林后10:1 我保罗与你们见面的时候是谦卑的，不在你们那里的时候，却是放胆的。现在我亲自以基督的谦逊温柔劝你们，
林后10:1 Now I, Paul, myself make request to you by the quiet and gentle behaviour of Christ, I who am poor in spirit when with you, but who say what is in my mind to you without fear when I am away from you:
林后10:2 求你们使我在你们那里的时候，不要满有自信地放胆对你们，我认为要以这样的自信，勇敢地对付那些以为我们是照着世俗的标准（“世俗的标准”原文作“肉体”）行事的人。
林后10:2 Yes, I make my request to you, so that when I am with you I may not have to make use of the authority which may be needed against some to whom we seem to be walking after the flesh.
林后10:3 我们虽然在世上行事，却不是按照世俗的方式作战，
林后10:3 For though we may be living in the flesh, we are not fighting after the way of the flesh
林后10:4 因为我们作战所用的兵器，不是属于这世界的，而是在 神面前有能力的，可以攻陷坚固的堡垒，
林后10:4 (For the arms with which we are fighting are not those of the flesh, but are strong before God for the destruction of high places);
林后10:5 攻破诡辩，和做来阻挡人认识 神的一切高墙，并且把一切心意夺回来，顺服基督。
林后10:5 Putting an end to reasonings, and every high thing which is lifted up against the knowledge of God, and causing every thought to come under the authority of Christ;
林后10:6 我们已经准备好了，等你们完全顺服的时候，就惩罚所有不顺从的人。
林后10:6 Being ready to give punishment to whatever is against his authority, after you have made it clear that you are completely under his control.
林后10:7 你们看事情，只看表面。如果有人自信是属于基督的，他就应该再想一想：他是属于基督的，同样，我们也是属于基督的。
林后10:7 Give attention to the things which are before you. If any man seems to himself to be Christ's, let him keep in mind that we are as much Christ's as he is.
林后10:8 主把权柄赐给我们，是为了要造就你们，不是要破坏你们，就算我为这权柄夸口过分了一点，也不会觉得惭愧。
林后10:8 For though I might take pride in our authority (which the Lord gave for building you up, and not for your destruction), it will not be a cause of shame to me:
林后10:9 不要以为我写信是用来吓你们。
林后10:9 That I may not seem to have the desire of causing you fear by my letters.
林后10:10 因为有人说：“他的信又严厉又强硬，他本人却气貌不扬，言语粗俗。”
林后10:10 For his letters, they say, have weight and are strong; but in body he is feeble, and his way of talking has little force.
林后10:11 说这话的人要想一想，我们不在你们那里的时候，信上怎样写，我们来到的时候也会怎样作。
林后10:11 Let those who say this keep in mind that, what we are in word by letters when we are away, so will we be in act when we are present.
林后10:12 我们不敢和那些自我推荐的人相提并论；他们拿自己来量自己，拿自己来比自己，实在不大聪明。
林后10:12 For we will not make comparison of ourselves with some of those who say good things about themselves: but these, measuring themselves by themselves, and making comparison of themselves with themselves, are not wise.
林后10:13 我们所夸的，并没有越过范围，而是在 神量给我们的界限之内；这界限一直延伸到你们那里。
林后10:13 We will not give glory to ourselves in over-great measure, but after the measure of the rule which God has given us, a measure which comes even to you.
林后10:14 如果我们没有到过你们那里，现在就自夸得过分了；但事实上，我们早就把基督的福音传到你们那里了。
林后10:14 For we have no need to make ourselves seem more than we are, as if our authority did not come as far as to you: for we came even as far as you with the good news of Christ:
林后10:15 我们并没有越过范围，拿别人的劳苦来夸口。我们盼望随着你们信心的增长，我们的界限就因你们而大大扩展，
林后10:15 Not taking credit to ourselves for what is not our business, that is, for the work of others; but having hope that, with the growth of your faith, we may get the credit for an increase which is the effect of our work,
林后10:16 使我们可以把福音传到你们以外的地方。别人在他的界限以内所完成的工作，我们不会拿来夸口的。
林后10:16 So that we may be able to go on and take the good news to countries still farther away than you are, and not take credit for another man's work in making things ready to our hand.
林后10:17 夸口的应当靠着主夸口，
林后10:17 But whoever has a desire for glory, let his glory be in the Lord.
林后10:18 因为蒙悦纳的，不是自我推荐的人，而是主所推荐的人。
林后10:18 For the Lord's approval of a man is not dependent on his opinion of himself, but on the Lord's opinion of him.
