路8:1 不久，耶稣周游各城各村讲道，宣扬 神的国的福音，和他在一起的有十二个门徒，
路8:1 And it came about, after a short time, that he went through town and country giving the good news of the kingdom of God, and with him were the twelve,
路8:2 还有几个蒙了医治、脱离污鬼与疾病的妇女，其中有称为抹大拉的马利亚，曾有七个鬼从她身上赶出来；
路8:2 And certain women who had been made free from evil spirits and diseases, Mary named Magdalene, from whom seven evil spirits had gone out,
路8:3 有希律的管家古撒的妻子约亚拿，又有苏珊娜，和许多别的妇女，她们都用自己的财物供给耶稣和门徒。
路8:3 And Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's chief house-servant, and Susanna and a number of others, who gave him of their wealth for his needs.
路8:4 当时有许多人聚在一起，还有人从各城来到耶稣那里，他就用比喻说：
路8:4 And when a great number of people came together, and men from every town went out to him, he gave them teaching in the form of a story:
路8:5 “有一个撒种的出去撒种，撒的时候，有的落在路旁，被人践踏，或给空中的小鸟吃掉。
路8:5 A man went out to put in seed, and while he was doing it, some was dropped by the wayside and it was crushed under foot, and was taken by the birds of heaven.
路8:6 有的落在石头地上，一长出来就枯萎了，因为得不着滋润。
路8:6 And some went on the rock, and when it came up it became dry and dead because it had no water.
路8:7 有的落在荆棘丛中，荆棘也一齐生长，把它挤住了。
路8:7 And some went among thorns, and the thorns came up with it and it had no room for growth.
路8:8 有的落在好土里，就生长起来，结出百倍的果实。”他说了这些话，就大声说：“有耳可听的，就应当听！”
路8:8 And some falling on good earth, came up and gave fruit a hundred times as much. And with these words he said in a loud voice, He who has ears, let him give ear.
路8:9 门徒问他这比喻是什么意思。
路8:9 And his disciples put questions to him about the point of the story.
路8:10 他说：“ 神的国的奥秘，只给你们知道，对别人就用比喻，叫他们看却看不见，听却听不明白。
路8:10 And he said, To you is given knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God; but to the others, they are given in stories, so that seeing, they may not see, and though they give hearing, the sense will not be clear to them.
路8:11 “这比喻是说，种子是 神的道，
路8:11 Now this is the point of the story: The seed is the word of God.
路8:12 那落在路旁的，就是人听了，魔鬼随即来到，从他们心里把道夺去，恐怕他们相信就得救了。
路8:12 Those by the side of the road are those who have given hearing; then the Evil One comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not have faith and get salvation.
路8:13 那落在石头地上的，就是人听了，欢欢喜喜地接受，但是没有根，不过是暂时相信，一旦遭遇试炼，就倒退了。
路8:13 And those on the rock are those who with joy give hearing to the word; but having no root, they have faith for a time, and when the test comes they give up.
路8:14 那落在荆棘里的，就是人听了，走开以后，被今世的忧虑、财富和宴乐挤住了，结不出成熟的子粒来。
路8:14 And those which went among thorns are those who have given hearing, and go on their way, but they are overcome by cares and wealth and the pleasures of life, and they give no fruit.
路8:15 但那落在好土里的，就是人用诚实良善的心来听，把道持守住，忍耐着结出果实。
路8:15 And those in the good earth are those who, having given ear to the word, keep it with a good and true heart, and in quiet strength give fruit.
路8:16 “没有人点灯用器皿盖上，或放在床底下，而是放在灯台上，叫进来的人都看得见光。
路8:16 No man, when the light is lighted, puts a cover over it, or puts it under a bed, but he puts it on its table, so that those who come in may see the light.
路8:17 因为没有什么隐藏的事不被显明，也没有什么掩盖的事不被人知道而暴露出来。
路8:17 For nothing is put out of view which will not be made clear, and nothing is secret of which the knowledge will not come to light.
路8:18 所以你们应当留心怎样听，因为凡是有的，还要给他；凡是没有的，连他自以为有的，也要拿去。”
路8:18 So take care how you give hearing, for to him who has will be given, and from him who has not will be taken even what he seems to have.
路8:19 耶稣的母亲和弟弟来到他那里，因为人多，不能到他跟前。
路8:19 And his mother and his brothers came to him, and they were not able to get near him because of the great number of people.
