路9:1 耶稣召齐十二门徒，给他们能力、权柄，制伏一切鬼魔，医治各样的疾病，
路9:1 And getting the twelve together, he gave them power and authority over all evil spirits and over diseases, to make them well.
路9:2 差遣他们去宣讲 神的国和医治病人，
路9:2 And he sent them out to be preachers of the kingdom of God, and to make well those who were ill.
路9:3 对他们说：“不要带着什么上路，不要带手杖，不要带口袋，不要带食物，不要带银钱，也不要带两件衣服。
路9:3 And he said to them, Take nothing for your journey, no stick or bag or bread or money, and do not take two coats.
路9:4 无论进哪一家，就住在那里，直到离开。
路9:4 And if you go into a house, let that house be your resting-place till you go away.
路9:5 凡不接待你们的，你们离开那城的时候，当把脚上的灰尘跺下去，作为反对他们的表示。”
路9:5 And if any people will not take you in, when you go away from that town, put off its dust from your feet for a witness against them.
路9:6 于是他们就出去，走遍各乡，传讲福音，到处医治病人。
路9:6 And they went away, journeying through all the towns, preaching the good news and making people free from diseases in all places.
路9:7 分封王希律听见所发生的一切事，犹豫不定，因为有人说：“约翰从死人中复活了。”
路9:7 Now Herod the king had news of all these things: and he was in doubt, because it was said by some people that John had come back from the dead;
路9:8 又有人说：“以利亚显现了。”还有人说：“古时的一位先知复活了。”
路9:8 And by some, that Elijah had come; and by others, that one of the old prophets had come back to life.
路9:9 希律说：“约翰已经斩头了，但这是谁，我怎么会听到他这些事呢？”就设法要见他。
路9:9 And Herod said, I put John to death: but who is this, of whom such stories are given to me? And he had a desire to see him.
路9:10 使徒们回来，把所作的事报告耶稣。他带着他们，悄悄地退往伯赛大城去。
路9:10 And the twelve, when they came back, gave him an account of what they had done. And he took them with him and went away from the people to a town named Beth-saida.
路9:11 群众知道了，也跟了去。他接待他们，向他们讲论 神的国，医好需要医治的人。
路9:11 But the people, getting news of it, went after him: and he was pleased to see them, and gave them teaching about the kingdom of God, and made those well who were in need of it.
路9:12 天将晚的时候，十二门徒来到他跟前，说：“请解散众人，好让他们往周围的田舍村庄，去找地方住，找东西吃，因为我们这里是旷野。”
路9:12 And the day went on; and the twelve came to him and said, Send these people away so that they may go into the towns and the country round about and get resting-places and food for themselves, for we are in a waste place.
路9:13 他说：“你们给他们吃吧！”他们说：“我们所有的，不过是五个饼两条鱼，除非去为这些人另买食物。”
路9:13 But he said, Give them food yourselves. And they said, We have only five cakes of bread and two fishes, if we do not go and get food for all these people.
路9:14 原来男人就约有五千。他对门徒说：“叫他们一组一组地坐下，每组约五十人。”
路9:14 For there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them be seated in groups, about fifty to a group.
路9:15 门徒就照他的话，叫众人坐下。
路9:15 And they did so, and made them all be seated.
路9:16 耶稣拿起这五个饼，两条鱼，望着天，祝谢了，擘开递给门徒，摆在众人面前。
路9:16 And he took the five cakes of bread and the two fishes and, looking up to heaven, he said words of blessing over them, and when they had been broken, he gave them to the disciples to give to the people.
路9:17 他们都吃饱了，把剩下的零碎拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。
路9:17 And they all took the food and had enough; and they took up of the broken bits which were over, twelve baskets full.
路9:18 有一次耶稣独自祈祷的时候，只有门徒和他在一起。他问他们：“人说我是谁？”
路9:18 And it came about that when he was in prayer, by himself, and the disciples were with him, he put a question to them, saying, Who do the people say I am?
路9:19 他们回答：“有人说是施洗的约翰，有人说是以利亚，还有人说是古时的一位先知复活了。”
路9:19 And they, answering, said, John the Baptist; but others say Elijah; and others, that one of the old prophets has come back.
路9:20 他又问他们：“你们说我是谁？”彼得回答：“是 神的基督！”
路9:20 And he said, But who do you say that I am? And Peter, answering, said, The Christ of God.
