耶24:1 巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒把犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅，和犹大的众领袖、工匠与铁匠从耶路撒冷掳到巴比伦去。这事以后，耶和华使我看见在耶和华的殿前面摆着两筐无花果。
耶24:1 The Lord gave me a vision, and I saw two baskets full of figs put in front of the Temple of the Lord, after Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, had taken prisoner Jeconiah, the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the chiefs of Judah, and the expert workmen and metal-workers from Jerusalem, and had taken them to Babylon.
耶24:2 一筐是极好的无花果，像初熟的无花果；另一筐是极坏的无花果，坏到不能吃。
耶24:2 One basket had very good figs, like the figs which first come to growth: and the other basket had very bad figs, so bad that they were of no use for food.
耶24:3 于是耶和华问我：“耶利米啊，你看见什么？”我回答：“我看见无花果。那些好的无花果极好，坏的却极坏，坏到不能吃。”
耶24:3 Then the Lord said to me, What do you see, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs are very good, and the bad very bad, and of no use for food, they are so bad.
耶24:4 耶和华的话临到我，说：
耶24:4 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
耶24:5 “耶和华以色列的 神这样说：‘被掳去的犹大人，就是我打发离开这地方到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看他们如同这些好的无花果一样，眷顾他们。
耶24:5 This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, has said: Like these good figs, so in my eyes will be the prisoners of Judah, whom I have sent from this place into the land of the Chaldaeans for their good.
耶24:6 我必关注他们，眷顾他们，领他们归回这地。我必建立他们，必不拆毁；我必栽植他们，必不拔除。
耶24:6 For I will keep my eyes on them for good, and I will take them back again to this land, building them up and not pulling them down, planting them and not uprooting them.
耶24:7 我必赐给他们一颗认识我的心，知道我就是耶和华；他们要作我的子民，我要亲自作他们的 神，因为他们必一心归向我。’”
耶24:7 And I will give them a heart to have knowledge of me, that I am the Lord: and they will be my people, and I will be their God: for they will come back to me with all their heart.
耶24:8 “但耶和华这样说：‘我怎样处置那些坏到不能吃的坏无花果，我也必照样对待犹大王西底家、他的众领袖和耶路撒冷的余民，不论是余剩在这地的，或是住在埃及地的。
耶24:8 And like the bad figs which are so bad that they are of no use for food, so I will give up Zedekiah, king of Judah, and his chiefs and the rest of Jerusalem who are still in this land, and those who are in the land of Egypt:
耶24:9 我必使他们成为地上万国所惊恐、所讨厌的；在我赶逐他们到的各地方，成为被人羞辱、讥笑、嘲弄、咒诅的对象。
耶24:9 I will give them up to be a cause of fear and of trouble among all the kingdoms of the earth; to be a name of shame and common talk and a cutting word and a curse in all the places wherever I will send them wandering.
耶24:10 我必打发刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫去攻击他们，直到他们从我赐给他们和他们列祖的土地上都消灭了。’”
耶24:10 And I will send the sword, and need of food, and disease, among them till they are all cut off from the land which I gave to them and to their fathers.