路8:20 有人转告耶稣：“你母亲和弟弟站在外面要见你。”
路8:20 And someone said to him, Your mother and your brothers are outside desiring to see you.
路8:21 他回答他们：“听了 神的道而遵行的人，才是我的母亲，我的弟兄。”
路8:21 But he said to them in answer, My mother and my brothers are those who have knowledge of the word of God and do it.
路8:22 有一天，耶稣和门徒上了船，他对他们说：“我们渡到海那边去吧。”他们就开了船。
路8:22 Now it came about on one of those days that he got into a boat with his disciples; and he said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the water: and they put out the boat.
路8:23 船行的时候，他睡着了。海上忽然起了狂风，他们全身湿透，非常危险。
路8:23 But while they were sailing he went to sleep: and a storm of wind came down on the sea, and the boat became full of water and they were in danger.
路8:24 门徒来叫醒耶稣，说：“主啊！主啊！我们没命了！”他醒过来，斥责风浪，风浪就止息、平静了。
路8:24 Then they came to him and, awaking him out of his sleep, said, Master, Master, destruction is near. And he, when he was awake, gave orders to the wind and the rolling waves, and the storm came to an end, and all was calm.
路8:25 耶稣对他们说：“你们的信心在哪里？”他们又惧怕、又希奇，彼此说：“这到底是谁？他吩咐风浪，连风浪也听从他。”
路8:25 And he said to them, Where is your faith? And fear and wonder overcame them, and they said to one another, Who then is this, who gives orders even to the winds and the water and they do what he says?
路8:26 船到了格拉森人的地区，正在加利利对面，
路8:26 And they came to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee.
路8:27 耶稣一上岸，就有城里一个被鬼附着的人，迎面而来。这人已经很久不穿衣服，不住在家里，只住在坟墓里。
路8:27 And when he had come to the land, there came to him a certain man from the town who had evil spirits; and for a long time he had had no clothing on, and was not living in a house but in the place of the dead.
路8:28 他一见耶稣，就俯伏喊叫，大声说：“至高 神的儿子耶稣，我跟你有什么关系呢？求你不要使我受苦。”
路8:28 And when he saw Jesus, he gave a loud cry and went down on the earth before him and in a loud voice said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Do not be cruel to me.
路8:29 因为耶稣已经吩咐这污灵从那人身上出来。原来这污灵屡次抓住那人；那人被铁链和脚炼捆锁，而且有人看管，他竟挣断锁炼，被鬼赶入旷野。
路8:29 For he gave an order to the evil spirit to come out of the man. For frequently it would take a grip of him: and he was kept under control, and prisoned with chains; but parting the chains in two, he would be sent by the driving of the evil spirit into waste places.
路8:30 耶稣问他：“你叫什么名字？”他说：“群。”因为进到那人里面的鬼很多。
路8:30 And Jesus said to him, What is your name? And he said, Legion; for a number of spirits had gone into him.
路8:31 他们求耶稣，不要赶他们进入无底坑。
路8:31 And they made a request to him that he would not give them an order to go away into the deep.
路8:32 那里有一大群猪正在山上吃东西。他们求耶稣准他们进入猪群。耶稣准许了，
路8:32 Now there was a great herd of pigs in that place, getting food on the mountain: and the evil spirits made a request to him that he would let them go into the pigs, and he let them.
路8:33 鬼就从那人身上出来，进入猪群，猪群闯下山崖，掉在海里淹死了。
路8:33 And the evil spirits came out of the man and went into the pigs: and the herd went rushing down a sharp slope into the water and came to destruction.
路8:34 放猪的看见所发生的事就逃跑，到城里和各乡村把这事传开。
路8:34 And when the men who took care of them saw what had come about, they went quickly and gave news of it in the town and the country.
路8:35 众人就出来看发生了什么事。来到耶稣那里，看见鬼已经离开的那人，穿着衣服，神志清醒，坐在耶稣脚前，他们就害怕。
路8:35 And they went out to see what had taken place, and they came to Jesus and saw the man out of whom the evil spirits had gone, seated, clothed and with full use of his senses, at the feet of Jesus; and fear came on them.
路8:36 当时看见的人，把被鬼附过的人怎样得到医治，说给他们听。
路8:36 And those who had seen it gave them an account of how the man who had the evil spirits was made well.
