民31:1 耶和华对摩西说：
民31:1 Then the Lord said to Moses,
民31:2 “你要在米甸人身上报以色列人的仇，然后要归到你本族那里去。”
民31:2 Give the Midianites punishment for the wrong they did to the children of Israel: and after that you will go to rest with your people.
民31:3 摩西对人民说：“要从你们中间使一些人武装起来去作战，攻击米甸人，好在米甸人身上为耶和华报仇。
民31:3 So Moses said to the people, Let men from among you be armed for war to put into effect against Midian the Lord's punishment on them.
民31:4 你们要从以色列众支派中每支派打发一千人去打仗。”
民31:4 From every tribe of Israel send a thousand to the war.
民31:5 于是从以色列千万人中，每支派选出一千人，共有一万二千人，都武装起来去打仗。
民31:5 So from the thousands of Israel a thousand were taken from every tribe, twelve thousand men armed for war.
民31:6 摩西就打发每支派的一千人去打仗，并且派遣以利亚撒祭司的儿子非尼哈与他们一同去，非尼哈手里拿着圣所的器皿和吹大声的号筒。
民31:6 And Moses sent them out to war, a thousand from every tribe, and with them Phinehas, the son of Eleazar the priest, taking in his hands the vessels of the holy place and the horns for sounding the note of war.
民31:7 他们就照着耶和华吩咐摩西的，去与米甸人作战，杀死了所有的男人。
民31:7 And they made war on Midian, as the Lord gave orders to Moses; and they put to death every male.
民31:8 在那些被杀的人以外，还杀了米甸的五个王，就是以未、利金、苏珥、户珥和利巴；又用刀杀了比珥的儿子巴兰。
民31:8 They put the kings of Midian to death with the rest, Evi and Reken and Zur and Hur and Reba, the five kings of Midian: and Balaam, the son of Beor, they put to death with the sword.
民31:9 以色列人掳了米甸人的妇女、孩子；又掳掠了他们所有的牲畜、羊群和财物；
民31:9 The women of Midian with their little ones the children of Israel took prisoner; and all their cattle and flocks and all their goods they took for themselves;
民31:10 并用火烧了他们所住地方的一切城市和营寨；
民31:10 And after burning all their towns and all their tent-circles,
民31:11 把一切夺来的和掳掠的，连人带牲畜都带走；
民31:11 They went away with the goods they had taken, man and beast.
民31:12 他们把俘掳的人和掳来的，以及夺来的东西，都带到摩押平原，约旦河边，和耶利哥相对的营地那里，交给摩西和以利亚撒祭司，以及以色列的会众。
民31:12 And the prisoners and the goods and everything they had taken, they took to Moses and Eleazar the priest and the people of Israel, to the tent-circle in the lowlands of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
民31:13 摩西和以利亚撒祭司，以及会众所有的领袖，都出到营外迎接他们。
民31:13 Then Moses and Eleazar the priest and the chiefs of the people went out to them before they had come into the tent-circle.
民31:14 摩西对作战回来的军官，就是对千夫长和百夫长发怒。
民31:14 And Moses was angry with the chiefs of the army, the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds who had come back from the war.
民31:15 摩西对他们说：“你们让这些妇女存活吗？
民31:15 And Moses said to them, Why have you kept all the women safe?
民31:16 看哪，这些妇女因巴兰的计谋，使以色列人在毗珥的事上，得罪耶和华，以致瘟疫临到耶和华的会众身上。
民31:16 It was these who, moved by Balaam, were the cause of Israel's sin against the Lord in the question of Peor, because of which disease came on the people of the Lord.
民31:17 现在你们要把所有的男孩都杀了，也要杀死所有与男人发生过关系的妇人。
民31:17 So now put every male child to death, and every woman who has had sex relations with a man.
民31:18 但女孩子中，没有与男人发生过关系的，你们都可以让她们活着。
民31:18 But all the female children who have had no sex relations with men, you may keep for yourselves.
民31:19 你们要在营外驻扎七天，杀过人的和摸过死尸的，第三日和第七日都要洁净自己，你们和你们掳来的人都要这样行。
民31:19 You yourselves will have to keep outside the tent-circle for seven days, anyone of you who has put any person to death or come near a dead body; and on the third day and on the seventh day make yourselves and your prisoners clean.
民31:20 你们也要洁净一切衣服、皮具、山羊毛织的物和木器。”
民31:20 And every bit of clothing, and anything made of leather or goats' hair or wood, you are to make clean.
民31:21 以利亚撒祭司对打仗回来的兵丁说：“这是耶和华吩咐摩西的律例：
民31:21 Then Eleazar the priest said to the men of war who had been to the fight, This is the rule of the law which the Lord has given to Moses:
民31:22 金、银、铜、铁、锡、铅，
民31:22 But gold and silver and brass and iron and tin and lead,
民31:23 能够经火的东西，你们都要使它经火，就算是洁净了，但还要用除污水洁净它；不能经火的，你们要使它经过水。
民31:23 And anything which may be heated, is to go through the fire and be made clean; but in addition it is to be put in the water of cleaning: and anything which may not go through the fire is to be put in the water.
民31:24 第七日，你们要洗衣服，就为洁净；然后才可以进营。”
民31:24 And on the seventh day, after washing your clothing, you will be clean, and then you may come into the tent-circle.
