太1:1 大卫的子孙，亚伯拉罕的后裔，耶稣基督的家谱：
太1:1 The book of the generations of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
太1:2 亚伯拉罕生以撒，以撒生雅各，雅各生犹大和他的兄弟，
太1:2 The son of Abraham was Isaac; and the son of Isaac was Jacob; and the sons of Jacob were Judah and his brothers;
太1:3 他玛给犹大生了法勒斯和谢拉，法勒斯生希斯仑，希斯仑生亚兰，
太1:3 And the sons of Judah were Perez and Zerah by Tamar; and the son of Perez was Hezron; and the son of Hezron was Ram;
太1:4 亚兰生亚米拿达，亚米拿达生拿顺，拿顺生撒门，
太1:4 And the son of Ram was Amminadab; and the son of Amminadab was Nahshon; and the son of Nahshon was Salmon;
太1:5 喇合给撒门生了波阿斯，路得给波阿斯生了俄备得，俄备得生耶西，
太1:5 And the son of Salmon by Rahab was Boaz; and the son of Boaz by Ruth was Obed; and the son of Obed was Jesse;
太1:6 耶西生大卫王。乌利亚的妻子给大卫生了所罗门，
太1:6 And the son of Jesse was David the king; and the son of David was Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah;
太1:7 所罗门生罗波安，罗波安生亚比雅，亚比雅生亚撒，
太1:7 And the son of Solomon was Rehoboam; and the son of Rehoboam was Abijah; and the son of Abijah was Asa;
太1:8 亚撒生约沙法，约沙法生约兰，约兰生乌西雅，
太1:8 And the son of Asa was Jehoshaphat; and the son of Jehoshaphat was Joram; and the son of Joram was Uzziah;
太1:9 乌西雅生约坦，约坦生亚哈斯，亚哈斯生希西家，
太1:9 And the son of Uzziah was Jotham; and the son of Jotham was Ahaz; and the son of Ahaz was Hezekiah;
太1:10 希西家生玛拿西，玛拿西生亚们，亚们生约西亚，
太1:10 And the son of Hezekiah was Manasseh; and the son of Manasseh was Amon; and the son of Amon was Josiah;
太1:11 犹太人被掳到巴比伦的时候，约西亚生耶哥尼雅和他的兄弟。
太1:11 And the sons of Josiah were Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the taking away to Babylon.
太1:12 被掳到巴比伦以后，耶哥尼雅生撒拉铁，撒拉铁生所罗巴伯，
太1:12 And after the taking away to Babylon, Jechoniah had a son Shealtiel; and Shealtiel had Zerubbabel;
太1:13 所罗巴伯生亚比玉，亚比玉生以利亚敬，以利亚敬生亚所，
太1:13 And Zerubbabel had Abiud; and Abiud had Eliakim; and Eliakim had Azor;
太1:14 亚所生撒督，撒督生亚金，亚金生以律，
太1:14 And Azor had Zadok; and Zadok had Achim; and Achim had Eliud;
太1:15 以律生以利亚撒，以利亚撒生马但，马但生雅各，
太1:15 And Eliud had Eleazar; and Eleazar had Matthan; and Matthan had Jacob;
太1:16 雅各生约瑟，就是马利亚的丈夫；那称为基督的耶稣，是马利亚所生的。
太1:16 And the son of Jacob was Joseph the husband of Mary, who gave birth to Jesus, whose name is Christ.
太1:17 这样，从亚伯拉罕到大卫，一共是十四代；从大卫到被掳到巴比伦的时候，也是十四代；从被掳到巴比伦的时候到基督，又是十四代。
太1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David to the taking away to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the taking away to Babylon to the coming of Christ, fourteen generations.
太1:18 耶稣基督的降生是这样的：耶稣的母亲马利亚许配了约瑟，他们还没有成亲，马利亚就从圣灵怀了孕。
太1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was in this way: when his mother Mary was going to be married to Joseph, before they came together the discovery was made that she was with child by the Holy Spirit.
太1:19 她丈夫约瑟是个义人，不愿张扬使她受辱，就打算暗中与她解除婚约。
太1:19 And Joseph, her husband, being an upright man, and not desiring to make her a public example, had a mind to put her away privately.
太1:20 他一直想着这些事，主的使者就在梦中向他显现，说：“大卫的子孙约瑟，只管放胆把你的妻子马利亚迎娶过来，因为她怀的孕是从圣灵来的。
太1:20 But when he was giving thought to these things, an angel of the Lord came to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, have no fear of taking Mary as your wife; because that which is in her body is of the Holy Spirit.
太1:21 她必生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫耶稣，因为他要把自己的子民从罪恶中拯救出来。”
太1:21 And she will give birth to a son; and you will give him the name Jesus; for he will give his people salvation from their sins.
太1:22 这整件事的发生，是要应验主借着先知所说的：
太1:22 Now all this took place so that the word of the Lord by the prophet might come true,
太1:23 “必有童女怀孕生子，他的名要叫以马内利。”以马内利就是“ 神与我们同在”的意思。
太1:23 See, the virgin will be with child, and will give birth to a son, and they will give him the name Immanuel, that is, God with us.
太1:24 约瑟睡醒了，就照着主的使者所吩咐的，把妻子迎娶过来；
太1:24 And Joseph did as the angel of the Lord had said to him, and took her as his wife;
太1:25 只是在孩子出生以前，并没有与她同房。约瑟给孩子起名叫耶稣。
太1:25 And he had no connection with her till she had given birth to a son; and he gave him the name Jesus.
