to him?
和 伯35:7 你若是公义，还能加增他什么呢？他从你手里还接受什么呢？
K 伯35:7 If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
N 伯35:7 If you are righteous, what do you give to him, or what does he receive from your hand?
和 伯35:8 你的过恶或能害你这类的人；你的公义或能叫世人得益处。
K 伯35:8 Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
N 伯35:8 Your wickedness affects only a man like yourself, and your righteousness only the sons of men.
和 伯35:9 人因多受欺压就哀求，因受能者的辖制（原文作“膀臂”）便求救；
K 伯35:9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
N 伯35:9 "Men cry out under a load of oppression; they plead for relief from the arm of the powerful.
和 伯35:10 却无人说：‘造我的 神在哪里？’他使人夜间歌唱。
K 伯35:10 But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
N 伯35:10 But no one says, 'Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
和 伯35:11 教训我们胜于地上的走兽，使我们有聪明胜于空中的飞鸟。
K 伯35:11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
N 伯35:11 who teaches more to us than to the beasts of the earth and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?'
和 伯35:12 他们在那里，因恶人的骄傲呼求，却无人答应。
K 伯35:12 There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
N 伯35:12 He does not answer when men cry out because of the arrogance of the wicked.
和 伯35:13 虚妄的呼求， 神必不垂听；全能者也必不眷顾。
K 伯35:13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
N 伯35:13 Indeed, God does not listen to their empty plea; the Almighty pays no attention to it.
和 伯35:14 何况你说，你不得见他。你的案件在他面前，你等候他吧！
K 伯35:14 Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.
N 伯35:14 How much less, then, will he listen when you say that you do not see him, that your case is before him and you must wait for him,
和 伯35:15 但如今因他未曾发怒降罚，也不甚理会狂傲。
K 伯35:15 But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:
N 伯35:15 and further, that his anger never punishes and he does not take the least notice of wickedness.
和 伯35:16 所以约伯开口说虚妄的话，多发无知识的言语。”
K 伯35:16 Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
N 伯35:16 So Job opens his mouth with empty talk; without knowledge he multiplies words."
