民1:1 以色列人出埃及地以后，第二年二月一日，耶和华在西奈的旷野，在会幕里对摩西说：
民1:1 And the Lord said to Moses in the waste land of Sinai, in the Tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they came out of the land of Egypt,
民1:2 “你们要把以色列全体会众，按着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，统计人口；所有男丁，都要按着人口登记。
民1:2 Take the full number of the children of Israel, by their families, and by their fathers' houses, every male by name;
民1:3 在以色列中，凡是二十岁以上，能出去打仗的，你和亚伦要按着他们的队伍数点他们。
民1:3 All those of twenty years old and over, who are able to go to war in Israel, are to be numbered by you and Aaron.
民1:4 每一个支派要有一人帮助你们；他们每一个都是他父家的首领。
民1:4 And to give you help, take one man from every tribe, the head of his father's house.
民1:5 以下就是帮助你们的人的名字：属流本支派的，有示丢珥的儿子以利蓿；
民1:5 These are the names of those who are to be your helpers: from Reuben, Elizur, the son of Shedeur;
民1:6 属西缅支派的，有苏利沙代的儿子示路蔑；
民1:6 From Simeon, Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai;
民1:7 属犹大支派的，有亚米拿达的儿子拿顺；
民1:7 From Judah, Nahshon, the son of Amminadab;
民1:8 属以萨迦支派的，有苏押的儿子拿坦业；
民1:8 From Issachar, Nethanel, the son of Zuar;
民1:9 属西布伦支派的，有希伦的儿子以利押；
民1:9 From Zebulun, Eliab, the son of Helon;
民1:10 约瑟的子孙中，属以法莲支派的，有亚米忽的儿子以利沙玛；属玛拿西支派的，有比大蓿的儿子迦玛列；
民1:10 Of the children of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama, the son of Ammihud; from Manasseh, Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur,
民1:11 属便雅悯支派的，有基多尼的儿子亚比但。
民1:11 From Benjamin, Abidan, the son of Gideoni;
民1:12 属但支派的，有亚米沙代的儿子亚希以谢；
民1:12 From Dan, Ahiezer, the son of Ammi-shaddai;
民1:13 属亚设支派的，有俄兰的儿子帕结；
民1:13 From Asher, Pagiel, the son of Ochran;
民1:14 属迦得支派的，有丢珥的儿子以利雅萨；
民1:14 From Gad, Eliasaph, the son of Reuel;
民1:15 属拿弗他利支派的，有以南的儿子亚希拉。
民1:15 From Naphtali, Ahira, the son of Enan.
民1:16 这些人是从会众中选出来，都是他们宗族支派的领袖；他们是以色列的族长。”
民1:16 These are the men named out of all the people, chiefs of their fathers' houses, heads of the tribes of Israel.
民1:17 于是，摩西和亚伦带着这些提名指定的人，
民1:17 And Moses and Aaron took these men, marked out by name;
民1:18 在二月一日召集了全体会众；他们就照着他们的宗族，按照他们的父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上的，都按着人口一一登记了。
民1:18 And they got together all the people on the first day of the second month; and everyone made clear his family and his father's house, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and over.
民1:19 耶和华怎样吩咐摩西，摩西就怎样在西奈的旷野数点了他们。
民1:19 As the Lord had given orders to Moses, so they were numbered by him in the waste place of Sinai.
民1:20 以色列的长子，流本子孙的后代，照着宗族、父家，根据人名数目，按着人口，二十岁以上，能出去打仗的男丁，都登记了；
民1:20 The generations of the sons of Reuben, the oldest son of Israel, were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over, who was able to go to war;
民1:21 流本支派被数点的，共有四万六千五百人。
民1:21 Forty-six thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Reuben were numbered.
民1:22 西缅子孙的后代，照着宗族、父家，根据人名数目，按着人口，二十岁以上，能出去打仗的男丁，都登记了；
民1:22 The generations of the sons of Simeon were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over, who was able to go to war;
民1:23 西缅支派被数点的，共有五万九千三百人。
民1:23 Fifty-nine thousand, three hundred of the tribe of Simeon were numbered.
民1:24 迦得子孙的后代，照着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:24 The generations of the sons of Gad were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
民1:25 迦得支派被数点的，共有四万五千六百五十人。
民1:25 Forty-five thousand, six hundred and fifty of the tribe of Gad were numbered.
