和 伯38:1 那时，耶和华从旋风中回答约伯说：
K 伯38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

和 伯38:2 “谁用无知的言语使我的旨意暗昧不明？
K 伯38:2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
N 伯38:2 "Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?
和 伯38:3 你要如勇士束腰；我问你，你可以指示我。
K 伯38:3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
N 伯38:3 Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.
和 伯38:4 我立大地根基的时候，你在哪里呢？你若有聪明，只管说吧！
K 伯38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
N 伯38:4 "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand.
和 伯38:5 你若晓得就说，是谁定地的尺度？是谁把准绳拉在其上？
K 伯38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
N 伯38:5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it?
和 伯38:6 地的根基安置在何处？地的角石是谁安放的？
K 伯38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
N 伯38:6 On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone--
和 伯38:7 那时，晨星一同歌唱， 神的众子也都欢呼。
K 伯38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
N 伯38:7 while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?
和 伯38:8 海水冲出，如出胎胞，那时，谁将它关闭呢？
K 伯38:8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
N 伯38:8 "Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb,
和 伯38:9 是我用云彩当海的衣服，用幽暗当包裹它的布，
K 伯38:9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
N 伯38:9 when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness,
和 伯38:10 为它定界限，又安门和闩，
K 伯38:10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
N 伯38:10 when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place,
和 伯38:11 说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过，你狂傲的浪要到此止住。’
K 伯38:11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
N 伯38:11 when I said, 'This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt'?
和 伯38:12 你自生以来，曾命定晨光，使清晨的日光知道本位，
K 伯38:12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
N 伯38:12 "Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,
和 伯38:13 叫这光普照地的四极，将恶人从其中驱逐出来吗？
K 伯38:13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
N 伯38:13 that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?
和 伯38:14 因这光，地面改变如泥上印印，万物出现如衣服一样。
K 伯38:14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
N 伯38:14 The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its features stand out like those of a garment.
和 伯38:15 亮光不照恶人，强横的膀臂也必折断。
K 伯38:15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
N 伯38:15 The wicked are denied their light, and their upraised arm is broken.
和 伯38:16 你曾进到海源，或在深渊的隐密处行走吗？
K 伯38:16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
N 伯38:16 "Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep?
和 伯38:17 死亡的门曾向你显露吗？死荫的门你曾见过吗？
K 伯38:17 Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
N 伯38:17 Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?
和 伯38:18 地的广大你能明透吗？你若全知道，只管说吧！
K 伯38:18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.
N 伯38:18 Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this.
和 伯38:19 光明的居所从何而至？黑暗的本位在于何处？
K 伯38:19 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
N 伯38:19 "What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside?
和 伯38:20 你能带到本境，能看明其室之路吗？
K 伯38:20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?
N 伯38:20 Can you take them to their places? Do you know the paths to their dwellings?
和 伯38:21 你总知道，因为你早已生在世上，你日子的数目也多。
K 伯38:21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?
N 伯38:21 Surely you know, for you were already born! You have lived so many years!
和 伯38:22 你曾进入雪库，或见过雹仓吗？
K 伯38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
N 伯38:22 "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of the hail,
和 伯38:23 这雪雹乃是我为降灾，并打仗和争战的日子所预备的。
K 伯38:23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
N 伯38:23 which I reserve for times of trouble, for days of war and battle?
和 伯38:24 光亮从何路分开？东风从何路分散遍地？
K 伯38:24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
N 伯38:24 What is the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed, or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth?
和 伯38:25 谁为雨水分道？谁为雷电开路，
K 伯38:25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
N 伯38:25 Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm,
和 伯38:26 使雨降在无人之地、无人居住的旷野？
K 伯38:26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
N 伯38:26 to water a land where no man lives, a desert with no one in it,
和 伯38:27 使荒废凄凉之地得以丰足，青草得以发生？
K 伯38:27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
N 伯38:27 to satisfy a desolate wasteland and make it sprout with grass?
和 伯38:28 雨有父吗？露水珠是谁生的呢？
K 伯38:28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
N 伯38:28 Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew?
和 伯38:29 冰出于谁的胎？天上的霜是谁生的呢？
K 伯38:29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
N 伯38:29 From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens
和 伯38:30 诸水坚硬（或作“隐藏”）如石头，深渊之面凝结成冰。
K 伯38:30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
N 伯38:30 when the waters become hard as stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen?
和 伯38:31 你能系住昴星的结吗？能解开参星的带吗？
K 伯38:31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
N 伯38:31 "Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orion?
和 伯38:32 你能按时领出十二宫吗？能引导北斗和随它的众星吗（“星”原文作“子”）？
K 伯38:32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
N 伯38:32 Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear with its cubs?
和 伯38:33 你知道天的定例吗？能使地归在天的权下吗？
K 伯38:33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
N 伯38:33 Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God'sdominion over the earth?
和 伯38:34 你能向云彩扬起声来，使倾盆的雨遮盖你吗？
K 伯38:34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
N 伯38:34 "Can you raise your voice to the clouds and cover yourself with a flood of water?
和 伯38:35 你能发出闪电，叫它行去，使它对你说，我们在这里？
K 伯38:35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?
N 伯38:35 Do you send the lightning bolts on their way? Do they report to you, 'Here we are'?
和 伯38:36 谁将智慧放在怀中？谁将聪明赐于心内？
K 伯38:36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?
N 伯38:36 Who endowed the heart with wisdom or gave understanding to the mind?
和 伯38:37 谁能用智慧数算云彩呢。尘土聚集成团，
K 伯38:37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
N 伯38:37 Who has the wisdom to count the clouds? Who can tip over the water jars of the heavens
和 伯38:38 土块紧紧结连。那时，谁能倾倒天上的瓶呢。
K 伯38:38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
N 伯38:38 when the dust becomes hard and the clods of earth stick together?
和 伯38:39 母狮子在洞中蹲伏，少壮狮子在隐密处埋伏。
K 伯38:39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
N 伯38:39 "Do you hunt the prey for the lioness and satisfy the hunger of the lions
和 伯38:40 你能为它们抓取食物，使它们饱足吗。
K 伯38:40 When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?
N 伯38:40 when they crouch in their dens or lie in wait in a thicket?
和 伯38:41 乌鸦之雏，因无食物飞来飞去，哀告 神；那时，谁为它预备食物呢？
K 伯38:41 Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.
N 伯38:41 Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?
