耶39:1 犹大王西底家第九年十月，巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒率领他的全军来攻击耶路撒冷，把城围困起来。
耶39:1 And it came about, that when Jerusalem was taken, (in the ninth year of Zedekiah, king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, with all his army, came against Jerusalem, shutting it in on every side;
耶39:2 西底家第十一年四月九日，城被攻破。
耶39:2 In the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the town was broken into:)
耶39:3 巴比伦王所有的将领：尼甲．沙利薛、三甲．尼波、大臣（“大臣”的本意不明确）撒西金、术士长（“术士长”的本意不明确）尼甲．沙利薛，以及巴比伦王所有其余的将领，都进城，坐在中门。
耶39:3 All the captains of the king of Babylon came in and took their places in the middle doorway of the town, Nergal-shar-ezer, ruler of Sin-magir, the Rabmag, and Nebushazban, the Rab-saris, and all the captains of the king of Babylon.
耶39:4 犹大王西底家和所有的军兵看见了他们，就逃跑，在夜间逃出城外，经过王的花园，穿过两道城墙中间的门，直往亚拉巴的路上走去。
耶39:4 And when Zedekiah, king of Judah, and all the men of war saw it, they went in flight from the town by night, by the way of the king's garden, through the doorway between the two walls: and they went out by the Arabah.
耶39:5 但迦勒底人的军队追赶他们，在耶利哥的原野上追上了西底家，把他拿住，带到哈马地的利比拉去见巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；尼布甲尼撒就宣判他的罪状。
耶39:5 But the Chaldaean army went after them and overtook Zedekiah in the lowlands of Jericho: and they made him a prisoner and took him up to Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, to Riblah in the land of Hamath, to be judged by him.
耶39:6 巴比伦王在利比拉，当着西底家眼前杀了他的众子；巴比伦王也杀了犹大所有的显贵，
耶39:6 Then the king of Babylon put the sons of Zedekiah to death before his eyes in Riblah: and the king of Babylon put to death all the great men of Judah.
耶39:7 并且把西底家的眼睛弄瞎了，用铜炼锁住他，把他带到巴比伦去。
耶39:7 And more than this, he put out Zedekiah's eyes, and had him put in chains to take him away to Babylon.
耶39:8 迦勒底人放火焚烧王宫和民房，又拆毁了耶路撒冷的城墙。
耶39:8 And the Chaldaeans put the king's house on fire, as well as the houses of the people, and had the walls of Jerusalem broken down.
耶39:9 城里剩下的人民，和那些已经向巴比伦王投降的人，以及其余的人民，都被护卫长尼布撒拉旦掳到巴比伦去。
耶39:9 Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took away to Babylon as prisoners, all the rest of the workmen who were still in the town, as well as those who had given themselves up to him, and all the rest of the people.
耶39:10 但护卫长尼布撒拉旦把民中一些一无所有的穷人留在犹大地，同时把葡萄园和田地分给他们。
耶39:10 But Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, let the poorest of the people, who had nothing whatever, go on living in the land of Judah, and gave them vine-gardens and fields at the same time.
耶39:11 巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒提到耶利米，吩咐护卫长尼布撒拉旦说：
耶39:11 Now Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, gave orders about Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, saying,
耶39:12 “你把他带去，好好照顾他，切不可伤害他；他对你怎样说，你就给他照办。”
耶39:12 Take him and keep an eye on him and see that no evil comes to him; but do with him whatever he says to you.
耶39:13 于是护卫长尼布撒拉旦、大臣（“大臣”的本意不明确）尼布沙斯班、术士长（“术士长”的本意不明确）尼甲．沙利薛，以及巴比伦王所有的大臣都派人去，
耶39:13 So Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, sent Nebushazban, the Rab-saris, and Nergal-shar-ezer, the Rabmag, and all the chief captains of the king of Babylon,
耶39:14 把耶利米从卫兵的院子里提出来，交给沙番的孙子、亚希甘的儿子基大利，叫他带耶利米回家去。这样，耶利米就住在人民中间。
耶39:14 And they sent and took Jeremiah out of the place of the watchmen, and gave him into the care of Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him to his house: so he was living among the people.
耶39:15 耶利米还监禁在卫兵的院子里的时候，耶和华的话临到他，说：
耶39:15 Now the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah while he was shut up in the place of the armed watchmen, saying,
耶39:16 “你去告诉古实人以伯．米勒说：‘万军之耶和华以色列的 神这样说：看哪！我必在这城实现我的话，降祸不降福；到那日，这一切都必在你面前实现。
耶39:16 Go and say to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: See, my words will come true for this town, for evil and not for good: they will come about before your eyes on that day.
耶39:17 但到了那日，我必拯救你；你必不至交在你所惧怕的人手里。’这是耶和华的宣告。
耶39:17 But I will keep you safe on that day, says the Lord: you will not be given into the hands of the men you are fearing.
耶39:18 ‘因为我必定搭救你；你必不会倒在刀下，必可以捡回自己的性命，因为你信靠我。’”这是耶和华的宣告。
耶39:18 For I will certainly let you go free, and you will not be put to the sword, but your life will be given to you out of the hands of your attackers: because you have put your faith in me, says the Lord.
