弗3:1 因此，我这为你们外族人的缘故，作了为基督耶稣被囚禁的保罗，为你们祈求──
弗3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles,
弗3:2 想必你们听过 神恩惠的计划，他为你们的缘故赐恩给我，
弗3:2 If that ordering of the grace of God has come to your knowledge, which was given to me for you,
弗3:3 借着启示使我可以知道这奥秘，就像我以前在信中略略提过的。
弗3:3 How by revelation the secret was made clear to me, as I said before in a short letter,
弗3:4 你们读了，就可以知道我深深地明白基督的奥秘。
弗3:4 By the reading of which you will be clear about my knowledge of the secret of Christ;
弗3:5 这奥秘在以前的世代并没有让世人知道，不像现在借着圣灵启示了圣使徒和先知那样。
弗3:5 Which in other generations was not given to the sons of men, but the revelation of it has now been made to his holy Apostles and prophets in the Spirit;
弗3:6 这奥秘就是外族人在基督耶稣里，借着福音可以同作后嗣，同为一体，同蒙应许。
弗3:6 Which is that the Gentiles have a part in the heritage, and in the same body, and in the same hope in Christ through the good news,
弗3:7 我作了福音的仆役，是照着 神的恩赐；这恩赐是按着他大能的作为赐给我的。
弗3:7 Of which I was made a preacher, through that grace of God which was given to me in the measure of the working of his power.
弗3:8 我本来比圣徒中最小的还小， 神还是赐给我这恩典，要我把基督那测不透的丰富传给外族人，
弗3:8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, was this grace given, so that I might make clear to the Gentiles the good news of the unending wealth of Christ:
弗3:9 并且使众人明白那奥秘的救世计划是什么（这奥秘是历代以来隐藏在创造万有的 神里面的），
弗3:9 And make all men see what is the ordering of the secret which from the first has been kept in God who made all things;
弗3:10 为了要使天上执政的和掌权的，现在借着教会都可以知道 神各样的智慧。
弗3:10 So that now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavens might be made clear through the church the wide-shining wisdom of God,
弗3:11 这都是照着 神在我们主基督耶稣里所成就的永恒的旨意。
弗3:11 Which is seen in his eternal purpose in Christ Jesus our Lord:
弗3:12 我们因信基督，就在他里面坦然无惧，满有把握地进到 神面前。
弗3:12 By whom we come near to God without fear through faith in him.
弗3:13 因此，我恳求你们，不要因着我为你们所受的苦难而沮丧，这原是你们的光荣。
弗3:13 For this reason it is my prayer that you may not become feeble because of my troubles for you, which are your glory.
弗3:14 因此，我在父面前屈膝，
弗3:14 For this cause I go down on my knees before the Father,
弗3:15 （天上地上所有的家族都是由他命名的，）
弗3:15 From whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
弗3:16 求他按着他荣耀的丰盛，借着他的灵，用大能使你们内在的人刚强起来，
弗3:16 That in the wealth of his glory he would make you strong with power through his Spirit in your hearts;
弗3:17 使基督借着你们的信，住在你们心里，使你们既然在爱中扎根建基，
弗3:17 So that Christ may have his place in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and based in love,
弗3:18 就能和众圣徒一同领悟基督的爱是多么的长阔高深，
弗3:18 May have strength to see with all the saints how wide and long and high and deep it is,
弗3:19 并且知道他的爱是超过人所能理解的，使你们被充满，得着 神的一切丰盛。
弗3:19 And to have knowledge of the love of Christ which is outside all knowledge, so that you may be made complete as God himself is complete.
弗3:20 愿荣耀归给 神，就是归给那能照着运行在我们里面的大能，充充足足地成就一切，超过我们所求所想的。
弗3:20 Now to him who is able to do in full measure more than all our desires or thoughts, through the power which is working in us,
弗3:21 愿荣耀在教会中和基督耶稣里归给他，直到万代，永世无穷。阿们。
弗3:21 To him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations for ever and ever. So be it.