民1:26 犹大子孙的后代，照着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:26 The generations of the sons of Judah were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
民1:27 犹大支派被数点的，共有七万四千六百人。
民1:27 Seventy-four thousand, six hundred of the tribe of Judah were numbered.
民1:28 以萨迦子孙的后代，照着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:28 The generations of the sons of Issachar were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
民1:29 以萨迦支派被数点的，共有五万四千四百人。
民1:29 Fifty-four thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Issachar were numbered.
民1:30 西布伦子孙的后代，照着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:30 The generations of the sons of Zebulun were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
民1:31 西布伦支派被数点的，共有五万七千四百人。
民1:31 Fifty-seven thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Zebulun were numbered.
民1:32 约瑟的儿子，以法莲子孙的后代，照着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:32 The generations of the sons of Joseph were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
民1:33 以法莲支派被数点的，共有四万零五百人。
民1:33 Forty thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Ephraim were numbered.
民1:34 玛拿西子孙的后代，照着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:34 The generations of the sons of Manasseh were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
民1:35 玛拿西支派被数点的，共有三万二千二百人。
民1:35 Thirty-two thousand, two hundred of the tribe of Manasseh were numbered.
民1:36 便雅悯子孙的后代，照着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:36 The generations of the sons of Benjamin were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
民1:37 便雅悯支派被数点的，共有三万五千四百人。
民1:37 Thirty-five thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Benjamin were numbered.
民1:38 但子孙的后代，照着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:38 The generations of the sons of Dan were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years and over who was able to go to war;
民1:39 但支派被数点的，共有六万二千七百人。
民1:39 Sixty-two thousand, seven hundred of the tribe of Dan were numbered.
民1:40 亚设子孙的后代，照着宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:40 The generations of the sons of Asher were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
民1:41 亚设支派被数点的，共有四万一千五百人。
民1:41 Forty-one thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Asher were numbered.
民1:42 拿弗他利子孙的后代，照着他们的宗族、父家，根据人名数目，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登记了；
民1:42 The generations of the sons of Naphtali were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;
民1:43 拿弗他利支派被数点的，共有五万三千四百人。
民1:43 Fifty-three thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Naphtali were numbered.
民1:44 以上就是被数点的人数，是摩西和亚伦，以及以色列的首领十二人（每父家一人）所数点的。
民1:44 These are they who were numbered by Moses and Aaron and by the twelve chiefs of Israel, one from every tribe.
民1:45 这样，在以色列中，按着父家，二十岁以上，凡是能出去打仗的以色列人，都登记了；
民1:45 So all those who were numbered of the children of Israel, by their families, all those of twenty years old and over who were able to go to war,
民1:46 被数点的，共有六十万零三千五百五十人。
民1:46 Were six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty.
民1:47 只有利未人没有按着他们家族的支派，数点在其中。
民1:47 But the Levites, of the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.
民1:48 因为耶和华曾对摩西说：
民1:48 For the Lord said to Moses,
民1:49 “只有利未支派，你不可数点，也不可把他们的总数列入以色列人中。
民1:49 Only the tribe of Levi is not to be numbered among the children of Israel,
民1:50 只要派利未人管理法柜的帐幕，和其中的一切器具，以及一切属于帐幕的事物；他们要抬帐幕和其中的一切器具；他们要办理帐幕的事，在帐幕四周安营。
民1:50 But to them you are to give the care of the Tent of meeting with its vessels and everything in it: they are to take up the Tent, and be responsible for everything to do with it, and put up their tents round it.
民1:51 帐幕要起行的时候，利未人要把它拆卸下来；帐幕要支搭的时候，利未人要把它竖立起来；如果有外人走近，必须处死。
民1:51 And when the Tent of meeting goes forward, the Levites are to take it down; and when it is to be put up, they are to do it: any strange person who comes near it is to be put to death.
民1:52 以色列人安营，要依照他们的队伍，各归本营，各归本旗。
民1:52 The children of Israel are to put up their tents, every man in his tent-circle round his flag.
民1:53 但利未人要在法柜帐幕的四周安营，免得 神的忿怒临到以色列的会众；利未人要负看守法柜的帐幕的责任。”
民1:53 But the tents of the Levites are to be round the Tent of meeting, so that wrath may not come on the children of Israel: the Tent of meeting is to be in the care of the Levites.
民1:54 以色列人就这样行了，耶和华怎样吩咐摩西，他们就怎样行。
民1:54 So the children of Israel did as the Lord had given orders to Moses.
