提前5:1 不要严厉责备老年人，却要劝他好像劝父亲；劝青年人好像劝弟兄；
提前5:1 Do not say sharp words to one who has authority in the church, but let your talk be as to a father, and to the younger men as to brothers:
提前5:2 劝年老的妇人好像劝母亲；存着纯洁的心，劝青年女子好像劝姊妹。
提前5:2 To the older women as to mothers, to the younger as to sisters, with a clean heart.
提前5:3 要敬重供养那些无依无靠的寡妇。
提前5:3 Give honour to widows who are truly widows.
提前5:4 寡妇若有儿孙，就应当让儿孙先在自己家里学习孝道，报答亲恩，因为这在 神面前是蒙悦纳的。
提前5:4 But if any widow has children or children's children, let these see that it is right to take care of their family and their fathers and mothers: for this is pleasing in the eyes of God.
提前5:5 那无依无靠独居的寡妇，她们仰望 神，昼夜不住地祈求祷告。
提前5:5 Now she who is truly a widow and without family puts her hope in God, giving herself to prayer day and night.
提前5:6 寡妇若奢侈宴乐，虽然活着也是死的。
提前5:6 But she who gives herself to pleasure is dead while she is living.
提前5:7 这些事你要嘱咐她们，使她们无可指摘。
提前5:7 Give orders to this effect, so that no evil may be said of anyone.
提前5:8 人若连自己的家人也不供养，就是背弃信仰，比不信的人还不如。
提前5:8 If anyone has no care for his family and those in his house, he is false to the faith, and is worse than one who has no faith.
提前5:9 寡妇登记，年纪必须到达六十岁，只作过一个丈夫的妻子，
提前5:9 Let no woman be numbered among the widows who is under sixty years old, and only if she has been the wife of one man,
提前5:10 并且要有善行的见证：就如养育儿女，接待客旅，替圣徒洗脚，救济困苦的人，尽力行各样的善事等。
提前5:10 And if witness is given of her good works; if she has had the care of children, if she has been kind to travellers, washing the feet of the saints, helping those who are in trouble, giving herself to good works.
提前5:11 至于年轻的寡妇，不要给她们登记，因为她们一旦情欲冲动而背弃基督的时候，就想结婚。
提前5:11 But to the younger widows say No: for when their love is turned away from Christ, they have a desire to be married;
提前5:12 她们被定罪，是因为丢弃了起初的信誓。
提前5:12 And they are judged because they have been false to their first faith;
提前5:13 同时，她们懒惰惯了，挨家闲游；不但懒惰，而且好说闲话，好管闲事，说不该说的话。
提前5:13 And they get into the way of doing no work, going about from house to house; and not only doing no work, but talking foolishly, being over-interested in the business of others, saying things which they have no right to say.
提前5:14 因此，我愿年轻的寡妇结婚，生儿育女，管理家务，不给敌人有辱骂的机会；
提前5:14 So it is my desire that the younger widows may be married and have children, controlling their families, and giving the Evil One no chance to say anything against them,
提前5:15 因为有些人已经转去跟从撒但了。
提前5:15 For even now some are turned away to Satan.
提前5:16 如果信主的妇女家中有寡妇，她就应该救济她们，不要让教会受累。这样，教会就可以救济那些无依无靠的寡妇了。
提前5:16 If any woman of the faith has relations who are widows, let her give them help, so that the care of them does not come on the church, and so it may give help to those who are truly widowed.
提前5:17 那些善于治理教会的长老，尤其是那些在讲道和教导上劳苦的长老，你们应当看他们是配受加倍的敬重和供奉的。
提前5:17 Let rulers whose rule is good be honoured twice over, specially those whose work is preaching and teaching.
提前5:18 因为经上说：“牛踹谷的时候，不可笼住牠的嘴。”又说：“作工的配得工价。”
提前5:18 For the Writings say, It is not right to keep the ox from taking the grain when he is crushing it. And, The worker has a right to his reward.
提前5:19 控诉长老的事，除非有两三个证人，否则不要受理。
提前5:19 Do not take as true any statement made against one in authority, but only if two or three give witness to it.
提前5:20 常常犯罪的，你要当众责备他们，使其余的人也有所惧怕。
提前5:20 Say sharp words to sinners when all are present, so that the rest may be in fear.
提前5:21 我在 神和基督耶稣以及蒙拣选的天使面前叮嘱你，要毫无成见地持守这些话，行事也不要偏心。
提前5:21 I give you orders before God and Christ Jesus and the angels of God's selection, to keep these orders without giving thought to one side more than another.
提前5:22 不要匆匆忙忙地替别人按手，也不要在别人的罪上有分，要保守自己清洁。
提前5:22 Do not put hands on any man without thought, and have no part in other men's sins: keep yourself clean.
提前5:23 因为你的胃不好，而且身体常常软弱，不要单单喝水，可以稍微用点酒。
提前5:23 Do not take only water as your drink, but take a little wine for the good of your stomach, and because you are frequently ill.
提前5:24 有些人的罪是明显的，就先受审判；有些人的罪是后来才显露出来的。
提前5:24 The sins of some men are clearly seen, going before them to be judged; but with others, their sins go after them.
提前5:25 照样，善行也是明显的，就算不明显，也不能隐藏。
提前5:25 In the same way, there are good works which are clearly seen; and those which are not so, may not be kept secret.
