K 伯11:1 Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

和 伯11:2 “这许多的言语岂不该回答吗?多嘴多舌的人岂可称为义吗?
K 伯11:2 Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
N 伯11:2 "Are all these words to go unanswered? Is this talker to be vindicated?
和 伯11:3 你夸大的话,岂能使人不作声吗?你戏笑的时候,岂没有人叫你害羞吗?
K 伯11:3 Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
N 伯11:3 Will your idle talk reduce men to silence? Will no one rebuke you when you mock?
和 伯11:4 你说:‘我的道理纯全,我在你眼前洁净。’
K 伯11:4 For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
N 伯11:4 You say to God, 'My beliefs are flawless and I am pure in your sight.'
和 伯11:5 惟愿 神说话,愿他开口攻击你,
K 伯11:5 But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
N 伯11:5 Oh, how I wish that God would speak, that he would open his lips against you
和 伯11:6 并将智慧的奥秘指示你;他有诸般的智识。所以当知道: 神追讨你,比你罪孽该得的还少。
K 伯11:6 And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
N 伯11:6 and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides. Know this: God has even forgotten some of your sin.
和 伯11:7 你考察,就能测透 神吗?你岂能尽情测透全能者吗?
K 伯11:7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
N 伯11:7 "Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?
和 伯11:8 他的智慧高于天,你还能做什么?深于阴间,你还能知道什么?
K 伯11:8 It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
N 伯11:8 They are higher than the heavens--what can you do? They are deeper than the depths of the grave--what can you know?
和 伯11:9 其量,比地长,比海宽。
K 伯11:9 The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
N 伯11:9 Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.
和 伯11:10 他若经过,将人拘禁,招人受审,谁能阻挡他呢?
K 伯11:10 If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
N 伯11:10 "If he comes along and confines you in prison and convenes a court, who can oppose him?
和 伯11:11 他本知道虚妄的人;人的罪孽,他虽不留意,还是无所不见。
K 伯11:11 For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?
N 伯11:11 Surely he recognizes deceitful men; and when he sees evil, does he not take note?
和 伯11:12 空虚的人却毫无知识,人生在世好像野驴的驹子。
K 伯11:12 For vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.
N 伯11:12 But a witless man can no more become wise than a wild donkey's colt can be born a man.
和 伯11:13 你若将心安正,又向主举手。
K 伯11:13 If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
N 伯11:13 "Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him,
和 伯11:14 你手里若有罪孽,就当远远地除掉,也不容非义住在你帐棚之中。
K 伯11:14 If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
N 伯11:14 if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent,
和 伯11:15 那时,你必仰起脸来,毫无斑点;你也必坚固,无所惧怕。
K 伯11:15 For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
N 伯11:15 then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear.
和 伯11:16 你必忘记你的苦楚,就是想起也如流过去的水一样。
K 伯11:16 Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:
N 伯11:16 You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by.
和 伯11:17 你在世的日子要比正午更明,虽有黑暗,仍像早晨。
K 伯11:17 And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
N 伯11:17 Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning.
和 伯11:18 你因有指望,就必稳固,也必四围巡查,坦然安息。
K 伯11:18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
N 伯11:18 You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety.
和 伯11:19 你躺卧无人惊吓,且有许多人向你求恩。
K 伯11:19 Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
N 伯11:19 You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor.
和 伯11:20 但恶人的眼目必要失明,他们无路可逃,他们的指望就是气绝。”
K 伯11:20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.
N 伯11:20 But the eyes of the wicked will fail, and escape will elude them; their hope will become a dying gasp."
