约伯记第29章

 伯29:1 约伯又接着说:

K 伯29:1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

N 伯29:1 Job continued his discourse:

 伯29:2 “惟愿我的景况如从前的月份,如 神保守我的日子。

K 伯29:2 Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me;

N 伯29:2 "How I long for the months gone by, for the days when God watched over me,

 伯29:3 那时他的灯照在我头上,我藉他的光行过黑暗。

K 伯29:3 When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness;

N 伯29:3 when his lamp shone upon my head and by his light I walked through darkness!

 伯29:4 我愿如壮年的时候,那时我在帐棚中, 神待我有密友之情;

K 伯29:4 As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;

N 伯29:4 Oh, for the days when I was in my prime, when God's intimate friendship blessed my house,

 伯29:5 全能者仍与我同在,我的儿女都环绕我。

K 伯29:5 When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me;

N 伯29:5 when the Almighty was still with me and my children were around me,

 伯29:6 奶多可洗我的脚;磐石为我出油成河。

K 伯29:6 When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;

N 伯29:6 when my path was drenched with cream and the rock poured out for me streams of olive oil.

 伯29:7 我出到城门,在街上设立座位;

K 伯29:7 When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street!

N 伯29:7 "When I went to the gate of the city and took my seat in the public square,

 伯29:8 少年人见我而回避,老年人也起身站立;

K 伯29:8 The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up.

N 伯29:8 the young men saw me and stepped aside and the old men rose to their feet;

 伯29:9 王子都停止说话,用手捂口;

K 伯29:9 The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth.

N 伯29:9 the chief men refrained from speaking and covered their mouths with their hands;

 伯29:10 首领静默无声,舌头贴住上膛。

K 伯29:10 The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth.

N 伯29:10 the voices of the nobles were hushed, and their tongues stuck to the roof of their mouths.

 伯29:11 耳朵听我的,就称我有福;眼睛看我的,便称赞我;

K 伯29:11 When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me:

N 伯29:11 Whoever heard me spoke well of me, and those who saw me commended me,

 伯29:12 因我拯救哀求的困苦人和无人帮助的孤儿。

K 伯29:12 Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.

N 伯29:12 because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist him.

 伯29:13 将要灭亡的为我祝福;我也使寡妇心中欢乐。

K 伯29:13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.

N 伯29:13 The man who was dying blessed me; I made the widow's heart sing.

 伯29:14 我以公义为衣服,以公平为外袍和冠冕。

K 伯29:14 I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem.

N 伯29:14 I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was my robe and my turban.

 伯29:15 我为瞎子的眼,瘸子的脚。

K 伯29:15 I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame.

N 伯29:15 I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame.

 伯29:16 我为穷乏人的父;素不认识的人,我查明他的案件。

K 伯29:16 I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out.

N 伯29:16 I was a father to the needy; I took up the case of the stranger.

 伯29:17 我打破不义之人的牙床,从他牙齿中夺了所抢的。

K 伯29:17 And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.

N 伯29:17 I broke the fangs of the wicked and snatched the victims from their teeth.

 伯29:18 我便说:‘我必死在家中(原文作“窝中”),必增添我的日子,多如尘沙。

K 伯29:18 Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand.

N 伯29:18 "I thought, 'I will die in my own house, my days as numerous as the grains of sand.

 伯29:19 我的根长到水边,露水终夜沾在我的枝上。

K 伯29:19 My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch.

N 伯29:19 My roots will reach to the water, and the dew will lie all night on my branches.

 伯29:20 我的荣耀在身上增新,我的弓在手中日强。’

K 伯29:20 My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand.

N 伯29:20 My glory will remain fresh in me, the bow ever new in my hand.'

 伯29:21 人听见我而仰望,静默等候我的指教。

K 伯29:21 Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.

N 伯29:21 "Men listened to me expectantly, waiting in silence for my counsel.

 伯29:22 我说话之后,他们就不再说;我的言语像雨露滴在他们身上。

K 伯29:22 After my words they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them.

N 伯29:22 After I had spoken, they spoke no more; my words fell gently on their ears.

 伯29:23 他们仰望我如仰望雨,又张开口如切慕春雨。

K 伯29:23 And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.

N 伯29:23 They waited for me as for showers and drank in my words as the spring rain.

 伯29:24 他们不敢自信,我就向他们含笑;他们不使我脸上的光改变。

K 伯29:24 If I laughed on them, they believed it not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down.

N 伯29:24 When I smiled at them, they scarcely believed it; the light of my face was precious to them.

 伯29:25 我为他们选择道路,又坐首位。我如君王在军队中居住,又如吊丧的安慰伤心的人。

K 伯29:25 I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth the mourners.

N 伯29:25 I chose the way for them and sat as their chief; I dwelt as a king among his troops; I was like one who comforts mourners.