民31:25 耶和华对摩西说：
民31:25 And the Lord said to Moses,
民31:26 “你和以利亚撒祭司，以及会众的各族长，要计算俘掳的人和掠得的牲畜的总数。
民31:26 Get an account of everything which was taken in the war, of man and of beast, you and Eleazar the priest and the heads of families of the people:
民31:27 你要把掠夺得的分为两半，一半给出去打仗的人，一半给全体会众。
民31:27 And let division be made of it into two parts, one for the men of war who went out to the fight, and one for all the people:
民31:28 你又要从出去打仗的人所得的，无论是人、牛、驴，或羊群之中，抽出五百分之一作贡物奉给耶和华；
民31:28 And from the men of war who went out let there be offered to the Lord one out of every five hundred, from the persons, and from the oxen and asses and sheep:
民31:29 你们要从他们那一半中抽出，交给以利亚撒祭司，作耶和华的举祭。
民31:29 Take this from their part and give it to Eleazar the priest as an offering to be lifted up to the Lord.
民31:30 从以色列人那一半中，无论是人、牛、驴、羊群，或是各样牲畜，都要抽出五十分之一，交给负责看守耶和华帐幕的利未人。”
民31:30 And from the part given to the children of Israel, take one out of every fifty, from the persons, and from the oxen and asses and sheep, and give it to the Levites who have the care of the House of the Lord.
民31:31 于是，摩西和以利亚撒祭司照着耶和华吩咐摩西的行了。
民31:31 So Eleazar and Moses did as the Lord had given orders to Moses.
民31:32 掠得的东西，就是打仗的人所掳掠剩下来的，共有羊六十七万五千只，
民31:32 Now the beasts taken, in addition to what the fighting-men took for themselves, were six hundred and seventy-five thousand sheep,
民31:33 牛七万二千头，
民31:33 And seventy-two thousand oxen,
民31:34 驴六万一千头，
民31:34 And sixty-one thousand asses;
民31:35 没有与男人发生过关系的妇人三万二千人。
民31:35 And thirty-two thousand persons, that is, women who had never had sex relations with a man.
民31:36 出去打仗的人的分，就是他们所得的那一半，羊共有三十三万七千五百只；
民31:36 And the half given as their part to the men who went to the war, was three hundred and thirty-seven thousand, five hundred sheep,
民31:37 这些羊群中，归耶和华作贡物的，有六百七十五只。
民31:37 Of which the Lord's part was six hundred and seventy-five.
民31:38 牛三万六千头，归耶和华为贡物的，有七十二只。
民31:38 The number of oxen was thirty-six thousand, of which the Lord's part was seventy-two;
民31:39 驴三万零五百头，归耶和华为贡物的有六十一匹。
民31:39 The number of asses was thirty thousand, five hundred, of which the Lord's part was sixty-one.
民31:40 人口一万六千，归给耶和华作贡物的，有三十二人。
民31:40 And the number of persons was sixteen thousand, of which the Lord's part was thirty-two persons.
民31:41 摩西照着耶和华吩咐他的，把贡物，就是耶和华的举祭，交给以利亚撒祭司。
民31:41 And Moses gave the Lord's part, lifted up as an offering, to Eleazar the priest, as the Lord had given orders to Moses.
民31:42 以色列人所得的那一半，就是摩西从打仗的人取来分给他们的
民31:42 And from the half given to the children of Israel, which Moses had kept separate from that given to the fighting-men,
民31:43 （属于会众的那一半，有羊三十三万七千五百只，
民31:43 (Now the people's half was three hundred and thirty-seven thousand, five hundred sheep,
民31:44 牛三万六千头，
民31:44 And thirty-six thousand oxen,
民31:45 驴三万零五百头，
民31:45 And thirty thousand, five hundred asses,
民31:46 人口一万六千）；
民31:46 And sixteen thousand persons;)
民31:47 摩西照着耶和华吩咐他的，从属于以色列人的那一半，无论是人口或是牲畜，都抽出五十分之一，交给负责看守耶和华帐幕的利未人。
民31:47 Even from the children of Israel's half, Moses took one out of every fifty, men and beasts, and gave them to the Levites who had the care of the House of the Lord; as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
民31:48 统领万军的军长、千夫长和百夫长，都来见摩西，
民31:48 Then the men in authority over the thousands of the army, the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, came to Moses,
民31:49 对摩西说：“你仆人手下作战的士兵，已经计算总数，没有缺少一人。
民31:49 And said to him, Your servants have taken note of the number of all the fighting-men under our orders, and every one is present;
民31:50 现在我们把耶和华的供物，都送来了，就是我们各人所得的金器、脚链子、镯子、打印戒指、耳环、手钏，好在耶和华面前，为我们自己赎罪。”
民31:50 And we have here an offering for the Lord from what every man took in the war, ornaments of gold, leg-chains and arm-rings, finger-rings, ear-rings, and neck-ornaments, to make our souls free from sin before the Lord.
民31:51 摩西和以利亚撒祭司就收了他们的金子，就是各样金子做成的器皿。
民31:51 So Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold from them, even all the worked ornaments.
民31:52 千夫长和百夫长献给耶和华为举祭的一切金子，共有两百多公斤。
民31:52 And the gold which the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds gave, as an offering to be lifted up before the Lord, came to sixteen thousand, seven hundred and fifty shekels.
民31:53 士兵都各自夺取了财物。
民31:53 (For every man of the army had taken goods for himself in the war.)
民31:54 摩西和以利亚撒祭司就从千夫长和百夫长手中收了金子，把它带进会幕里去，在耶和华面前作以色列人的记念。
民31:54 Then Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold given by the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, and took it into the Tent of meeting, to be a sign in memory of the children of Israel before the Lord.
