士4:1 以笏死后，以色列人又行了耶和华看为恶的事。
士4:1 And the children of Israel again did evil in the eyes of the Lord when Ehud was dead.
士4:2 因此耶和华把他们交在迦南王耶宾手中，耶宾那时在夏琐作王；他的军长西西拉，住在夏罗设歌印。
士4:2 And the Lord gave them up into the hands of Jabin, king of Canaan, who was ruling in Hazor; the captain of his army was Sisera, who was living in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
士4:3 耶宾王有铁车九百辆，他极力欺压以色列人二十年，以色列人就哀求耶和华。
士4:3 Then the children of Israel made prayer to the Lord; for he had nine hundred iron war-carriages, and for twenty years he was very cruel to the children of Israel.
士4:4 有一位女先知底波拉，是拉比多的妻子，那时正治理以色列人。
士4:4 Now Deborah, a woman prophet, the wife of Lapidoth, was judge of Israel at that time.
士4:5 她常坐在以法莲山地，拉玛和伯特利之间那棵底波拉棕树下；以色列人都上到她那里去听判断。
士4:5 (And she had her seat under the palm-tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beth-el in the hill-country of Ephraim; and the children of Israel came up to her to be judged.)
士4:6 底波拉派人去从拿弗他利的基低斯，把亚比挪庵的儿子巴拉召了来，对他说：“耶和华以色列的 神不是曾吩咐你说：‘你去向他泊山进军，从拿弗他利人和西布伦人中率领一万人与你同去吗？
士4:6 And she sent for Barak, the son of Abinoam, from Kedesh-naphtali, and said to him, Has not the Lord, the God of Israel, given orders saying, Go and get your force into line in Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
士4:7 我必引耶宾的军长西西拉，和他的车辆与全军，到基顺河往你那里去；我必把他们交在你手里。’”
士4:7 And I will make Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his war-carriages and his forces, come against you at the river Kishon, where I will give him into your hands.
士4:8 巴拉对她说：“如果你与我同去，我就去；如果你不与我同去，我就不去。”
士4:8 And Barak said to her, If you will go with me then I will go; but if you will not go with me I will not go.
士4:9 底波拉回答：“我必与你同去，只是你这次行程就没有光荣；因为耶和华要把西西拉交在一个妇人手里。”于是底波拉起来，与巴拉一同到基低斯去了。
士4:9 And she said, I will certainly go with you: though you will get no honour in your undertaking, for the Lord will give Sisera into the hands of a woman. So Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh.
士4:10 巴拉就召集西布伦人和拿弗他利人到基低斯；与他一同步行上去的有一万人，底波拉也与他一同上去。
士4:10 Then Barak sent for Zebulun and Naphtali to come to Kedesh; and ten thousand men went up after him, and Deborah went up with him.
士4:11 摩西的岳父何巴的子孙基尼人希伯，曾经离开基尼族人，到靠近基低斯的撒拿音的橡树旁，支搭帐棚居住。
士4:11 Now Heber the Kenite, separating himself from the rest of the Kenites, from the children of Hobab, the brother-in-law of Moses, had put up his tent as far away as the oak-tree in Zaanannim, by Kedesh.
士4:12 有人告诉西西拉，亚比挪庵的儿子巴拉已经上了他泊山；
士4:12 And word was given to Sisera that Barak, the son of Abinoam, had gone up to Mount Tabor.
士4:13 西西拉就召集他所有的车辆，就是九百辆铁车，和与他在一起的众人，都从夏罗设歌印出来，到基顺河那里。
士4:13 So Sisera got together all his war-carriages, nine hundred war-carriages of iron, and all the people who were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles as far as the river Kishon.
士4:14 底波拉对巴拉说：“你起来吧，因为今日就是耶和华把西西拉交在你手里的日子；耶和华不是在你前面出战吗？”于是巴拉和跟随他的一万人从他泊山下来。
士4:14 Then Deborah said to Barak, Up! for today the Lord has given Sisera into your hands: has not the Lord gone out before you? So Barak went down from Mount Tabor and ten thousand men after him.
士4:15 耶和华用刀使西西拉和所有的车辆与全军，都在巴拉面前溃乱；西西拉下了车，步行逃跑。
士4:15 And the Lord sent fear on Sisera and all his war-carriages and all his army before Barak; and Sisera got down from his war-carriage and went in flight on foot.
士4:16 巴拉追赶西西拉的车辆和军队，直到夏罗设歌印；西西拉的全军都倒在刀下，连一个也没有留下。
士4:16 But Barak went after the war-carriages and the army as far as Harosheth of the Gentiles; and all Sisera's army was put to the sword; not a man got away.
士4:17 只有西西拉步行逃跑，到了基尼人希伯的妻子雅亿的帐棚那里；因为夏琐王耶宾与基尼人希伯的家友好。
士4:17 But Sisera went in flight on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin, king of Hazor, and the family of Heber the Kenite.
士4:18 雅亿出来迎接西西拉，对他说：“请我主转过来，到我这里，不要惧怕。”西西拉就转到她那里去，就是转到她的帐棚里去；雅亿就用毛毡遮盖他。
士4:18 And Jael went out to Sisera, and said to him, Come in, my lord, come in to me without fear. So he went into her tent, and she put a cover over him.
士4:19 西西拉对雅亿说：“请给我一点水喝，因为我渴了。”雅亿就打开盛奶的皮袋，给他喝了，再把他盖着。
士4:19 Then he said to her, Give me now a little water, for I have need of a drink. And opening a skin of milk, she gave him drink, and put the cover over him again.
士4:20 西西拉又对雅亿说：“请你站在帐棚门口，如果有人来问你：‘这里有人吗？’你就要回答：‘没有。’”
士4:20 And he said to her, Take your place at the door of the tent, and if anyone comes and says to you, Is there any man here, say, No.
士4:21 希伯的妻子雅亿取了一根帐棚的橛子，手里拿着锤子，静悄悄地走到西西拉那里，把橛子钉在他的太阳穴里，直钉入地里；因为西西拉疲乏熟睡，就这样死了。
士4:21 Then Jael, Heber's wife, took a tent-pin and a hammer and went up to him quietly, driving the pin into his head, and it went through his head into the earth, for he was in a deep sleep from weariness; and so he came to his end.
士4:22 那时，巴拉追赶西西拉，雅亿出来迎接他，对他说：“来吧，我给你看你寻找的人。”他就进到她那里去；看见西西拉已经仆倒，死了；橛子还在他的太阳穴里。
士4:22 Then Jael went out, and meeting Barak going after Sisera, said to him, Come, and I will let you see the man you are searching for. So he came into her tent and saw, and there was Sisera stretched out dead with the tent-pin in his head.
士4:23 这样， 神就在那一天，在以色列人面前，制伏了迦南王耶宾。
士4:23 So that day God overcame Jabin, king of Canaan, before the children of Israel.
士4:24 以色列人的势力日渐强盛，胜过迦南王耶宾，终于把迦南王耶宾除灭。
士4:24 And the power of the children of Israel went on increasing against Jabin, king of Canaan, till he was cut off.
