书11:1 夏琐王耶宾一听见这些事，就派人去见玛顿王约巴、伸仑王、押煞王，
书11:1 Now Jabin, king of Hazor, hearing of these things, sent to Jobab, king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,
书11:2 以及住在北方山地、基尼烈南边的亚拉巴高原和西边多珥高地的众王，
书11:2 And to the kings on the north in the hill-country, and in the Arabah south of Chinneroth, and in the lowland, and in the highlands of Dor on the west,
书11:3 又去见在东方和西方的迦南人，住在山地的亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人和耶布斯人，以及米斯巴地黑门山下的希未人。
书11:3 And to the Canaanites on the east and on the west, and to the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites in the hill-country, and the Hivites under Hermon in the land of Mizpah.
书11:4 这些王与他们所有的军队都一同出来，人数众多，好像海边的沙，还有很多马匹和车辆。
书11:4 And they went out, they and all their armies with them, a great people, in number like the sand on the seaside, with horses and war-carriages in great number.
书11:5 这些王都联合起来，来到米伦水边，在那里一起安营，要与以色列人作战。
书11:5 And all these kings came together, and put their forces in position at the waters of Merom, to make war on Israel.
书11:6 耶和华对约书亚说：“你不要因他们惧怕，因为明天这个时候，我必使他们全数在以色列人面前被杀；你要砍断他们的马蹄筋，焚烧他们的车辆。”
书11:6 And the Lord said to Joshua, Have no fear of them: for tomorrow at this time I will give them all up dead before Israel; you are to have the leg-muscles of their horses cut and their war-carriages burned with fire.
书11:7 于是约书亚和所有与他在一起能作战的人，在米伦水边突然迫近，攻打他们。
书11:7 So Joshua and all the men of war with him came against them suddenly at the waters of Merom, and made an attack on them.
书11:8 耶和华把他们交在以色列人手里，以色列人就击杀他们，追赶他们直到西顿大城、米斯利弗．玛音，以及在东边的米斯巴谷；以色列人击杀他们，没有留下一个。
书11:8 And the Lord gave them up into the hands of Israel, and they overcame them driving them back to great Zidon and to Misrephoth-maim and into the valley of Mizpeh to the east; and they put them all to death, no man got away safely.
书11:9 约书亚照着耶和华吩咐他的对待他们；他砍断了他们的马蹄筋，用火烧了他们的车辆。
书11:9 And Joshua did to them as the Lord had said to him; he had the leg-muscles of their horses cut and their war-carriages burned with fire.
书11:10 那时，约书亚转回来，占领了夏琐，用刀击杀了夏琐王，因为夏琐在这些国中素来是为首的。
书11:10 At that time, Joshua went on to take Hazor and put its king to the sword: for in earlier times Hazor was the chief of all those kingdoms.
书11:11 以色列人用刀击杀了城中所有的人，把他们完全毁灭；有气息的一个也没有留下；约书亚又放火烧了夏琐。
书11:11 And they put every person in it to death without mercy, giving every living thing up to the curse, and burning Hazor.
书11:12 约书亚夺取了那些王的一切城镇，又擒获那些城镇所有的王；他用刀击杀了他们，把一切完全毁灭，正如耶和华仆人摩西所吩咐的。
书11:12 And all the towns of these kings, and all the kings, Joshua took, and put them to the sword: he gave them up to the curse, as Moses, the servant of the Lord, had said.
书11:13 至于那些立在土丘上的城，除了夏琐以外，以色列人都没有焚烧；约书亚只烧了夏琐。
书11:13 As for the towns made on hills of earth, not one was burned by Israel but Hazor, which was burned by Joshua.
书11:14 那些城所有的战利品和牲畜，以色列人都据为己有；只是把所有的人都用刀击杀了，直到把他们杀尽；有气息的，他们没有留下一个。
书11:14 And all the goods taken from these towns, and their cattle, the children of Israel kept for themselves; but every man they put to death without mercy, till their destruction was complete, and there was no one living.
书11:15 耶和华怎样吩咐他的仆人摩西，摩西就怎样吩咐约书亚，约书亚也照样行了；耶和华吩咐摩西的一切，约书亚没有一样不办妥的。
书11:15 As the Lord had given orders to Moses his servant, so Moses gave orders to Joshua, and so Joshua did; every order which the Lord had given to Moses was done.
书11:16 这样，约书亚夺取了那整个地区，就是山地、整个南地、歌珊全地、高原、亚拉巴、以色列山地和山地的高原；
书11:16 So Joshua took all that land, the hill-country and all the South, and all the land of Goshen, and the lowland and the Arabah, the hill-country of Israel and its lowland;
书11:17 从延伸至西珥的哈拉山，直到黑门山下黎巴嫩谷的巴力．迦得；约书亚擒获了那些地方所有的王，把他们都杀死了。
书11:17 From Mount Halak, which goes up to Seir, as far as Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon under Mount Hermon: and all their kings he overcame and put to death.
书11:18 约书亚和这些王作战了很多的日子。
书11:18 For a long time Joshua made war on all those kings.
书11:19 除了住在基遍的希未人以外，没有一座城与以色列人议和的；所有其他的城都是以色列人作战夺取的。
书11:19 Not one town made peace with the children of Israel, but only the Hivites of Gibeon: they took them all in war.
书11:20 因为这是出于耶和华的旨意，他使他们心里刚硬，要与以色列人交战，好把他们完全毁灭，使他们不蒙怜悯，却要被消灭，正如耶和华吩咐摩西的。
书11:20 For the Lord made them strong in heart to go to war against Israel, so that he might give them up to the curse without mercy, and that destruction might come on them, as the Lord had given orders to Moses.
书11:21 那时约书亚来了，把在山地、希伯仑、底璧、亚拿伯、整个犹大山地、整个以色列山地所有的亚衲族人都剪除了。约书亚把他们与他们的城镇都完全毁灭了。
书11:21 And Joshua came at that time and put an end to the Anakim in the hill-country, in Hebron, in Debir, in Anab, and in all the hill-country of Judah and Israel: Joshua gave them and their towns to the curse.
书11:22 在以色列人的境内，没有留下一个亚衲族人，只在迦萨、迦特和亚实突还有余下的。
书11:22 Not one of the Anakim was to be seen in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, some were still living.
书11:23 这样，约书亚照着耶和华吩咐摩西的一切话，夺取了那全地；于是，约书亚按着以色列的支派把地分给他们作产业。全地也就止息了战争。
书11:23 So Joshua took all the land, as the Lord had said to Moses; and Joshua gave it to the children of Israel as their heritage, making division of it among them by their tribes. And the land had rest from war.