路8:37 格拉森一带的人，都要求耶稣离开他们，因为他们大大惧怕。他就上船回去了。
路8:37 And all the people of the country of the Gerasenes made a request to him to go away from them; for they were in great fear: and he got into a boat and went back.
路8:38 鬼已经离开的那人求耶稣，要跟他在一起；但耶稣打发他回去，说：
路8:38 But the man from whom the evil spirits had gone out had a great desire to be with him, but he sent him away, saying,
路8:39 “你回家去，述说 神为你作了怎样的事。”他就走遍全城，传讲耶稣为他作了怎样的事。
路8:39 Go back to your house and let them have news of all the great things which God has done for you. And he went away, giving word through all the town of the great things which Jesus had done for him.
路8:40 耶稣回来的时候，众人欢迎他，因为大家都在等着他。
路8:40 And when Jesus went back, the people were glad to see him, for they were all waiting for him.
路8:41 那时，有一个人来了，名叫叶鲁，他是一位会堂主管。他俯伏在耶稣脚前，求他往他家里去，
路8:41 Then there came a man named Jairus, who was a ruler in the Synagogue: and he went down at the feet of Jesus, desiring him to come to his house;
路8:42 因为他的独生女，约十二岁，快要死了。耶稣去的时候，群众拥挤着他。
路8:42 For he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was near to death. But while he was on his way, the people were pushing to be near him.
路8:43 有一个女人，患了十二年的血漏病，在医生手里花尽了全部养生的（有些抄本无“在医生手里花尽了全部养生的”一句），没有一个能医好她。
路8:43 And a woman, who had had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had given all her money to medical men, and not one of them was able to make her well,
路8:44 她从后面挤来，一摸耶稣的衣裳繸子，血就立刻止住。
路8:44 Came after him and put her hand on the edge of his robe, and straight away the flowing of her blood was stopped.
路8:45 耶稣说：“摸我的是谁？”众人都不承认。彼得说：“主啊，众人都拥挤着你。”
路8:45 And Jesus said, Who was touching me? And when they all said, It is not I, Peter and those who were with him said, Master, the people are pushing round you on every side.
路8:46 耶稣说：“必定有人摸我，因为我觉得有能力从我身上出去。”
路8:46 But Jesus said, Someone was touching me, for I had the feeling that power had gone out from me.
路8:47 那女人见不能隐瞒，就战战兢兢地过来，向他俯伏，把摸他的缘故，和怎样立刻得到医治，在众人面前说出来。
路8:47 And when the woman saw that she was not able to keep it secret, she came, shaking with fear, and falling down before him she made clear before all the people the reason for her touching him, and how she was made well straight away.
路8:48 耶稣对她说：“女儿，你的信使你痊愈了，平安地去吧！”
路8:48 And he said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.
路8:49 耶稣还在说话的时候，有人从会堂主管家里来，说：“你的女儿死了，不必再劳动老师了。”
路8:49 While he was still talking, someone came from the house of the ruler of the Synagogue, saying, Your daughter is dead; do not go on troubling the Master.
路8:50 耶稣听见就对他说：“不要怕，只要信，她必得痊愈。”
路8:50 But Jesus at these words said to him, Have no fear, only have faith, and she will be made well.
路8:51 到了那家，除了彼得、约翰、雅各和女孩的父母以外，他不准任何人同他进屋里去。
路8:51 And when he came to the house he did not let any man go in with him, but only Peter and John and James, and the father of the girl and her mother.
路8:52 众人都在痛哭哀号，他说：“不要哭！她不是死了，而是睡着了。”
路8:52 And all the people were weeping and crying for her; but he said, Do not be sad, for she is not dead, but sleeping.
路8:53 他们明知女孩已经死了，就嘲笑他。
路8:53 And they were laughing at him, being certain that she was dead.
路8:54 他进去拉着女孩的手，叫她说：“孩子，起来！”
路8:54 But he, taking her hand, said to her, My child, get up.
路8:55 她的灵魂回来了，她就立刻起来。耶稣吩咐给她东西吃。
路8:55 And her spirit came back to her and she got up straight away: and he gave orders that food was to be given to her.
路8:56 她父母非常惊奇。耶稣嘱咐他们不要把他所作的事告诉人。
路8:56 And her father and mother were full of wonder, but he gave orders to them to say nothing about it to anyone.
