耶43:1 耶利米向众民说完了耶和华他们的 神吩咐他的一切话，就是耶和华他们的 神差遣他去对他们说的一切话。
耶43:1 And it came about that when Jeremiah had come to the end of giving all the people the words of the Lord their God, which the Lord their God had sent him to say to them, even all these words,
耶43:2 何沙雅的儿子亚撒利雅，和加利亚的儿子约哈难，以及所有狂傲的人，就对耶利米说：“你在说谎！耶和华我们的 神并没有差遣你来说：‘你们不可去埃及，在那里寄居。’
耶43:2 Then Azariah, the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the men of pride, said to Jeremiah, You have said what is false: the Lord our God has not sent you to say, You are not to go into the land of Egypt and make your living-place there:
耶43:3 只是尼利亚的儿子巴录怂恿你来反对我们，为要把我们交在迦勒底人的手中，好使我们被杀害，或被掳到巴比伦去。”
耶43:3 But Baruch, the son of Neriah, is moving you against us, to give us up into the hands of the Chaldaeans so that they may put us to death, and take us away prisoners into Babylon.
耶43:4 于是加利亚的儿子约哈难和众将领，以及众民，都不听从耶和华要他们留在犹大地的命令。
耶43:4 So Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, did not give ear to the order of the Lord that they were to go on living in the land of Judah.
耶43:5 相反地，加利亚的儿子约哈难和众将领却率领犹大所有余剩的人，就是那些从被赶逐到各国回来住在犹大地的，
耶43:5 But Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces took all the rest of Judah who had come back into the land of Judah from all the nations where they had been forced to go;
耶43:6 包括男人、女人、孩童和王的众公主，以及护卫长尼布撒拉旦留给沙番的孙子、亚希甘的儿子基大利管理的众人，还有耶利米先知和尼利亚的儿子巴录，
耶43:6 The men and the women and the children and the king's daughters, and every person whom Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, had put under the care of Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch, the son of Neriah;
耶43:7 把他们都带进埃及地，去到答比匿，没有听从耶和华的话。
耶43:7 And they came into the land of Egypt; for they did not give ear to the voice of the Lord: and they came to Tahpanhes.
耶43:8 在答比匿耶和华的话临到耶利米，说：
耶43:8 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
耶43:9 “你要在犹大人眼前亲手拿几块大石头，埋藏在答比匿法老宫殿门前砖窑的灰泥中；
耶43:9 Take in your hand some great stones, and put them in a safe place in the paste in the brickwork which is at the way into Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, before the eyes of the men of Judah;
耶43:10 然后对他们说：‘万军之耶和华以色列的 神这样说：看哪！我要派人去领我的仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒来；我要在我所埋藏的这些石头上安设他的王位；他必在上面张开他的帐篷。
耶43:10 And say to them, This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: See, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant, and he will put the seat of his kingdom on these stones which have been put in a safe place here by you; and his tent will be stretched over them.
耶43:11 他必来攻打埃及地；那些注定死亡的，必要死亡；那些注定被掳的，必要被掳；那些注定被刀杀的，必被刀杀。
耶43:11 And he will come and overcome the land of Egypt; those who are for death will be put to death, those who are to be prisoners will be made prisoners, and those who are for the sword will be given to the sword.
耶43:12 他（“他”按照《马索拉抄本》应作“我”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译）必焚烧埃及的神庙，把它们烧毁，并且掳掠；他必得着埃及地，好像牧人披上衣服那么容易；他必安然离开那里。
耶43:12 And he will put a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and they will be burned by him: and he will make Egypt clean as a keeper of sheep makes clean his clothing; and he will go out from there in peace.
耶43:13 他必打碎埃及地伯．示麦（“伯．示麦”或译：“太阳神庙”）的神柱，放火烧毁埃及神庙。’”
耶43:13 And the stone pillars of Beth-shemesh in the land of Egypt will be broken by him, and the houses of the gods of Egypt burned with fire.
