民36:1 约瑟后裔的家族中，有玛拿西的孙子、玛吉的儿子基列的子孙，他们族中的首领都前来，在摩西面前，在各家族作首领的领袖面前，和在以色列人面前说：
民36:1 Now the heads of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came to Moses, the chiefs and the heads of families of the children of Israel being present,
民36:2 “耶和华曾经吩咐我主要凭抽签把地分给以色列人为业；我主也受了耶和华的吩咐，要把我们兄弟西罗非哈的产业分给他的众女儿。
民36:2 And said, The Lord gave orders to my lord to make distribution of the land as their heritage to the children of Israel: and my lord was ordered by the Lord to give the heritage of Zelophehad, our brother, to his daughters.
民36:3 但是，如果她们嫁给以色列中别的支派的人，她们的产业就必从我们祖宗的产业中被取去，加在他们丈夫支派的产业上；这样，我们抽签所得的产业就失去了。
民36:3 Now if they get married to any of the sons of other tribes of the children of Israel, then their property will be taken away from the heritage of our fathers, and become part of the heritage of the tribe into which they get married: and their heritage will be taken away from the heritage of our tribe.
民36:4 到了以色列人的禧年，她们的产业就要加在她们丈夫支派的产业上；这样，她们的产业就要从我们祖宗支派的产业中被拿去了。”
民36:4 And at the time of the Jubilee of the children of Israel, their property will be joined to the heritage of the tribe of which they are part and will be taken away from the heritage of the tribe of our fathers.
民36:5 摩西照着耶和华的话，吩咐以色列说：“约瑟支派的人说得对。
民36:5 So by the direction of the Lord, Moses gave orders to the children of Israel, saying, What the tribe of the sons of Joseph have said is right.
民36:6 论到西罗非哈的众女儿，耶和华吩咐的话是这样：‘她们可以随意嫁自己喜欢的人，但是，只能嫁给同族同支派的人作妻子。
民36:6 This is the order of the Lord about the daughters of Zelophehad: The Lord says, Let them take as their husbands whoever is most pleasing to them, but only among the family of their father's tribe.
民36:7 这样，以色列人的产业，就不会从一个支派转到另一个支派去；因为以色列人要各自守住自己祖宗支派的产业。
民36:7 And so no property will be handed from tribe to tribe among the children of Israel; but every one of the children of Israel will keep the heritage of his father's tribe.
民36:8 从以色列支派中得了产业的女子，要嫁给自己祖宗支派的人作妻子，好使以色列人可以各自承受自己祖宗的产业。
民36:8 And every daughter owning property in any tribe of the children of Israel is to be married to one of the family of her father's tribe, so that every man of the children of Israel may keep the heritage of his fathers.
民36:9 这样，以色列人的产业，就不会从一个支派转到另一个支派去；因为以色列人的支派要各自守住自己的产业。’”
民36:9 And no property will be handed from one tribe to another, but every tribe of the children of Israel will keep its heritage.
民36:10 耶和华怎样吩咐摩西，西罗非哈的众女儿就怎样行。
民36:10 So the daughters of Zelophehad did as the Lord gave orders to Moses:
民36:11 西罗非哈的女儿玛拉、得撒、曷拉、密迦、挪阿，都嫁给了自己叔伯的儿子作妻子。
民36:11 For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, took as their husbands the sons of their father's brothers:
民36:12 她们嫁给了约瑟的儿子玛拿西子孙家族的人作妻子；她们的产业仍然留在自己的支派中。
民36:12 And were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh, the son of Joseph, and their property was kept in the tribe of their father's family
民36:13 这是耶和华在耶利哥对面，约旦河边的摩押平原，借着摩西向以色列人吩咐的命令和典章。
民36:13 These are the laws and the orders which the Lord gave to the children of Israel by Moses, in the lowlands of Moab by Jordan at Jericho.
