路19:1 耶稣进了耶利哥，正经过的时候，
路19:1 And he went into Jericho, and when he was going through it,
路19:2 有一个人名叫撒该，是税吏长，又很富有。
路19:2 A man, named Zacchaeus, who was the chief tax-farmer, and a man of wealth,
路19:3 他想看看耶稣是怎么样的，因为人多，他又身材矮小，就看不见。
路19:3 Made an attempt to get a view of Jesus, and was not able to do so, because of the people, for he was a small man.
路19:4 于是他跑到前头，爬上一棵桑树，要看看耶稣，因为耶稣就要从那里经过。
路19:4 And he went quickly in front of them and got up into a tree to see him, for he was going that way.
路19:5 耶稣到了那里，往上一看，对他说：“撒该，快下来，今天我要住在你家里。”
路19:5 And when Jesus came to the place, looking up, he said to him, Zacchaeus, be quick and come down, for I am coming to your house today.
路19:6 他就赶快下来，欢欢喜喜地接待耶稣。
路19:6 And he came down quickly, and took him into his house with joy.
路19:7 众人看见就纷纷议论说：“他竟到罪人家里去住宿！”
路19:7 And when they saw it, they were all angry, saying, He has gone into the house of a sinner.
路19:8 撒该站着对主说：“主啊，请看，我要把家财的一半分给穷人，我若敲诈了谁，就还他四倍。”
路19:8 And Zacchaeus, waiting before him, said to the Lord, See, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor, and if I have taken anything from anyone wrongly, I give him back four times as much.
路19:9 耶稣说：“今天救恩到了这家，他也是亚伯拉罕的子孙。
路19:9 And Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, for even he is a son of Abraham.
路19:10 因为人子来，是要寻找拯救失丧的人。”
路19:10 For the Son of man came to make search for those who are wandering from the way, and to be their Saviour.
路19:11 众人听这些话的时候，因为耶稣已经接近耶路撒冷，又因他们以为 神的国快要出现，他就讲了一个比喻，
路19:11 And while they were giving ear to these words, he made another story for them, because he was near Jerusalem, and because they were of the opinion that the kingdom of God was coming straight away.
路19:12 说：“有一个贵族往远方去要接受王位，然后回来。
路19:12 So he said, A certain man of high birth went into a far-away country to get a kingdom for himself, and to come back.
路19:13 他叫了自己的十个仆人来，给他们一千银币，说：‘你们拿去作生意，等到我回来。’
路19:13 And he sent for ten of his servants and gave them ten pounds and said to them, Do business with this till I come.
路19:14 他本国的人却恨他，就派使者跟着去说：‘我们不愿意这个人作王统治我们。’
路19:14 But his people had no love for him, and sent representatives after him, saying, We will not have this man for our ruler.
路19:15 他得了王位回来，就吩咐把那些领了钱的仆人召来，要知道他们作生意赚了多少。
路19:15 And when he came back again, having got his kingdom, he gave orders for those servants to whom he had given the money to come to him, so that he might have an account of what business they had done.
路19:16 第一个走过来说：‘主啊，你的一百银币，已经赚了一千。’
路19:16 And the first came before him, saying, Lord, your pound has made ten pounds.
路19:17 主人说：‘好，良善的仆人，你既然在最小的事上忠心，可以有权管理十座城。’
路19:17 And he said to him, You have done well, O good servant: because you have done well in a small thing you will have authority over ten towns.
路19:18 第二个来说：‘主啊，你的一百银币，已经赚了五百。’
路19:18 And another came, saying, Your pound has made five pounds.
路19:19 主人说：‘你可以管理五座城。’
路19:19 And he said, You will be ruler over five towns.
路19:20 另一个来说：‘主啊，你看，你的一百银币，我一直保存在手巾里，
路19:20 And another came, saying, Lord, here is your pound, which I put away in a cloth;
路19:21 因为我怕你，你一向是严厉的人，没有存的要提取，没有种的要收割。’
路19:21 Because I was in fear of you, for you are a hard man: you take up what you have not put down, and get in grain where you have not put seed.
路19:22 主人说：‘可恶的仆人！我要凭你的口定你的罪。你知道我是严厉的人，没有存的要提取，没有种的要收割吗？
路19:22 He said to him, By the words of your mouth you will be judged, you bad servant. You had knowledge that I am a hard man, taking up what I have not put down and getting in grain where I have not put seed;
路19:23 那你为什么不把我的钱存入银行，等我回来的时候，把它连本带利取回来呢？’
路19:23 Why then did you not put my money in a bank, so that when I came I would get it back with interest?
