摩3:1 以色列人哪！要听耶和华攻击你们的这些话，就是攻击他从埃及地领上来的以色列全家，说：
摩3:1 Give ear to this word which the Lord has said against you, O children of Israel, against all the family which I took up out of the land of Egypt, saying,
摩3:2 “地上万族中，我只拣选了你；因此，我必追讨你们的一切罪。”
摩3:2 You only of all the families of the earth have I taken care of: for this reason I will send punishment on you for all your sins.
摩3:3 二人如果没有约定，怎会同行呢？
摩3:3 Is it possible for two to go walking together, if not by agreement?
摩3:4 狮子如果不是捕获猎物，怎会在林中吼叫？少壮狮子如果没有捕获什么，怎会在洞中咆哮呢？
摩3:4 Will a lion give his loud cry in the woodland when no food is there? will the voice of the young lion be sounding from his hole if he has taken nothing?
摩3:5 如果没有饵，雀鸟怎会掉在地上的网罗中？网罗如果没有捕获雀鸟，怎会从地上翻起呢？
摩3:5 Is it possible for a bird to be taken in a net on the earth where no net has been put for him? will the net come up from the earth if it has taken nothing at all?
摩3:6 城中如果吹起号角，居民怎会不惊慌呢？灾祸如果临到某城，不是耶和华所降的吗？
摩3:6 If the horn is sounded in the town will the people not be full of fear? will evil come on a town if the Lord has not done it?
摩3:7 如果主耶和华不先把计划向他的仆人众先知显示，他就不会作任何事。
摩3:7 Certainly the Lord will do nothing without making clear his secret to his servants, the prophets.
摩3:8 狮子吼叫，谁不害怕；主耶和华宣告，谁敢不代他传话？
摩3:8 The cry of the lion is sounding; who will not have fear? The Lord God has said the word; is it possible for the prophet to keep quiet?
摩3:9 要向亚实突和埃及的堡垒宣告：“你们要在撒玛利亚山上聚集；观看城里极大的骚乱和城中的暴虐。”
摩3:9 Give out the news in the great houses of Assyria and in the land of Egypt, and say, Come together on the mountains of Samaria, and see what great outcries are there, and what cruel acts are done in it.
摩3:10 “这些人不知道怎样行正直的事，只管在他们的堡垒中积聚暴行和欺压。”这是耶和华的宣告。
摩3:10 For they have no knowledge of how to do what is right, says the Lord, who are storing up violent acts and destruction in their great houses.
摩3:11 因此，主耶和华这样说：“敌人必围攻这地，使你们的势力倾覆，抢掠你们的堡垒。”
摩3:11 For this reason, says the Lord, an attacker will come, shutting in the land on every side; and your strength will come down and your great houses will be made waste.
摩3:12 耶和华这样说：“牧人从狮子口中，只能夺回一双羊腿和一角耳朵；住在撒玛利亚的以色列人获救也是这样，他们只剩下一角床榻，半边褥子（“他们只剩下一角床塌，半边褥子”，这句原文意义不详，或译：“他们躺卧在华丽的床上，睡在铺上绣花毯子的榻上”）。
摩3:12 These are the words of the Lord: As the keeper of sheep takes out of the mouth of the lion two legs or part of an ear; so will the children of Israel be made safe, who are resting in Samaria on seats of honour or on the silk cushions of a bed.
摩3:13 你们要听，要向雅各家作证。（这是主耶和华万军之 神的宣告。）
摩3:13 Give ear now, and give witness against the family of Jacob, says the Lord God, the God of armies;
摩3:14 我追讨以色列的悖逆时，必要惩罚伯特利的祭坛；坛角必砍下，跌落在地。
摩3:14 For in the day when I give Israel punishment for his sins, I will send punishment on the altars of Beth-el, and the horns of the altar will be cut off and come down to the earth.
摩3:15 我必毁坏冬天和夏天的别墅，用象牙装饰的房子必破烂，宏伟的楼宇必归于无有。”这是耶和华的宣告。
摩3:15 And I will send destruction on the winter house with the summer house; the ivory houses will be falling down and the great houses will come to an end, says the Lord.
