传11:1 要把你的粮食撒在水面上，因为日久你必得回。
传11:1 Put out your bread on the face of the waters; for after a long time it will come back to you again.
传11:2 你要分为七份，或分为八份，因为你不知道将来会有什么灾祸在地上发生。
传11:2 Give a part to seven or even to eight, because you have no knowledge of the evil which will be on the earth.
传11:3 云若充满水气，雨就倾倒在地上；树无论向南倒，或向北倒，倒在哪里，就横在哪里。
传11:3 If the clouds are full of rain, they send it down on the earth; and if a tree comes down to the south, or the north, in whatever place it comes down, there it will be.
传11:4 看风的，不撒种；观云的，不收割。
传11:4 He who is watching the wind will not get the seed planted, and he who is looking at the clouds will not get in the grain.
传11:5 你不晓得风的路向，不知道骨头如何在孕妇胎中形成，照样，创造万物之 神的作为，你也不得而知。
传11:5 As you have no knowledge of the way of the wind, or of the growth of the bones in the body of her who is with child, even so you have no knowledge of the works of God who has made all.
传11:6 早晨要撒你的种，直到黄昏也不要歇手；因为你不知道哪一样种得成，是早撒的，或晚撒的，或两者都一样好。
传11:6 In the morning put your seed into the earth, and till the evening let not your hand be at rest; because you are not certain which will do well, this or that--or if the two will be equally good.
传11:7 光是美好的，眼睛得见天日，也是好的。
传11:7 Truly the light is sweet, and it is good for the eyes to see the sun.
传11:8 人无论多长寿，都当乐在其中，不过他要想到黑暗的日子，因为这些日子将会很多；要来的，都是虚空的。
传11:8 But even if a man's life is long and he has joy in all his years, let him keep in mind the dark days, because they will be great in number. Whatever may come is to no purpose.
传11:9 年轻人哪！你在幼年时要快乐，在壮年的日子，要使你的心欢畅；顺着你心所愿的，眼所见的去行。不过，你要知道，为了这一切事， 神必审问你。
传11:9 Have joy, O young man, while you are young; and let your heart be glad in the days of your strength, and go in the ways of your heart, and in the desire of your eyes; but be certain that for all these things God will be your judge.
传11:10 所以你当除掉心中的烦恼，除去肉体的疾苦，因为无论是幼年或是壮年，都是虚空的。
传11:10 So put away trouble from your heart, and sorrow from your flesh; because the early years and the best years are to no purpose.
