约伯记第40章

 伯40:1 耶和华又对约伯说:

K 伯40:1 Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,

N 伯40:1 The LORD said to Job:

 伯40:2 “强辩的岂可与全能者争论吗?与 神辩驳的,可以回答这些吧!”

K 伯40:2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.

N 伯40:2 "Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!"

 伯40:3 于是,约伯回答耶和华说:

K 伯40:3 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

N 伯40:3 Then Job answered the LORD:

 伯40:4 “我是卑贱的!我用什么回答你呢?只好用手捂口。

K 伯40:4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.

N 伯40:4 "I am unworthy--how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.

 伯40:5 我说了一次,再不回答;说了两次,就不再说。”

K 伯40:5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.

N 伯40:5 I spoke once, but I have no answer--twice, but I will say no more."

 伯40:6 于是,耶和华从旋风中回答约伯说:

K 伯40:6 Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

N 伯40:6 Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm:

 伯40:7 “你要如勇士束腰;我问你,你可以指示我。

K 伯40:7 Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

N 伯40:7 "Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.

 伯40:8 你岂可废弃我所拟定的?岂可定我有罪,好显自己为义吗?

K 伯40:8 Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?

N 伯40:8 "Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself?

 伯40:9 你有 神那样的膀臂吗?你能像他发雷声吗?

K 伯40:9 Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

N 伯40:9 Do you have an arm like God's, and can your voice thunder like his?

 伯40:10 你要以荣耀庄严为妆饰,以尊荣威严为衣服;

K 伯40:10 Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.

N 伯40:10 Then adorn yourself with glory and splendor, and clothe yourself in honor and majesty.

 伯40:11 要发出你满溢的怒气,见一切骄傲的人,使他降卑;

K 伯40:11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.

N 伯40:11 Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at every proud man and bring him low,

 伯40:12 见一切骄傲的人,将他制伏。把恶人践踏在本处,

K 伯40:12 Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.

N 伯40:12 look at every proud man and humble him, crush the wicked where they stand.

 伯40:13 将他们一同隐藏在尘土中,把他们的脸蒙蔽在隐密处;

K 伯40:13 Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.

N 伯40:13 Bury them all in the dust together; shroud their faces in the grave.

 伯40:14 我就认你右手能以救自己。

K 伯40:14 Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.

N 伯40:14 Then I myself will admit to you that your own right hand can save you.

 伯40:15 你且观看河马。我造你也造它,它吃草与牛一样。

K 伯40:15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.

N 伯40:15 "Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox.

 伯40:16 它的气力在腰间,能力在肚腹的筋上。

K 伯40:16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.

N 伯40:16 What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly!

 伯40:17 它摇动尾巴如香柏树,它大腿的筋互相联络。

K 伯40:17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

N 伯40:17 His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit.

 伯40:18 它的骨头好像铜管,它的肢体仿佛铁棍。

K 伯40:18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.

N 伯40:18 His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron.

 伯40:19 它在 神所造的物中为首,创造它的给它刀剑。

K 伯40:19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.

N 伯40:19 He ranks first among the works of God, yet his Maker can approach him with his sword.

 伯40:20 诸山给它出食物,也是百兽游玩之处。

K 伯40:20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.

N 伯40:20 The hills bring him their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby.

 伯40:21 它伏在莲叶之下,卧在芦苇隐密处和水洼子里。

K 伯40:21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.

N 伯40:21 Under the lotus plants he lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh.

 伯40:22 莲叶的阴凉遮蔽它;溪旁的柳树环绕它。

K 伯40:22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.

N 伯40:22 The lotuses conceal him in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround him.

 伯40:23 河水泛滥,它不发战;就是约旦河的水涨到它口边,也是安然。

K 伯40:23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.

N 伯40:23 When the river rages, he is not alarmed; he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth.

 伯40:24 在它防备的时候,谁能捉拿它?谁能牢笼它、穿它的鼻子呢?”

K 伯40:24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.

N 伯40:24 Can anyone capture him by the eyes, or trap him and pierce his nose?
