来1:1 神在古时候，曾经多次用种种方法，借着先知向我们的祖先说话；
来1:1 In times past the word of God came to our fathers through the prophets, in different parts and in different ways;
来1:2 在这末后的日子，却借着他的儿子向我们说话。 神已经立他作万有的承受者，并且借着他创造了宇宙（“宇宙”或译：“诸世界”或“众世代”）。
来1:2 But now, at the end of these days, it has come to us through his Son, to whom he has given all things for a heritage, and through whom he made the order of the generations;
来1:3 他是 神荣耀的光辉，是 神本质的真象，用自己带有能力的话掌管万有；他作成了洁净罪恶的事，就坐在高天至尊者的右边。
来1:3 Who, being the outshining of his glory, the true image of his substance, supporting all things by the word of his power, having given himself as an offering making clean from sins, took his seat at the right hand of God in heaven;
来1:4 他所承受的名比天使的名更尊贵，所以他远比天使崇高。
来1:4 Having become by so much better than the angels, as the name which is his heritage is more noble than theirs.
来1:5 神曾对哪一个天使说过：“你是我的儿子，我今日生了你”呢？或者说：“我要作他的父亲，他要作我的儿子”呢？
来1:5 To which of the angels did God say at any time, You are my Son, this day I have given you being? or, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son?
来1:6 神差遣长子到世上来的时候，又说：“ 神所有的天使都要拜他。”
来1:6 And again, when he is sending his only Son into the world, he says, Let all the angels of God give him worship.
来1:7 论到天使，说：“ 神用风作他的使者，用火焰作他的仆役。”
来1:7 And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire:
来1:8 但是论到儿子，却说：“ 神啊！你的宝座是永永远远的，你国的令牌，是公平的令牌。
来1:8 But of the Son he says, Your seat of power, O God, is for ever and ever; and the rod of your kingdom is a rod of righteousness.
来1:9 你喜爱公义，恨恶不法，所以， 神，就是你的 神，用喜乐的油膏抹你，胜过膏抹你的同伴。”
来1:9 You have been a lover of righteousness and a hater of evil; and so God, your God, has put the oil of joy on your head more than on the heads of those who are with you.
来1:10 又说：“主啊！你起初立了地的根基，天也是你手的工作。
来1:10 You, Lord, at the first did put the earth on its base, and the heavens are the works of your hands:
来1:11 天地都要毁灭，你却长存；天地都要像衣服一样渐渐残旧，
来1:11 They will come to their end; but you are for ever; they will become old as a robe;
来1:12 你要把天地像外套一样卷起来，天地就像衣服一样被更换；只有你永不改变，你的年数也没有穷尽。”
来1:12 They will be rolled up like a cloth, even like a robe, and they will be changed: but you are the same and your years will have no end.
来1:13 神可曾向哪一个天使说：“你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌作你的脚凳”呢？
来1:13 But of which of the angels has he said at any time, Take your seat at my right hand till I put all those who are against you under your feet?
来1:14 天使不都是服役的灵，奉差遣为那些要承受救恩的人效劳吗？
来1:14 Are they not all helping spirits, who are sent out as servants to those whose heritage will be salvation?
