路16:1 耶稣又对门徒说：“有一个财主的管家，有人在他主人面前告他浪费主人的财物。
路16:1 And another time he said to the disciples, There was a certain man of great wealth who had a servant; and it was said to him that this servant was wasting his goods.
路16:2 主人把他叫来，对他说：‘我听见关于你的是怎么一回事呢？把你管理的账目交代清楚，因为你不能再作管家了。’
路16:2 And he sent for him and said, What is this which is said about you? give me an account of all you have done, for you will no longer be the manager of my property.
路16:3 那管家心里说：‘主人不要我再作管家了，我作什么才好呢？锄地吧，没有力气！讨饭吧，怕羞！
路16:3 And the servant said to himself, What am I to do now that my lord takes away my position? I have not enough strength for working in the fields, and I would be shamed if I made requests for money from people in the streets.
路16:4 我知道要怎么作了，好使人在我离开管家的职务以后，接我到他们家里去。’
路16:4 I have come to a decision what to do, so that when I am put out of my position they will take me into their houses.
路16:5 于是把欠他主人债的人，一个一个地叫来，问头一个说：‘你欠我主人多少？’
路16:5 And sending for every one who was in debt to his lord he said to the first, What is the amount of your debt to my lord?
路16:6 他说：‘四千公升油。’管家说：‘拿你的欠单去，快坐下写二千。’
路16:6 And he said, A hundred measures of oil. And he said, Take your account straight away and put down fifty.
路16:7 又问一个说：‘你欠多少？’他说：‘四万公升麦子。’管家说：‘拿你的欠单去，写三万。’
路16:7 Then he said to another, What is the amount of your debt? And he said, A hundred measures of grain. And he said to him, Take your account and put down eighty.
路16:8 主人就夸奖这不义的管家作事机警；因为在应付自己的世事上，今世之子比光明之子更精明。
路16:8 And his lord was pleased with the false servant, because he had been wise; for the sons of this world are wiser in relation to their generation than the sons of light.
路16:9 我告诉你们，要用不义的钱财去结交朋友，好叫钱财无用的时候，他们可以接你们到永恒的帐棚里。
路16:9 And I say to you, Make friends for yourselves through the wealth of this life, so that when it comes to an end, you may be taken into the eternal resting-places.
路16:10 在最小的事上忠心的，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义的，在大事上也不义。
路16:10 He who is true in a little, is true in much; he who is false in small things, is false in great.
路16:11 如果你们在不义的钱财上不忠心，谁还把真实的钱财托付给你们呢？
路16:11 If, then, you have not been true in your use of the wealth of this life, who will give into your care the true wealth?
路16:12 如果你们在别人的东西上不忠心，谁还把你们自己的东西交给你们呢？
路16:12 And if you have not been true in your care of the property of other people, who will give you that which is yours?
路16:13 “一个家仆不能服事两个主人；他若不是恨这个爱那个，就是忠于这个轻视那个。你们不能服事 神，又服事金钱。”
路16:13 No man may be a servant to two masters: for he will have hate for the one and love for the other; or he will keep to the one and have no respect for the other. You may not be servants of God and of wealth.
路16:14 贪财的法利赛人听见这些话，就嗤笑耶稣。
路16:14 And the Pharisees, who had a great love of money, hearing these things, were making sport of him.
路16:15 耶稣对他们说：“你们在人面前自称为义， 神却知道你们的心；因为人所高举的， 神却看作是可憎恶的。
路16:15 And he said, You take care to seem right in the eyes of men, but God sees your hearts: and those things which are important in the opinion of men, are evil in the eyes of God.
路16:16 律法和先知到约翰就结束了。从此， 神的国的福音就传开了，人人都要努力进去。
路16:16 The law and the prophets were till John: but then came the preaching of the kingdom of God, and everyone makes his way into it by force.
路16:17 天地过去，要比律法的一点一画失效还容易呢。
路16:17 But heaven and earth will come to an end before the smallest letter of the law may be dropped out.
路16:18 凡休妻另娶的，就犯了奸淫；娶被丈夫所休的，也是犯了奸淫。
路16:18 Everyone who puts away his wife and takes another, is a false husband: and he who is married to a woman whose husband has put her away, is no true husband to her.
路16:19 “有一个财主，身穿紫色袍和细麻衣，天天奢华宴乐。
路16:19 Now there was a certain man of great wealth, who was dressed in fair clothing of purple and delicate linen, and was shining and glad every day.
路16:20 又有一个乞丐，名叫拉撒路，满身是疮，被人放在财主门口，
路16:20 And a certain poor man, named Lazarus, was stretched out at his door, full of wounds,
路16:21 想得财主桌子上掉下来的零碎充饥；并且有狗来舔他的疮。
路16:21 Desiring the broken bits of food which came from the table of the man of wealth; and even the dogs came and put their tongues on his wounds.
路16:22 后来乞丐死了，被天使送到亚伯拉罕的怀里。那财主也死了，并且埋葬了。
路16:22 And in time the poor man came to his end, and angels took him to Abraham's breast. And the man of wealth came to his end, and was put in the earth.
路16:23 财主在阴间受痛苦，举目远远望见亚伯拉罕，和他怀里的拉撒路，
路16:23 And in hell, being in great pain, lifting up his eyes he saw Abraham, far away, and Lazarus on his breast.
路16:24 就喊着说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕啊，可怜我吧！打发拉撒路来用指头蘸点水，凉凉我的舌头吧！因为我在这火焰里非常痛苦。’
路16:24 And he gave a cry and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may put the end of his finger in water and put it on my tongue, for I am cruelly burning in this flame.
路16:25 亚伯拉罕说：‘孩子，你应该回想你生前享过福，同样拉撒路受过苦，现在他在这里得安慰，你却要受苦了。
路16:25 But Abraham said, Keep in mind, my son, that when you were living, you had your good things, while Lazarus had evil things: but now, he is comforted and you are in pain.
路16:26 不但这样，我们与你们之间，有深渊隔开，人想从这边过到你们那里是不可能的，从那边过到我们这边也是不可能的。’
路16:26 And in addition, there is a deep division fixed between us and you, so that those who might go from here to you are not able to do so, and no one may come from you to us.
路16:27 那人说：‘我祖啊，那么求你差遣拉撒路到我家里去，
路16:27 And he said, Father, it is my request that you will send him to my father's house;
路16:28 因为我有五个兄弟，他可以警告他们，免得他们也到这受苦的地方来。’
路16:28 For I have five brothers; and let him give them an account of these things, so that they may not come to this place of pain.
路16:29 亚伯拉罕说：‘他们有摩西和先知可以听从。’
路16:29 But Abraham said, They have Moses and the prophets; let them give ear to what they say.
路16:30 他说：‘不然，我祖亚伯拉罕啊，如果有人从死人中复活，到他们那里去，他们必定会悔改。’
路16:30 And he said, No, father Abraham, but if someone went to them from the dead, their hearts would be changed.
路16:31 亚伯拉罕说：‘如果他们不听从摩西和先知，就算有一个从死人中复活的人，他们也不会接受劝告。’”
路16:31 And he said to him, If they will not give attention to Moses and the prophets, they will not be moved even if someone comes back from the dead.
