约伯记第14章

 伯14:1 人为妇人所生,日子短少,多有患难。

K 伯14:1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.

N 伯14:1 "Man born of woman is of few days and full of trouble.

 伯14:2 出来如花,又被割下;飞去如影,不能存留。

K 伯14:2 He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.

N 伯14:2 He springs up like a flower and withers away; like a fleeting shadow, he does not endure.

 伯14:3 这样的人你岂睁眼看他吗?又叫我来受审吗?

K 伯14:3 And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?

N 伯14:3 Do you fix your eye on such a one? Will you bring him before you for judgment?

 伯14:4 谁能使洁净之物出于污秽之中呢?无论谁也不能!

K 伯14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

N 伯14:4 Who can bring what is pure from the impure? No one!

 伯14:5 人的日子既然限定,他的月数在你那里,你也派定他的界限,使他不能越过;

K 伯14:5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;

N 伯14:5 Man's days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed.

 伯14:6 便求你转眼不看他,使他得歇息,直等他像雇工人完毕他的日子。

K 伯14:6 Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day.

N 伯14:6 So look away from him and let him alone, till he has put in his time like a hired man.

 伯14:7 树若被砍下,还可指望发芽,嫩枝生长不息,

K 伯14:7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

N 伯14:7 "At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail.

 伯14:8 其根虽然衰老在地里,干也死在土中;

K 伯14:8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;

N 伯14:8 Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil,

 伯14:9 及至得了水气,还要发芽,又长枝条,像新栽的树一样。

K 伯14:9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.

N 伯14:9 yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant.

 伯14:10 但人死亡而消灭,他气绝,竟在何处呢?

K 伯14:10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?

N 伯14:10 But man dies and is laid low; he breathes his last and is no more.

 伯14:11 海中的水绝尽,江河消散干涸。

K 伯14:11 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:

N 伯14:11 As water disappears from the sea or a riverbed becomes parched and dry,

 伯14:12 人也是如此,躺下不再起来,等到天没有了,仍不得复醒,也不得从睡中唤醒。

K 伯14:12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

N 伯14:12 so man lies down and does not rise; till the heavens are no more, men will not awake or be roused from their sleep.

 伯14:13 惟愿你把我藏在阴间,存于隐密处,等你的忿怒过去;愿你为我定了日期记念我。

K 伯14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!

N 伯14:13 "If only you would hide me in the grave and conceal me till your anger has passed! If only you would set me a time and then remember me!

 伯14:14 人若死了岂能再活呢?我只要在我一切争战的日子,等我被释放(或作“改变”)的时候来到。

K 伯14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

N 伯14:14 If a man dies, will he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait for my renewal to come.

 伯14:15 你呼叫,我便回答;你手所作的,你必羡慕。

K 伯14:15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.

N 伯14:15 You will call and I will answer you; you will long for the creature your hands have made.

 伯14:16 但如今你数点我的脚步,岂不窥察我的罪过吗?

K 伯14:16 For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?

N 伯14:16 Surely then you will count my steps but not keep track of my sin.

 伯14:17 我的过犯被你封在囊中,也缝严了我的罪孽。

K 伯14:17 My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity.

N 伯14:17 My offenses will be sealed up in a bag; you will cover over my sin.

 伯14:18 山崩变为无有,磐石挪开原处。

K 伯14:18 And surely the mountain falling cometh to nought, and the rock is removed out of his place.

N 伯14:18 "But as a mountain erodes and crumbles and as a rock is moved from its place,

 伯14:19 水流消磨石头,所流溢的;洗去地上的尘土;你也照样灭绝人的指望。

K 伯14:19 The waters wear the stones: thou washest away the things which grow out of the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope of man.

N 伯14:19 as water wears away stones and torrents wash away the soil, so you destroy man's hope.

 伯14:20 你攻击人常常得胜,使他去世;你改变他的容貌,叫他往而不回。

K 伯14:20 Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth: thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away.

N 伯14:20 You overpower him once for all, and he is gone; you change his countenance and send him away.

 伯14:21 他儿子得尊荣,他也不知道;降为卑,他也不觉得,

K 伯14:21 His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.

N 伯14:21 If his sons are honored, he does not know it; if they are brought low, he does not see it.

 伯14:22 但知身上疼痛,心中悲哀。”

K 伯14:22 But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn.

N 伯14:22 He feels but the pain of his own body and mourns only for himself."
