太5:1 耶稣看见群众，就上了山；他坐下之后，门徒来到他跟前，
太5:1 And seeing great masses of people he went up into the mountain; and when he was seated his disciples came to him.
太5:2 他就开口教训他们：
太5:2 And with these words he gave them teaching, saying,
太5:3 “心灵贫乏的人有福了，因为天国是他们的。
太5:3 Happy are the poor in spirit: for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.
太5:4 哀痛的人有福了，因为他们必得安慰。
太5:4 Happy are those who are sad: for they will be comforted.
太5:5 温柔的人有福了，因为他们必承受地土。
太5:5 Happy are the gentle: for the earth will be their heritage.
太5:6 爱慕公义如饥如渴的人有福了，因为他们必得饱足。
太5:6 Happy are those whose heart's desire is for righteousness: for they will have their desire.
太5:7 怜悯人的人有福了，因为他们必蒙怜悯。
太5:7 Happy are those who have mercy: for they will be given mercy.
太5:8 内心清洁的人有福了，因为他们必看见 神。
太5:8 Happy are the clean in heart: for they will see God.
太5:9 使人和平的人有福了，因为他们必称为 神的儿子。
太5:9 Happy are the peacemakers: for they will be named sons of God.
太5:10 为义遭受迫害的人有福了，因为天国是他们的。
太5:10 Happy are those who are attacked on account of righteousness: for the kingdom of heaven will be theirs.
太5:11 人若因我的缘故辱骂你们，迫害你们，并且捏造各样坏话毁谤你们，你们就有福了。
太5:11 Happy are you when men give you a bad name, and are cruel to you, and say all evil things against you falsely, because of me.
太5:12 你们应该欢喜快乐，因为你们在天上的赏赐是大的；在你们以前的先知，他们也曾这样迫害。
太5:12 Be glad and full of joy; for great is your reward in heaven: for so were the prophets attacked who were before you.
太5:13 “你们是地上的盐；如果盐失了味，怎能使它再咸呢？结果毫无用处，唯有丢在外面任人践踏。
太5:13 You are the salt of the earth; but if its taste goes from the salt, how will you make it salt again? it is then good for nothing but to be put out and crushed under foot by men.
太5:14 你们是世上的光。建在山上的城是无法隐藏的；
太5:14 You are the light of the world. A town put on a hill may be seen by all.
太5:15 人点了灯，不会放在量器底下，而是放在灯台上，就照亮一家人。
太5:15 And a burning light is not put under a vessel, but on its table; so that its rays may be shining on all who are in the house.
太5:16 照样，你们的光也应当照在人前，让他们看见你们的好行为，又颂赞你们在天上的父。
太5:16 Even so let your light be shining before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
太5:17 “你们不要以为我来是要废除律法和先知；我来不是要废除，而是要完成。
太5:17 Let there be no thought that I have come to put an end to the law or the prophets. I have not come for destruction, but to make complete.
太5:18 我实在告诉你们，就算天地过去，律法的一点一画也不会废去，全部都要成就。
太5:18 Truly I say to you, Till heaven and earth come to an end, not the smallest letter or part of a letter will in any way be taken from the law, till all things are done.
太5:19 因此，无论谁废除诫命中最小的一条，又这样教导人，他在天国中必称为最小的；但若有人遵行这些诫命，并且教导人遵行，他在天国中必称为大。
太5:19 Whoever then goes against the smallest of these laws, teaching men to do the same, will be named least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who keeps the laws, teaching others to keep them, will be named great in the kingdom of heaven.
太5:20 我告诉你们，你们的义若不胜过经学家和法利赛人的义，就必不能进天国。
太5:20 For I say to you, If your righteousness is not greater than the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never go into the kingdom of heaven.
太5:21 “你们听过有这样吩咐古人的话：‘不可杀人，杀人的必被判罪。’
太5:21 You have knowledge that it was said in old times, You may not put to death; and, Whoever puts to death will be in danger of being judged:
太5:22 可是我告诉你们，凡是向弟兄发怒的，必被判罪。人若说弟兄是‘拉加’，必被公议会审判；人若说弟兄是‘摩利’，必难逃地狱的火。
太5:22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be in danger of being judged; and he who says to his brother, Raca, will be in danger from the Sanhedrin; and whoever says, You foolish one, will be in danger of the hell of fire.
太5:23 所以你在祭坛上献供物的时候，如果在那里想起你的弟兄对你不满，
太5:23 If then you are making an offering at the altar and there it comes to your mind that your brother has something against you,
太5:24 就当在坛前放下供物，先去与弟兄和好，然后才来献你的供物。
太5:24 While your offering is still before the altar, first go and make peace with your brother, then come and make your offering.
太5:25 趁着你和你的对头还在路上的时候，要赶快与他和解，免得他抓你去见法官，法官把你交给狱警，关在监里。
太5:25 Come to an agreement quickly with him who has a cause against you at law, while you are with him on the way, for fear that he may give you up to the judge and the judge may give you to the police and you may be put into prison.
