徒14:1 保罗和巴拿巴在以哥念照样进犹太的会堂讲道，结果一大群犹太人和希腊人都信了。
徒14:1 Now in Iconium they went together to the Synagogue of the Jews and gave such teaching that a great number of Jews and Greeks had faith.
徒14:2 但不顺从的犹太人，煽动外族人，激起他们仇恨的心，来反对弟兄们。
徒14:2 But those Jews who had not the faith, made the minds of the Gentiles bitter against the brothers.
徒14:3 两人却仍住了很久，靠着主放胆讲论，主也借着他们的手行神迹奇事，证实他恩惠的道。
徒14:3 So they kept there for a long time, taking heart in the Lord, who gave witness to the word of his grace by causing signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
徒14:4 城里众人就分裂了，有的附从犹太人，也有的附从使徒。
徒14:4 But there was a division among the people of the town; some were on the side of the Jews and some on the side of the Apostles.
徒14:5 当时，外族人、犹太人，和他们的首领，蠢蠢欲动，想要侮辱使徒，用石头打他们。
徒14:5 And when a violent attempt was made by the Gentiles and the Jews, with their rulers, to make an attack on them and have them stoned,
徒14:6 两人知道了，就逃往吕高尼的路司得和特庇两城，以及周围的地方，
徒14:6 Having got news of it, they went in flight to the towns of Lycaonia, Lystra, and Derbe, and the country round about:
徒14:7 在那里传福音。
徒14:7 And went on preaching the good news there.
徒14:8 路司得城有一个双脚无力的人，坐在那里。他生来就是瘸腿的，从来没有走过路。
徒14:8 And at Lystra there was a certain man, who from birth had been without the use of his feet, never having had the power of walking.
徒14:9 他听保罗讲道；保罗注视他，见他有信心，可以治好，
徒14:9 This man was giving ear to the preaching of Paul, who, looking at him, and seeing that he had faith to be made well,
徒14:10 就大声说：“你起来，两脚站直！”他就跳起来，并且走起路来。
徒14:10 Said in a loud voice, Get up on your feet. And, jumping up, he went walking about.
徒14:11 众人看见保罗所作的事，就用吕高尼话大声说：“有神明成了人形，降到我们这里来了！”
徒14:11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they said in a loud voice, in the language of Lycaonia, The gods have come down to us in the form of men.
徒14:12 于是他们称巴拿巴为宙斯，称保罗为汉密士，因为保罗带头讲话。
徒14:12 And they gave the name of Jupiter to Barnabas, and to Paul that of Mercury, because he was the chief talker.
徒14:13 城门前宙斯庙的祭司，牵着几头公牛，拿着一些花圈来到门口，要同群众一起献祭。
徒14:13 And the priest of the image of Jupiter, which was before the town, took oxen and flowers to the doors of the town, and was about to make an offering with the people.
徒14:14 巴拿巴和保罗两个使徒听见了，就撕裂衣服，跳进群众中间，喊着说：
徒14:14 But when this came to the ears of the Apostles, Paul and Barnabas, they went running out among the people, parting their clothing, and crying out,
徒14:15 “各位，为什么这样作呢？我们也是人，性情和你们一样，我们传福音给你们，正是要你们远离这些虚妄的事，归向永活的 神，就是那创造天、地、海和其中万物的 神。
徒14:15 Good people, why are you doing these things? We are men with the same feelings as you, and we give you the good news so that you may be turned away from these foolish things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all things in them:
徒14:16 在从前的世代里，他容忍万国各行其道，
徒14:16 Who in the past let all nations go in the ways which seemed good to them.
徒14:17 然而却未尝不为自己留下明证，就如常常行善事，从天上降下雨来，常常赏赐丰年，使你们吃喝充足，满心欢乐。”
徒14:17 But he was not without witness, because he did good, and gave you rain from heaven and times of fruit, making your hearts full of food and joy.
徒14:18 两人说完了这些话，这才阻止群众，不向他们献祭。
徒14:18 And even with these words, it was hard for them to keep the people from making an offering to them.
徒14:19 但有些犹太人，从安提阿、以哥念来，挑唆群众，用石头打保罗，以为他死了，就拖到城外去。
徒14:19 But some Jews came to that place from Antioch and Iconium, and got control over the people; and after stoning Paul, they had him pulled out of the town, taking him for dead.
徒14:20 门徒正围着他的时候，他竟然站起来，走进城里去了。第二天，他跟巴拿巴一同到特庇去。
徒14:20 But when the disciples came round him, he got up and went into the town: and the day after he went away with Barnabas to Derbe.
徒14:21 他们在那城里传福音，使许多人作了门徒，然后回到路司得、以哥念、安提阿，
徒14:21 And having made a number of disciples through the preaching of the good news in that town, they went back to Lystra and Iconium and Antioch,
徒14:22 坚固门徒的心，劝他们恒守所信的道，又说：“我们进入 神的国，必须经历许多苦难。”
徒14:22 Making strong the souls of the disciples, saying to them that they were to keep the faith, and that we have to go through troubles of all sorts to come into the kingdom of God.
徒14:23 两人在各教会为他们指派了长老；禁食祈祷之后，就把他们交托给所信的主。
徒14:23 And when they had made selection of some to be rulers in every church, and had given themselves to prayer and kept themselves from food, they put them into the care of the Lord in whom they had faith.
徒14:24 两人经过彼西底，来到旁非利亚，
徒14:24 And they went through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia.
徒14:25 在别加讲道以后，就下到亚大利。
徒14:25 And, after preaching the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia;
徒14:26 从那里坐船往安提阿。从前众人就是在这地方，把他们交托在 神的恩典中，派他们去工作，现在他们已经完成了。
徒14:26 And from there they went by ship to Antioch, where they had been handed over to the grace of God for the work which they had not done.
徒14:27 他们到了那里，就召集了会众，报告 神跟他们一起所行的一切，并且他为外族人开了信道的门。
徒14:27 And when they came there, and had got the church together, they gave them an account of all the things which God had done through them, and how he had made open a door of faith to the Gentiles.
徒14:28 两人同门徒住了不少日子。
徒14:28 And they were with the disciples there for a long time.
