王上17:1 提斯比人以利亚，就是从基列的提斯比来的先知，对亚哈说：“我指着我所事奉永活的耶和华以色列的 神起誓，这几年若是没有我的命令，天必不降露，也不下雨。”
王上17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, of Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, By the living Lord, the God of Israel, whose servant I am, there will be no dew or rain in these years, but only at my word.
王上17:2 耶和华的话临到以利亚说：
王上17:2 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
王上17:3 “你离开这里，向东方去，躲藏在约旦河东面的基立溪旁。
王上17:3 Go from here in the direction of the east, and keep yourself in a secret place by the stream Cherith, east of Jordan.
王上17:4 你要喝那溪里的水，我已经吩咐乌鸦在那里供养你。”
王上17:4 The water of the stream will be your drink, and by my orders the ravens will give you food there.
王上17:5 于是以利亚去了，照着耶和华的话行了；他去住在约旦河东面的基立溪旁。
王上17:5 So he went and did as the Lord said, living by the stream Cherith, east of Jordan.
王上17:6 乌鸦早晨给他送饼和肉来，晚上也送饼和肉来，他也喝那溪里的水。
王上17:6 And the ravens took him bread in the morning and meat in the evening; and the water of the stream was his drink.
王上17:7 过了一些日子，那溪就干了，因为没有雨下在地上。
王上17:7 Now after a time the stream became dry, because there was no rain in the land.
王上17:8 耶和华的话又临到以利亚说：
王上17:8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
王上17:9 “你起来，往西顿的撒勒法去，住在那里；我已经吩咐那里的一个寡妇供养你。”
王上17:9 Up! go now to Zarephath, in Zidon, and make your living-place there; I have given orders to a widow woman there to see that you have food.
王上17:10 于是以利亚起来，往撒勒法去了；他来到城门口的时候，就看见一个寡妇在那里捡柴；以利亚呼叫她，说：“请你用器皿取点水来给我！”
王上17:10 So he got up and went to Zarephath; and when he came to the door of the town, he saw a widow woman getting sticks together; and crying out to her he said, Will you give me a little water in a vessel for my drink?
王上17:11 她去取水的时候，以利亚又叫她，说：“请你也给我拿点饼来！”
王上17:11 And when she was going to get it, he said to her, And get me with it a small bit of bread.
王上17:12 她说：“我指着永活的耶和华你的 神起誓，我没有饼，缸里只有一把面粉，瓶里只有一点油。你看我正在捡两根柴，然后回去，为自己和儿子做饼，我们吃完了，就等死。”
王上17:12 Then she said, By the life of the Lord your God, I have nothing but a little meal in my store, and a drop of oil in the bottle; and now I am getting two sticks together so that I may go in and make it ready for me and my son, so that we may have a meal before our death.
王上17:13 以利亚对她说：“不要惧怕，照着你所说的去作吧，不过要先为我做一个小饼，拿出来给我，然后才为你自己和儿子做饼。
王上17:13 And Elijah said to her, Have no fear; go and do as you have said, but first make me a little cake of it and come and give it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son.
王上17:14 因为耶和华以色列的 神这样说：‘缸里的面粉必不会用完，瓶里的油决不会短缺，直等到耶和华降雨在地面上的日子。’”
王上17:14 For this is the word of the Lord, the God of Israel: The store of meal will not come to an end, and the bottle will never be without oil, till the day when the Lord sends rain on the earth.
王上17:15 她就去照着以利亚所说的作了。她和以利亚，以及她的家人，吃了许多日子。
王上17:15 So she went and did as Elijah said; and she and he and her family had food for a long time.
王上17:16 缸里的面粉果然没有用完，瓶里的油也没有短缺，正像耶和华借着以利亚所说的话一样。
王上17:16 The store of meal did not come to an end, and the bottle was never without oil, as the Lord had said by the mouth of Elijah.
王上17:17 这些事以后，那妇人，就是那个家庭的主人的儿子病了。他的病情十分严重，以致呼吸都停止了。
王上17:17 Now after this, the son of the woman of the house became ill, so ill that there was no breath in him.
王上17:18 于是妇人对以利亚说：“神人哪，我跟你有什么关系呢？你竟到我这里来，使耶和华想起我的罪孽，杀死我的儿子。”
王上17:18 And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with you, O man of God? have you come to put God in mind of my sin, and to put my son to death?
王上17:19 以利亚对她说：“把你的儿子交给我吧！”以利亚就从她的怀中把孩子接过来，抱他上到自己所住的楼上去，放在自己的床上。
王上17:19 And he said to her, Give your son to me. And lifting him out of her arms, he took him up to his room and put him down on his bed.
王上17:20 以利亚呼求耶和华说：“耶和华我的 神啊，我寄居在这寡妇的家里，你也降祸与她，使她的儿子死去吗？”
王上17:20 And crying to the Lord he said, O Lord my God, have you sent evil even on the widow whose guest I am, by causing her son's death?
王上17:21 然后，以利亚三次伏在孩子的身上，向耶和华呼求说：“耶和华我的 神，求你恢复这孩子的生命吧。”
王上17:21 And stretching herself out on the child three times, he made his prayer to the Lord, saying, O Lord my God, be pleased to let this child's life come back to him again.
王上17:22 耶和华垂听了以利亚的话，孩子的生命果然恢复，活过来了。
王上17:22 And the Lord gave ear to the voice of Elijah, and the child's spirit came into him again, and he came back to life.
王上17:23 以利亚把孩子抱起来，从楼上下到屋子里去，把孩子交给他的母亲；以利亚说：“看，你的儿子活了！”
王上17:23 And Elijah took the child down from his room into the house and gave him to his mother and said to her, See, your son is living.
王上17:24 妇人对以利亚说：“现在我知道你是神人，耶和华借着你的口所说的话是真实的。”
王上17:24 Then the woman said to Elijah, Now I am certain that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is true.
