代上25:1 大卫和军队的领袖，也给亚萨、希幔和耶杜顿的子孙分派了任务，叫他们用琴瑟响钹说预言。他们任职的人数如下：
代上25:1 Further, David and the chiefs of the servants of the holy place made selection of certain of the sons of Asaph and of Heman and of Jeduthun for the work of prophets, to make melody with corded instruments and brass; and the number of the men for the work they had to do was:
代上25:2 亚萨的儿子有撒刻、约瑟、尼探雅和亚萨利拉；亚萨的儿子都归亚萨指挥，遵照王的旨意说预言。
代上25:2 Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur and Joseph and Nethaniah and Asharelah, sons of Asaph; under the direction of Asaph, acting as a prophet under the orders of the king;
代上25:3 至于耶杜顿，他的儿子有基大利、西利、耶筛亚、示每、哈沙比雅和玛他提雅，共六人，都归他们的父亲耶杜顿指挥。耶杜顿用琴说预言，称谢和赞美耶和华。
代上25:3 Of Jeduthun: the six sons of Jeduthun, Gedaliah and Zeri and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah and Mattithiah; under the direction of their father Jeduthun who, acting as a prophet, with corded instruments gave praise and glory to the Lord.
代上25:4 至于希幔，他的儿子有布基雅、玛探雅、乌薛、细布业、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亚他、基大利提、罗幔提．以谢、约施比加沙、玛罗提、何提和玛哈秀。
代上25:4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;
代上25:5 这些人都是希幔的儿子；希幔是王的先见，照着 神的话高举他（“高举他”原文作“高举角”）。 神赐给希幔十四个儿子，三个女儿。
代上25:5 All these were sons of Heman, the king's seer in the words of God. And to make great his power God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
代上25:6 这些人都归他们的父亲指挥，在耶和华的殿里歌颂，用响钹和琴瑟在 神的殿事奉。亚萨、耶杜顿和希幔都是由王指挥的。
代上25:6 All these, under the direction of their father, made music in the house of the Lord, with brass and corded instruments, for the worship of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the orders of the king.
代上25:7 他们和他们的亲族，在歌颂耶和华的事上受过特别训练，精于歌唱的，人数共有二百八十八人。
代上25:7 And the number of them, with their brothers who were trained and expert in making melody to the Lord, was two hundred and eighty-eight.
