约15:1 “我是真葡萄树，我父是培植的人。
约15:1 I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener.
约15:2 所有属我而不结果子的枝子，他就剪去；所有结果子的，他就修剪干净，让它结更多的果子。
约15:2 He takes away every branch in me which has no fruit, and every branch which has fruit he makes clean, so that it may have more fruit.
约15:3 现在你们因着我对你们所讲的道，已经干净了。
约15:3 You are clean, even now, through the teaching which I have given you.
约15:4 你们要住在我里面，我也就住在你们里面。枝子若不连在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子；你们若不住在我里面，也是这样。
约15:4 Be in me at all times as I am in you. As the branch is not able to give fruit of itself, if it is not still on the vine, so you are not able to do so if you are not in me.
约15:5 我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。住在我里面的，我也住在他里面，他就结出很多果子；因为离开了我，你们就不能作什么。
约15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches: he who is in me at all times as I am in him, gives much fruit, because without me you are able to do nothing.
约15:6 人若不住在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯干了，人把它们拾起来，丢在火里烧掉了。
约15:6 If a man does not keep himself in me, he becomes dead and is cut off like a dry branch; such branches are taken up and put in the fire and burned.
约15:7 你们若住在我里面，我的话也留在你们里面；无论你们想要什么，祈求，就给你们成就。
约15:7 If you are in me at all times, and my words are in you, then anything for which you make a request will be done for you.
约15:8 这样，你们结出很多果子，我父就因此得荣耀，你们也就是我的门徒了。
约15:8 Here is my Father's glory, in that you give much fruit and so are my true disciples.
约15:9 父怎样爱我，我也怎样爱你们；你们要住在我的爱里。
约15:9 Even as the Father has given me his love, so I have given my love to you: be ever in my love.
约15:10 如果你们遵守我的命令，就必定住在我的爱里，正像我遵守了我父的命令，住在他的爱里一样。
约15:10 If you keep my laws, you will be ever in my love, even as I have kept my Father's laws, and am ever in his love.
约15:11 “我把这些事告诉了你们，好让我的喜乐存在你们心里，并且使你们的喜乐满溢。
约15:11 I have said these things to you so that I may have joy in you and so that your joy may be complete.
约15:12 你们要彼此相爱，像我爱你们一样，这就是我的命令。
约15:12 This is the law I give you: Have love one for another, even as I have love for you.
约15:13 人为朋友舍命，人间的爱没有比这个更大的了。
约15:13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man gives up his life for his friends.
约15:14 你们若行我所吩咐你们的，就是我的朋友了。
约15:14 You are my friends, if you do what I give you orders to do.
约15:15 我不再称你们为仆人，因为仆人不知道主人所作的事；我已经称你们为朋友了，因为我从我父那里听见的一切，都已经告诉你们了。
约15:15 No longer do I give you the name of servants; because a servant is without knowledge of what his master is doing: I give you the name of friends, because I have given you knowledge of all the things which my Father has said to me.
约15:16 不是你们拣选了我，而是我拣选了你们，并且分派你们去结果子，就是结常存的果子，使你们奉我的名，无论向父求什么，他必定赐给你们。
约15:16 You did not take me for yourselves, but I took you for myself; and I gave you the work of going about and producing fruit which will be for ever; so that whatever request you make to the Father in my name he may give it to you.
约15:17 我把这些事吩咐你们，是要你们彼此相爱。
约15:17 So this is my law for you: Have love one for another.
约15:18 “如果世人恨你们，你们要知道他们在恨你们以先，已经恨我了。
约15:18 If you are hated by the world, keep in mind that I was hated by the world before you.
约15:19 你们若属于这世界，世人必定爱属自己的；但因为你们不属于世界，而是我从世界中拣选了你们，所以世人就恨你们。
约15:19 If you were of the world, you would be loved by the world: but because you are not of the world, but I have taken you out of the world, you are hated by the world.
约15:20 你们要记住我对你们说过的话：‘仆人不能大过主人。’他们若迫害我，也必定迫害你们；他们若遵守我的话，也必定遵守你们的话。
约15:20 Keep in mind the words I said to you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they were cruel to me, they will be cruel to you; if they kept my words, they will keep yours.
约15:21 但他们因着我的名，要向你们行这一切，因为他们不认识那差我来的。
约15:21 They will do all this to you because of my name--because they have no knowledge of him who sent me.
约15:22 如果我没有来，也没有对他们讲过什么，他们就没有罪；但现在他们的罪是无可推诿的了。
约15:22 If I had not come and been their teacher they would have had no sin: but now they have no reason to give for their sin.
约15:23 恨我的，也恨我的父。
约15:23 He who has hate for me has hate for my Father.
约15:24 如果我没有在他们中间作过别人没有作过的事，他们就没有罪；但现在我和我的父，他们都看见了，也都恨恶。
约15:24 If I had not done among them the works which no other man ever did, they would have had no sin: but now they have seen, and they have had hate in their hearts for me and my Father.
约15:25 这就应验了他们律法上所写的话：‘他们无故地恨我。’
约15:25 This comes about so that the writing in their law may be made true, Their hate for me was without cause.
约15:26 “我从父那里要差来给你们的保惠师，就是从父那里出来的真理的灵，他来到的时候，要为我作见证。
约15:26 When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father even the Spirit of true knowledge who comes from the Father--he will give witness about me;
约15:27 你们也要作见证，因为从开始你们就是跟我在一起的。”
约15:27 And you, in addition, will give witness because you have been with me from the first.