路19:24 他就对侍卫说：‘夺过他的一百银币，给那有一千的。’
路19:24 And he said to the others who were near, Take the pound away from him, and give it to the man who has ten.
路19:25 他们说：‘主啊，他已经有一千银币了。’
路19:25 And they say to him, Lord, he has ten pounds.
路19:26 主人说：‘我告诉你们，凡是有的，还要给他；没有的，就算他有什么也要拿去。
路19:26 And I say to you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
路19:27 至于我那些仇敌，就是不愿意我作王统治他们的，把他们拉到这里来，在我面前杀掉！’”
路19:27 And as for those who were against me, who would not have me for their ruler, let them come here, and be put to death before me.
路19:28 耶稣讲完这些话，就往前走，上耶路撒冷去。
路19:28 And when he had said this, he went on in front of them, going up to Jerusalem.
路19:29 将到伯法其和伯大尼，就在橄榄山那里，他差派两个门徒，
路19:29 And it came about that when he got near Beth-phage and Bethany by the mountain which is named the Mountain of Olives, he sent two of the disciples,
路19:30 说：“你们往对面的村子里去，就会看见一头从来没有人骑过的小驴，拴在那里，把牠解开牵来。
路19:30 Saying, Go into the little town in front of you, and on going in you will see a young ass fixed with a cord, on which no man has ever been seated; let him loose and take him.
路19:31 如果有人问为什么解开牠，你们要这样说：‘主需要牠。’”
路19:31 And if anyone says to you, Why are you taking him? say, The Lord has need of him.
路19:32 被差的人去了，发现和主所说的一样。
路19:32 And those whom he sent went away, and it was as he said.
路19:33 他们解开小驴的时候，主人问他们：“你们为什么解开牠？”
路19:33 And when they were getting the young ass, the owners of it said to them, Why are you taking the young ass?
路19:34 他们说：“主需要牠。”
路19:34 And they said, The Lord has need of him.
路19:35 他们把小驴牵到耶稣那里，把自己的衣服搭在上面，扶着耶稣上去。
路19:35 And they took him to Jesus, and they put their clothing on the ass, and Jesus got on to him.
路19:36 耶稣前行的时候，众人把自己的衣服铺在路上。
路19:36 And while he went on his way they put their clothing down on the road in front of him.
路19:37 他走近耶路撒冷，快要下橄榄山的时候，全体门徒因为所看见的一切神迹，就欢乐起来，大声赞美 神，
路19:37 And when he came near the foot of the Mountain of Olives, all the disciples with loud voices gave praise to God with joy, because of all the great works which they had seen;
路19:38 说：“奉主名来的王，是应当称颂的！在天上有和平，在至高之处有荣耀！”
路19:38 Saying, A blessing on the King who comes in the name of the Lord; peace in heaven and glory in the highest.
路19:39 群众中有几个法利赛人对他说：“先生，责备你的门徒吧！”
路19:39 And some of the Pharisees among the people said to him, Master, make your disciples be quiet.
路19:40 耶稣说：“我告诉你们，他们若不出声，石头都要呼叫了。”
路19:40 And he said in answer, I say to you, if these men keep quiet, the very stones will be crying out.
路19:41 耶稣走近耶路撒冷的时候，看见了城，就为城哀哭，
路19:41 And when he got near and saw the town, he was overcome with weeping for it,
路19:42 说：“巴不得你在这日子，知道关于你平安的事，但现在这事在你眼前是隐藏的。
路19:42 Saying, If you, even you, had knowledge today, of the things which give peace! but you are not able to see them.
路19:43 日子将到，你的仇敌必筑垒攻击你，周围环绕你，四面困住你，
路19:43 For the time will come when your attackers will put a wall round you, and come all round you and keep you in on every side,
路19:44 要摧毁你和你里面的儿女，没有一块石头留在另一块石头上面，因为你不知道那眷顾你的时期。”
路19:44 And will make you level with the earth, and your children with you; and there will not be one stone resting on another in you, because you did not see that it was your day of mercy.
路19:45 耶稣进了圣殿，就赶走作买卖的人，
路19:45 And he went into the Temple and put out those who were trading there,
路19:46 对他们说：“经上记着：‘我的殿是祷告的殿’，你们竟把它弄成贼窝了。”
路19:46 Saying to them, It has been said, My house is to be a house of prayer, but you have made it a hole of thieves.
路19:47 他天天在圣殿里教导人，祭司长、经学家和民间的首领，都想杀害他；
路19:47 And every day he was teaching in the Temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the rulers of the people were attempting to put him to death;
路19:48 但他们不知道要怎样下手，因为众人都围着他，听他的教训。
路19:48 But they were not able to do anything, because the people all kept near him, being greatly interested in his words.
