约21:1 这些事以后，耶稣在提比里亚海边再次向门徒显现。他显现的经过是这样的：
约21:1 After these things Jesus let himself be seen again by the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and it came about in this way.
约21:2 当时西门．彼得、称为“双生子”的多马、加利利的迦拿人拿但业、西庇太的两个儿子，和另外两个门徒都聚在一起。
约21:2 Simon Peter, Thomas named Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were all together.
约21:3 西门．彼得对他们说：“我要打鱼去。”他们说：“我们也跟你一起去。”于是他们出去，上了船，可是那一夜他们并没有打到什么。
约21:3 Simon Peter said to them, I am going fishing. They said to him, And we will come with you. They went out and got into the boat; but that night they took no fish.
约21:4 清早的时候，耶稣站在岸边；门徒却不知道他就是耶稣。
约21:4 Now very early in the morning Jesus was there by the edge of the sea (though the disciples were not conscious that it was Jesus).
约21:5 耶稣对他们说：“孩子们，打到鱼没有？”他们回答：“没有。”
约21:5 So Jesus said to them, Children, have you taken any fish? They made answer, No.
约21:6 耶稣说：“把网撒在船的右边，就可以得着。”他们就把网撒下去，可是拉不上来，因为鱼太多。
约21:6 And he said to them, Let down the net on the right side of the boat and you will get some. So they put it in the water and now they were not able to get it up again because of the great number of fish.
约21:7 耶稣所爱的那门徒对彼得说：“是主！”西门．彼得一听见是主，就立刻束上外衣（因为他当时赤着身子），纵身跳进海里。
约21:7 So the disciple who was dear to Jesus said to Peter, It is the Lord! Hearing that it was the Lord, Peter put his coat round him (because he was not clothed) and went into the sea.
约21:8 其他的门徒，因为离岸不远（约有一百公尺），就坐在小船上，把那网鱼拖过来。
约21:8 And the other disciples came in the little boat (they were not far from land, only about two hundred cubits off) pulling the net full of fish.
约21:9 他们上了岸，就看见那里有一堆炭火，上面有鱼有饼。
约21:9 When they got to land, they saw a fire of coals there, with fish cooking on it, and bread.
约21:10 耶稣对他们说：“把你们刚才打的鱼拿几条来。”
约21:10 Jesus said to them, Get some of the fish which you have now taken.
约21:11 西门．彼得就上船，把网拉到岸上；那网满了大鱼，共有一百五十三条。鱼虽然这么多，网却没有破。
约21:11 So Peter went to the boat and came back pulling the net to land, full of great fish, a hundred and fifty-three; and though there was such a number the net was not broken.
约21:12 耶稣对他们说：“你们来，吃早饭吧。”门徒中没有一个人敢问他：“你是谁？”因为知道他是主。
约21:12 Jesus said to them, Come and take some food. And all the disciples were in fear of putting the question, Who are you? being conscious that it was the Lord.
约21:13 耶稣走过来，拿饼递给他们，又照样拿鱼递给他们。
约21:13 Then Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and the fish in the same way.
约21:14 这是耶稣从死人中复活之后，第三次向门徒显现。
约21:14 Now this was the third time that Jesus let himself be seen by the disciples after he had come back from the dead.
约21:15 他们吃了早饭，耶稣问西门．彼得：“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我比这些更深吗？”他回答：“主啊，是的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣说：“你喂养我的小羊。”
约21:15 Then when they had taken food, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, is your love for me greater than the love of these others? He said to him, Yes, Lord; you are certain of my love for you. He said to him, Then give my lambs food.
约21:16 耶稣第二次又问他：“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我吗？”他回答：“主啊，是的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣说：“你牧养我的羊。”
约21:16 Again, a second time, he said to him, Simon, son of John, have you any love for me? Yes, Lord, he said, you are certain of my love for you. Then take care of my sheep, said Jesus.
约21:17 耶稣第三次问他：“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我吗？”彼得因为耶稣第三次问他：“你爱我吗？”就忧愁起来，对耶稣说：“主啊，你是无所不知的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣说：“你喂养我的羊。
约21:17 He said to him a third time, Simon, son of John, am I dear to you? Now Peter was troubled in his heart because he put the question a third time, Am I dear to you? And he said to him, Lord, you have knowledge of all things; you see that you are dear to me. Jesus said to him, Then give my sheep food.
约21:18 我实实在在告诉你，你年轻的时候，自己束上腰带，随意往来；但到了年老的时候，你要伸出手来，别人要把你绑着，带你到你不愿意去的地方。”
约21:18 Truly I say to you, When you were young, you made yourself ready and went wherever you had a desire to go: but when you are old, you will put out your hands and another will make you ready, and you will be taken where you have no desire to go.
约21:19 耶稣说这话，是指明彼得将怎样死，来荣耀 神。说了这话，就对彼得说：“你跟从我吧！”
约21:19 Now this he said, pointing out the sort of death by which he would give God glory. And after saying this, he said to him, Come after me.
约21:20 彼得转过身来，看见耶稣所爱的那门徒跟着，就是在晚饭的时候，靠着耶稣的胸膛，问“主啊，出卖你的是谁？”的那个人。
约21:20 Then Peter, turning round, saw the disciple who was dear to Jesus coming after them--the disciple who was resting on his breast at the last meal, and said, Lord, who is it who will be false to you?
约21:21 彼得看见他，就问耶稣：“主啊，这个人将来怎么样？”
约21:21 Seeing him, Peter said to Jesus, What about this man?
约21:22 耶稣回答他：“如果我要他活到我来的时候，跟你有什么关系呢？你只管跟从我吧！”
约21:22 Jesus said to him, If it is my desire for him to be here till I come back, what is that to you? come yourself after me.
约21:23 于是这话流传在弟兄中间，说那门徒不会死。其实耶稣并没有说他不会死，只是说：“如果我要他活到我来的时候，跟你有什么关系呢？”
约21:23 So this saying went about among the brothers that this disciple would not undergo death: Jesus, however, did not say that he would not undergo death, but, If it is my desire for him to be here till I come back, what is that to you?
约21:24 为这些事作证，并且记述这些事的，就是这门徒；我们知道他的见证是真实的。
约21:24 This is the disciple who gives witness about these things and who put them in writing: and we have knowledge that his witness is true.
约21:25 耶稣所行的，还有许多其他的事；如果都一一写下来，所要写成的书，我想就是这个世界也容不下了。
约21:25 And Jesus did such a number of other things that, if every one was recorded, it is my opinion that even the world itself is not great enough for the books there would be.