太5:26 我实在告诉你，除非你还清最后一分钱，否则决不能从那里出来。
太5:26 Truly I say to you, You will not come out from there till you have made payment of the very last farthing.
太5:27 “你们听过有这样的吩咐：‘不可奸淫。’
太5:27 You have knowledge that it was said, You may not have connection with another man's wife:
太5:28 可是我告诉你们，凡是看见妇女就动淫念的，心里已经犯了奸淫。
太5:28 But I say to you that everyone whose eyes are turned on a woman with desire has had connection with her in his heart.
太5:29 如果你的右眼使你犯罪，就把它挖出来丢掉；宁可失去身体的一部分，胜过全身被丢进地狱里。
太5:29 And if your right eye is a cause of trouble to you, take it out and put it away from you; because it is better to undergo the loss of one part, than for all your body to go into hell.
太5:30 如果你的右手使你犯罪，就把它砍下来丢掉；宁可失去身体的一部分，胜过全身进到地狱里去。
太5:30 And if your right hand is a cause of trouble to you, let it be cut off and put it away from you; because it is better to undergo the loss of one part, than for all your body to go into hell.
太5:31 “又有这样的吩咐：‘人若休妻，就应当给她休书。’
太5:31 Again, it was said, Whoever puts away his wife has to give her a statement in writing for this purpose:
太5:32 可是我告诉你们，凡休妻的，如果不是因她不贞，就是促使她犯奸淫；无论谁娶了被休的妇人，也就是犯奸淫了。
太5:32 But I say to you that everyone who puts away his wife for any other cause but the loss of her virtue, makes her false to her husband; and whoever takes her as his wife after she is put away, is no true husband to her.
太5:33 “你们又听过有这样吩咐古人的话：‘不可背约，向主许的愿都要偿还。’
太5:33 Again, you have knowledge that it was said in old times, Do not take false oaths, but give effect to your oaths to the Lord:
太5:34 可是我告诉你们，总不可发誓，不可指着天发誓，因为天是 神的宝座；
太5:34 But I say to you, Take no oaths at all: not by the heaven, because it is the seat of God;
太5:35 不可指着地发誓，因为地是 神的脚凳；不可指着耶路撒冷发誓，因为它是大君王的京城；
太5:35 Or by the earth, because it is the resting-place for his foot; or by Jerusalem, because it is the town of the great King.
太5:36 也不可指着自己的头发誓，因为你不能使一根头发变白或变黑。
太5:36 You may not take an oath by your head, because you are not able to make one hair white or black.
太5:37 你们的话，是就说‘是’，不是就说‘不是’；如果再多说，就是出于那恶者。
太5:37 But let your words be simply, Yes or No: and whatever is more than these is of the Evil One.
太5:38 “你们听过有这样的吩咐：‘以眼还眼，以牙还牙。’
太5:38 You have knowledge that it was said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
太5:39 可是我告诉你们，不要与恶人对抗，有人打你的右脸，把另一边也转过来让他打；
太5:39 But I say to you, Do not make use of force against an evil man; but to him who gives you a blow on the right side of your face let the left be turned.
太5:40 有人要告你，想拿你的衬衫，就连外套也让他拿去。
太5:40 And if any man goes to law with you and takes away your coat, do not keep back your robe from him.
太5:41 有人要强迫你走一里路，就陪他走两里。
太5:41 And whoever makes you go one mile, go with him two.
太5:42 有求你的，就给他；想借贷的，也不可拒绝。
太5:42 Give to him who comes with a request, and keep not your property from him who would for a time make use of it.
太5:43 “你们听过有这样的吩咐：‘当爱你的邻舍，恨你的仇敌。’
太5:43 You have knowledge that it was said, Have love for your neighbour, and hate for him who is against you:
太5:44 可是我告诉你们，当爱你们的仇敌，为迫害你们的祈祷，
太5:44 But I say to you, Have love for those who are against you, and make prayer for those who are cruel to you;
太5:45 好叫你们成为你们天父的儿子；因为他使太阳照恶人，也照好人；降雨给义人，也给不义的人。
太5:45 So that you may be the sons of your Father in heaven; for his sun gives light to the evil and to the good, and he sends rain on the upright man and on the sinner.
太5:46 如果你们只爱那些爱你们的人，有什么赏赐呢？税吏不也是这样作吗？
太5:46 For if you have love for those who have love for you, what credit is it to you? do not the tax-farmers the same?
太5:47 如果你们单问候你们的弟兄，有什么特别呢？教外人不也是这样作吗？
太5:47 And if you say, Good day, to your brothers only, what do you do more than others? do not even the Gentiles the same?
太5:48 所以你们要完全，正如你们的天父是完全的。”
太5:48 Be then complete in righteousness, even as your Father in heaven is complete.