路9:21 耶稣郑重地嘱咐他们，不要把这事告诉人。
路9:21 But he gave them special orders, not to say this to any man;
路9:22 又说：“人子必须受许多苦，被长老、祭司长，和经学家弃绝、杀害，第三日复活。”
路9:22 Saying, The Son of man will undergo much and be put on one side by the rulers and the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and be put to death, and on the third day he will come back to life.
路9:23 耶稣又对众人说：“如果有人愿意跟从我，就当舍己，天天背起他的十字架来跟从我。
路9:23 And he said to them all, If any man has a desire to come after me, let him give up all, and take up his cross every day, and come after me.
路9:24 凡是想救自己生命的，必丧掉生命；但为我牺牲自己生命的，必救了生命。
路9:24 For whoever has a desire to keep his life will have it taken from him, but whoever gives up his life because of me, will keep it.
路9:25 人若赚得全世界，却丧失自己，或赔上自己，有什么好处呢？
路9:25 For what profit will a man have if he gets all the world, but undergoes loss or destruction himself?
路9:26 凡是把我和我的道当作可耻的，人子在他与父并圣天使的荣耀里降临的时候，也必把他当作可耻的。
路9:26 For if any man has a feeling of shame because of me or of my words, the Son of man will have shame because of him when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
路9:27 我实在告诉你们，站在这里的，有人在没有尝过死味以前必定要看见 神的国。”
路9:27 But truly I say to you, Some of those who are here now will have no taste of death till they see the kingdom of God.
路9:28 说了这些话以后约有八天，耶稣带着彼得、约翰和雅各，上山去祷告。
路9:28 And about eight days after he had said these things, he took Peter and John and James with him and went up into the mountain for prayer.
路9:29 正祷告的时候，他的面貌就改变了，衣服洁白发光。
路9:29 And while he was in prayer, his face was changed and his clothing became white and shining.
路9:30 忽然有两个人和他谈话，就是摩西和以利亚。
路9:30 And two men, Moses and Elijah, were talking with him;
路9:31 他们在荣光里显现，谈论他去世的事，就是他在耶路撒冷将要完成的。
路9:31 Who were seen in glory and were talking of his death which was about to take place in Jerusalem.
路9:32 彼得和同伴都在打盹。醒过来之后，就看见他的荣光，并与他站在一起的那两个人。
路9:32 Now Peter and those who were with him were overcome with sleep: but when they were fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men who were with him.
路9:33 二人正要离开他的时候，彼得对耶稣说：“主啊，我们在这里真好！我们可以搭三个帐棚，一个为你，一个为摩西，一个为以利亚。”他根本不知道自己在说什么。
路9:33 And when they were about to go away from him, Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here; let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah: having no knowledge of what he was saying.
路9:34 他说这话的时候，有一片云彩笼罩他们，他们入了云彩，门徒就害怕起来。
路9:34 And while he said these things, the shade of a cloud came over them, and they were full of fear when they went into the cloud.
路9:35 有声音从云彩里出来，说：“这是我的儿子，我所拣选的（“这是我的儿子，我所拣选的”有些抄本作“这是我的爱子”），你们要听从他！”
路9:35 And there was a voice from the cloud saying, This is my Son, the man of my selection; give ear to him.
路9:36 声音过了，只见耶稣独自在那里。在那些日子，门徒保持缄默，不把所看见的告诉任何人。
路9:36 And after the voice was gone they saw that Jesus was by himself. And they kept quiet, and said nothing at that time to anyone of the things which they had seen.
路9:37 第二天，他们下了山，有一大群人迎面而来。
路9:37 And on the day after, when they came down from the mountain, a great band of people came to him.
路9:38 在人群中有一个人喊叫说：“老师，求你怜悯我的儿子，因为他是我的独生子。
路9:38 And a man from among them, crying out, said, Master, I make a request to you, give a thought to my son, for he is my only child:
路9:39 你看，污灵一抓住他，他就忽然喊叫，并且抽疯，口吐白沫；污灵又折磨糟践他，不肯放过他。
路9:39 And see, a spirit takes him, and suddenly he gives a cry, twisted in pain and streaming at the lips, and when it goes away from him at last, he is marked as from blows.
路9:40 我求过你的门徒，把他赶出去，他们却办不到。”
路9:40 And I made a request to your disciples to send it out of him, but they were not able to do it.
