王下20:1 在那些日子，希西家病得要死了。亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚先知来见他，对他说：“耶和华这样说：‘你要留遗命给你的家人，因为你将要死，不能再活了。’”
王下20:1 In those days Hezekiah was ill and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him, The Lord says, Put your house in order, for your death is near.
王下20:2 他却转脸向墙，祷告耶和华说：
王下20:2 Then, turning his face to the wall, he made his prayer to the Lord, saying,
王下20:3 “唉，耶和华啊！求你记念我曾怎样以真诚和完全的心在你面前行事为人，我所行的都是你看为善的事。”希西家就痛哭起来。
王下20:3 O Lord, keep in mind how I have been true to you with all my heart, and have done what is good in your eyes. And Hezekiah gave way to bitter weeping.
王下20:4 以赛亚还没有出到中院，耶和华的话就临到他说：
王下20:4 Now before Isaiah had gone out of the middle of the town, the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
王下20:5 “你回去对我子民的君主希西家说：‘你祖大卫的 神耶和华这样说：我听见了你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪。看哪，我必医治你，第三日你要上耶和华的殿。
王下20:5 Go back and say to Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, The Lord, the God of David your father, says, Your prayer has come to my ears, and I have seen your weeping; see, I will make you well: on the third day you will go up to the house of the Lord.
王下20:6 我必把十五年的寿命增添给你。我要拯救你和这城脱离亚述王的手，又要因我自己和我仆人大卫的缘故保护这城。’”
王下20:6 I will give you fifteen more years of life; and I will keep you and this town safe from the hands of the king of Assyria; I will keep this town safe, for my honour, and for the honour of my servant David.
王下20:7 以赛亚说：“取一片无花果饼来。”他们就取了来，把它贴在疮上。希西家就痊愈了。
王下20:7 Then Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. So they took it and put it on his wound, and he got better.
王下20:8 希西家对以赛亚说：“有什么征兆告诉我耶和华必医治我，第三日我能上耶和华的殿呢？”
王下20:8 And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, What is to be the sign that the Lord will make me well, and that I will go up to the house of the Lord on the third day?
王下20:9 以赛亚说：“这就是耶和华给你的征兆，显明耶和华必成全他应许的这事：你要日影向前进十级或是倒退十级呢？”
王下20:9 And Isaiah said, This is the sign the Lord will give you, that he will do what he has said; will the shade go forward ten degrees or back?
王下20:10 希西家说：“日影延伸十级容易；不，我要日影倒后十级。”
王下20:10 And Hezekiah said in answer, It is a simple thing for the shade to go forward; but let it go back ten degrees.
王下20:11 以赛亚先知呼求耶和华，他就使日晷上的日影，就是在亚哈斯的日晷上已经下移的日影倒退了十级。
王下20:11 Then Isaiah the prophet made prayer to the Lord, and he made the shade go back ten degrees from its position on the steps of Ahaz.
王下20:12 那时，巴比伦王巴拉但的儿子比罗达．巴拉但送信和礼物给希西家，因为他听见希西家病了。
王下20:12 At that time, Merodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters with an offering to Hezekiah, because he had news that Hezekiah had been ill.
王下20:13 希西家听了使者的话，随后把宝库内的一切银子、金子、香料、贵重的油和军器库，以及他宝库内一切所有的，都给他们看。无论是在他的宫中或是在全国各地的，希西家没有一样不给他们看的。
王下20:13 And Hezekiah was glad at their coming and let them see all his store of wealth, the silver and the gold and the spices and the oil of great price, and the house of his arms, and everything there was in his stores; there was nothing in all his house or his kingdom which Hezekiah did not let them see.
王下20:14 后来，以赛亚先知来到希西家王那里，对他说：“这些人说了些什么？他们是从哪里来见你的呢？”希西家说：“他们是从遥远的巴比伦来见我的。”
王下20:14 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, What did these men say and where did they come from? And Hezekiah said, They came from a far country, even from Babylon.
王下20:15 以赛亚说：“他们在你宫中看到了什么呢？”希西家说：“我宫中的一切，他们都看见了。在我宝库内的，我没有一样不给他们看的。”
王下20:15 And he said, What have they seen in your house? And Hezekiah said in answer, They saw everything in my house: there is nothing among my stores which I did not let them see.
王下20:16 以赛亚对希西家说：“你要听耶和华的话：
王下20:16 And Isaiah said to Hezekiah, Give ear to the word of the Lord.
王下20:17 ‘看哪，日子快到，那时你宫中的一切和你的祖先所积存直到今日的一切，都要被掠到巴比伦去，没有一样留下。’这是耶和华说的。
王下20:17 Truly, days are coming when everything in your house, and whatever your fathers have put in store till this day, will be taken away to Babylon: all will be gone, says the Lord.
王下20:18 并且你的众子中，就是由你所出，你所生的，有一部分要被掳去。他们要在巴比伦王的王宫中当太监。”
王下20:18 And your sons, the offspring of your body, they will take away to be unsexed servants in the house of the king of Babylon.
王下20:19 希西家对以赛亚说：“你所说耶和华的话很好。”他心里说：“在我的日子有和平和安全不是很好吗？”
王下20:19 Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which you have said. Then he said, ... if in my time there is peace and righteousness?
王下20:20 希西家其余的事迹和他所有的英勇事迹，以及他做水池和引水道，把水引入城里的事，不是都写在犹大列王的年代志上吗？
王下20:20 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his power, and how he made the pool and the stream, to take water into the town, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah?
王下20:21 希西家和他的祖先一同长眠，他的儿子玛拿西就接续他作王。
王下20:21 And Hezekiah went to rest with his fathers; and Manasseh his son became king in his place.
