 伯41:1 你能用鱼钩钓上鳄鱼吗?能用绳子压下它的舌头吗?

K 伯41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?

N 伯41:1 "Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope?

 伯41:2 你能用绳索穿它的鼻子吗?能用钩穿它的腮骨吗?

K 伯41:2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?

N 伯41:2 Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook?

 伯41:3 它岂向你连连恳求,说柔和的话吗?

K 伯41:3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?

N 伯41:3 Will he keep begging you for mercy? Will he speak to you with gentle words?

 伯41:4 岂肯与你立约,使你拿它永远作奴仆吗?

K 伯41:4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?

N 伯41:4 Will he make an agreement with you for you to take him as your slave for life?

 伯41:5 你岂可拿它当雀鸟玩耍吗?岂可为你的幼女将它拴住吗?

K 伯41:5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?

N 伯41:5 Can you make a pet of him like a bird or put him on a leash for your girls?

 伯41:6 搭夥的渔夫,岂可拿它当货物吗?能把它分给商人吗?

K 伯41:6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?

N 伯41:6 Will traders barter for him? Will they divide him up among the merchants?

 伯41:7 你能用倒?鰆扎满它的皮,能用鱼叉叉满它的头吗?

K 伯41:7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?

N 伯41:7 Can you fill his hide with harpoons or his head with fishing spears?

 伯41:8 你按手在它身上,想与它争战,就不再这样行吧!

K 伯41:8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.

N 伯41:8 If you lay a hand on him, you will remember the struggle and never do it again!

 伯41:9 人指望捉拿它是徒然的;一见它,岂不丧胆吗?

K 伯41:9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?

N 伯41:9 Any hope of subduing him is false; the mere sight of him is overpowering.

 伯41:10 没有那么凶猛的人敢惹它。这样,谁能在我面前站立得住呢?

K 伯41:10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?

N 伯41:10 No one is fierce enough to rouse him. Who then is able to stand against me?

 伯41:11 谁先给我什么,使我偿还呢?天下万物都是我的。

K 伯41:11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.

N 伯41:11 Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me.

 伯41:12 论到鳄鱼的肢体和其大力,并美好的骨骼,我不能缄默不言。

K 伯41:12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.

N 伯41:12 "I will not fail to speak of his limbs, his strength and his graceful form.

 伯41:13 谁能剥它的外衣?谁能进它上下牙骨之间呢?

K 伯41:13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?

N 伯41:13 Who can strip off his outer coat? Who would approach him with a bridle?

 伯41:14 谁能开它的腮颊?它牙齿四围是可畏的。

K 伯41:14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.

N 伯41:14 Who dares open the doors of his mouth, ringed about with his fearsome teeth?

 伯41:15 它以坚固的鳞甲为可夸,紧紧合闭,封得严密。

K 伯41:15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.

N 伯41:15 His back has rows of shields tightly sealed together;

 伯41:16 这鳞甲一一相连,甚至气不得透入其间,

K 伯41:16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.

N 伯41:16 each is so close to the next that no air can pass between.

 伯41:17 都是互相联络、胶结,不能分离。

K 伯41:17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.

N 伯41:17 They are joined fast to one another; they cling together and cannot be parted.

 伯41:18 它打喷嚏,就发出光来;它眼睛好像早晨的光线(原文作“眼皮”)。

K 伯41:18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.

N 伯41:18 His snorting throws out flashes of light; his eyes are like the rays of dawn.

 伯41:19 从它口中发出烧着的火把,与飞迸的火星;

K 伯41:19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.

N 伯41:19 Firebrands stream from his mouth; sparks of fire shoot out.

 伯41:20 从它鼻孔冒出烟来,如烧开的锅和点着的芦苇。

K 伯41:20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.

N 伯41:20 Smoke pours from his nostrils as from a boiling pot over a fire of reeds.

 伯41:21 它的气点着煤炭,有火焰从它口中发出。

K 伯41:21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.

N 伯41:21 His breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from his mouth.

 伯41:22 它颈项中存着劲力,在它面前的都恐吓蹦跳。

K 伯41:22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.

N 伯41:22 Strength resides in his neck; dismay goes before him.

 伯41:23 它的肉块互相联络,紧贴其身,不能摇动。

K 伯41:23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.

N 伯41:23 The folds of his flesh are tightly joined; they are firm and immovable.

 伯41:24 它的心结实如石头,如下磨石那样结实。

K 伯41:24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.

N 伯41:24 His chest is hard as rock, hard as a lower millstone.

 伯41:25 它一起来,勇士都惊恐,心里慌乱,便都昏迷。

K 伯41:25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.

N 伯41:25 When he rises up, the mighty are terrified; they retreat before his thrashing.

 伯41:26 人若用刀,用枪,用标枪,用尖枪扎它,都是无用。

K 伯41:26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.

N 伯41:26 The sword that reaches him has no effect, nor does the spear or the dart or the javelin.

 伯41:27 它以铁为干草,以铜为烂木。

K 伯41:27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.

N 伯41:27 Iron he treats like straw and bronze like rotten wood.

 伯41:28 箭不能恐吓它使它逃避;弹石在它看为碎秸,

K 伯41:28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.

N 伯41:28 Arrows do not make him flee; slingstones are like chaff to him.

 伯41:29 棍棒算为禾秸;它嗤笑短枪飕的响声。

K 伯41:29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.

N 伯41:29 A club seems to him but a piece of straw; he laughs at the rattling of the lance.

 伯41:30 它肚腹下如尖瓦片,它如钉耙经过淤泥。

K 伯41:30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.

N 伯41:30 His undersides are jagged potsherds, leaving a trail in the mud like a threshing sledge.

 伯41:31 它使深渊开滚如锅,使洋海如锅中的膏油。

K 伯41:31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.

N 伯41:31 He makes the depths churn like a boiling caldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment.

 伯41:32 它行的路随后发光,令人想深渊如同白发。

K 伯41:32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.

N 伯41:32 Behind him he leaves a glistening wake; one would think the deep had white hair.

 伯41:33 在地上没有像它造的那样,无所惧怕。

K 伯41:33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.

N 伯41:33 Nothing on earth is his equal--a creature without fear.

 伯41:34 凡高大的,它无不藐视;它在骄傲的水族上作王。”

K 伯41:34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.

N 伯41:34 He looks down on all that are haughty; he is king over all that are proud."