路9:41 耶稣说：“唉！这不信又乖谬的世代啊！我跟你们在一起，忍受你们，要到几时呢？把你儿子带到这里来吧！”
路9:41 And Jesus said, O generation without faith and false in heart, how long will I have to be with you and put up with you? let your son come here.
路9:42 那孩子正走过来的时候，污鬼把他摔倒，使他重重地抽疯。耶稣斥责那污灵，把孩子医好，交给他父亲。
路9:42 And while he was coming, he was pushed violently down and twisted by the evil spirit. But Jesus gave sharp orders to the unclean spirit, and made the boy well, and gave him back to his father.
路9:43 众人都惊奇 神的大能。众人还在希奇耶稣所作的这一切时，他对门徒说：
路9:43 And they were full of wonder at the great power of God. But while they were all wondering at all the things which he did, he said to his disciples,
路9:44 “你们要把这些话存在心里：人子将要被交在人的手里。”
路9:44 Let these words go deep into your ears, for the Son of man will be given up into the hands of men.
路9:45 门徒不明白这话，因为这话的意思是隐藏的，不让他们明白，他们也不敢问。
路9:45 But this saying was not clear to them and its sense was kept secret from them so that they were not able to see it: and they had fear of questioning him about it.
路9:46 后来，门徒起了意见，争论谁是最大的。
路9:46 Now there was a discussion among them about which of them would be the greatest.
路9:47 耶稣看出他们的心意，就领了一个小孩子来，叫他站在自己旁边，
路9:47 But when Jesus saw the reasoning of their hearts, he took a small child and put him by his side,
路9:48 对他们说：“凡因我的名接待这小孩子的，就是接待我；凡接待我的，就是接待那差我来的。谁是你们中间最小的，那人就是最大的。”
路9:48 And said to them, Whoever gives honour to this child in my name, gives honour to me: and whoever gives honour to me, gives honour to him who sent me: for whoever is least among you all, that man is great.
路9:49 约翰说：“主，我们看见有一个人奉你的名赶鬼，就禁止他，因为他不和我们一起跟从你。”
路9:49 And John, answering, said, Master, we saw a man driving out evil spirits in your name, and we did not let him do it, because he was not one of us.
路9:50 耶稣说：“不要禁止他，因为不反对你们的，就是赞成你们的。”
路9:50 But Jesus said to him, Let him do it, for he who is not against you is for you.
路9:51 耶稣被接上升的日子快到了，他就决意向耶路撒冷去，
路9:51 And it came about that when the days were near for him to be taken up, his face was turned to go to Jerusalem,
路9:52 并且差遣使者走在前头；他们去了，进入撒玛利亚的一个村庄，要为他预备。
路9:52 And he sent men before: and they came to a small town of Samaria to make ready for him.
路9:53 那里的人不接待他，因为他面向着耶路撒冷走。
路9:53 But they would not have him there, because he was clearly going to Jerusalem.
路9:54 他的门徒雅各、约翰看见了，就说：“主啊，你要我们吩咐火从天降下来，烧灭他们吗？”
路9:54 And when his disciples, James and John, saw this, they said, Lord, may we send fire from heaven and put an end to them?
路9:55 耶稣就转过身来，责备他们，
路9:55 But turning round he said sharp words to them.
路9:56 然后他们就往别的村庄去了。
路9:56 And they went to another small town.
路9:57 他们走路的时候，有一个人对他说：“你无论往哪里去，我都要跟从你！”
路9:57 And when they were on the way, a certain man said to him, I will come after you wherever you go.
路9:58 耶稣说：“狐狸有洞，天空的飞鸟有窝，人子却没有栖身的地方。”
路9:58 And Jesus said to him, Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have resting-places, but the Son of man has nowhere to put his head.
路9:59 他对另一个人说：“你跟从我吧！”那人说：“主啊，请准我先回去安葬我的父亲吧。”
路9:59 And he said to another, Come after me. But he said, Lord, let me first go and give the last honours to my father.
路9:60 耶稣说：“让死人去埋葬他们的死人，你应该去传扬 神的国。”
路9:60 But he said to him, Let the dead take care of their dead; it is for you to go and give news of the kingdom of God.
路9:61 又有一个人说：“主，我要跟从你，但容我先回去，向家人道别。”
路9:61 And another man said, I will come with you, Lord, but first let me say a last good-day to those who are at my house.
路9:62 耶稣说：“手扶着犁向后看的，不适合进 神的国。”
路9:62 But Jesus said, No man, having put his hand to the plough and looking back, is good enough for the kingdom of God.
