耶28:1 当年，就是犹大王西底家开始执政的第四年五月，基遍人押朔的儿子哈拿尼雅先知，在耶和华殿中，当着祭司和众民的面前对我说：
耶28:1 And it came about in that year, when Zedekiah first became king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah, the son of Azzur the prophet, who came from Gibeon, said to Jeremiah in the house of the Lord, before the priests and all the people,
耶28:2 “万军之耶和华以色列的 神这样说：‘我已经折断了巴比伦王的轭。
耶28:2 These are the words of the Lord of armies, the God of Israel: By me the yoke of the king of Babylon has been broken.
耶28:3 在两年之内，我必把耶和华殿中的一切器皿，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒从这地方掠到巴比伦去的，都带回这地方。
耶28:3 In the space of two years I will send back into this place all the vessels of the Lord's house which Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, took away from this place to Babylon:
耶28:4 我也必把犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅，和所有被掳到巴比伦去的犹大人，都带回这地方，因为我必折断巴比伦王的轭。’这是耶和华的宣告。”
耶28:4 And I will let Jeconiah, the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, come back to this place, with all the prisoners of Judah who went to Babylon, says the Lord: for I will have the yoke of the king of Babylon broken.
耶28:5 耶利米先知当着祭司和站在耶和华殿里的众民面前，对哈拿尼雅先知说：
耶28:5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, before the priests and all the people who had come into the house of the Lord,
耶28:6 “阿们！愿耶和华这样行，愿耶和华使你预言的话应验，把耶和华殿中的器皿和所有被掳的人，都从巴比伦带回这地方来。
耶28:6 The prophet Jeremiah said, So be it: may the Lord do so: may the Lord give effect to the words which you have said, and let the vessels of the Lord's house, and all the people who have been taken away, come back from Babylon to this place.
耶28:7 不过，你应该听我向你和众民耳中所说的这话。
耶28:7 But still, give ear to this word which I am saying to you and to all the people:
耶28:8 自古以来，在你我以前的先知，已经预言有战争、灾祸和瘟疫要临到许多地方和强国。
耶28:8 The prophets, who were before me and before you, from early times gave word to a number of countries and great kingdoms about war and destruction and disease.
耶28:9 但预言平安的先知，除非他的话应验，人才会承认他确实是耶和华所差遣的先知。”
耶28:9 The prophet whose words are of peace, when his words come true, will be seen to be a prophet whom the Lord has sent.
耶28:10 于是哈拿尼雅先知把耶利米先知颈项上的轭取下来，折断了。
耶28:10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and it was broken by his hands.
耶28:11 哈拿尼雅又当着众民面前说：“耶和华这样说：‘两年之内，我必这样从列国的颈项上，折断巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的轭。’”于是耶利米先知就走了。
耶28:11 And before all the people Hananiah said, The Lord has said, Even so will I let the yoke of the king of Babylon be broken off the necks of all the nations in the space of two years. Then the prophet Jeremiah went away.
耶28:12 哈拿尼雅先知把耶利米先知颈项上的轭折断了以后，耶和华的话就临到耶利米，说：
耶28:12 Then after the yoke had been broken off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah by Hananiah the prophet, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
耶28:13 “你去告诉哈拿尼雅说：‘耶和华这样说：你折断了木轭，却要换来铁轭。
耶28:13 Go and say to Hananiah, This is what the Lord has said: Yokes of wood have been broken by you, but in their place I will make yokes of iron.
耶28:14 因为万军之耶和华以色列的 神这样说：我要把铁轭套在这些国家的颈项上，使他们服事巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；他们要服事他，连田野的走兽，我也交给他了。’”
耶28:14 For the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: I have put a yoke of iron on the necks of all these nations, making them servants to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon; and they are to be his servants: and in addition I have given him the beasts of the field.
耶28:15 耶利米先知就对哈拿尼雅先知说：“哈拿尼雅啊！你要听，耶和华并没有差遣你，你竟使这人民信靠谎言。
耶28:15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, Give ear, now, Hananiah; the Lord has not sent you; but you are making this people put their faith in what is false.
耶28:16 因此耶和华这样说：‘看哪！我必使你离开人世；你今年一定死，因为你说了悖逆耶和华的话。’”
耶28:16 For this reason the Lord has said, See, I will send you away from off the face of the earth: this year death will overtake you, because you have said words against the Lord.
耶28:17 这样，在当年七月，哈拿尼雅先知就死了。
耶28:17 So death came to Hananiah the prophet the same year, in the seventh month.
