徒26:1 亚基帕对保罗说：“准你为自己申辩。”于是保罗伸手辩护说：
徒26:1 And Agrippa said to Paul, You may put your cause before us. Then Paul, stretching out his hand, made his answer, saying:
徒26:2 “亚基帕王啊，犹太人控告我的事，今天我可以在你面前辩护，实在是万幸；
徒26:2 In my opinion I am happy, King Agrippa, to be able to give my answer before you today to all these things which the Jews say against me:
徒26:3 特别是你熟悉犹太人的一切规例和争论，所以求你耐心听我申诉：
徒26:3 The more so, because you are expert in all questions to do with the Jews and their ways: so I make my request to you to give me a hearing to the end.
徒26:4 我从幼年到现在，在本国、在耶路撒冷为人怎样，犹太人都知道。
徒26:4 All the Jews have knowledge of my way of life from my early years, as it was from the start among my nation, and at Jerusalem;
徒26:5 如果他们肯作证的话，他们是早就知道，我是按着我们祖宗最严格的教派，过着法利赛人的生活。
徒26:5 And they are able to say, if they would give witness, that I was living as a Pharisee, in that division of our religion which is most regular in the keeping of the law.
徒26:6 现在我站着受审，是为了对 神向我们祖先的应许存着盼望。
徒26:6 And now I am here to be judged because of the hope given by God's word to our fathers;
徒26:7 我们十二支派昼夜切切地事奉 神，都是盼望这应许实现。王啊，我被犹太人控告，正是为了这个盼望。
徒26:7 For the effecting of which our twelve tribes have been working and waiting night and day with all their hearts. And in connection with this hope I am attacked by the Jews, O king!
徒26:8 神使死人复活，你们为什么认为是不可信的呢？
徒26:8 Why, in your opinion, is it outside belief for God to make the dead come to life again?
徒26:9 从前，我也认为应该多方敌对拿撒勒人耶稣的名。
徒26:9 For I, truly, was of the opinion that it was right for me to do a number of things against the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
徒26:10 后来就在耶路撒冷这样作了。我得到了众祭司长授权，把许多圣徒关在监里，并且他们被杀的时候，我也表示同意。
徒26:10 And this I did in Jerusalem: and numbers of the saints I put in prison, having had authority given to me from the chief priests, and when they were put to death, I gave my decision against them.
徒26:11 我在各会堂里多次用刑强迫他们说亵渎的话；我非常愤恨他们，甚至追到国外的城巿去迫害他们。
徒26:11 And I gave them punishment frequently, in all the Synagogues, forcing them to say things against God; and burning with passion against them, I went after them even into far-away towns.
徒26:12 “那时候，我得到祭司长的授权和准许，去大马士革。
徒26:12 Then, when I was journeying to Damascus with the authority and orders of the chief priests,
徒26:13 王啊，就在中午的时候，我在路上看见一道光，比太阳更明亮，从天上四面照着我和同行的人。
徒26:13 In the middle of the day, on the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining round me and those who were journeying with me.
徒26:14 我们都仆倒在地上，我听见有声音用希伯来话对我说：‘扫罗！扫罗！你为什么迫害我？你要踢刺是难的。’
徒26:14 And when we had all gone down on the earth, a voice came to me, saying in the Hebrew language, Saul, Saul, why are you attacking me so cruelly? It is hard for you to go against the impulse which is driving you.
徒26:15 我说：‘主啊，你是谁？’主说：‘我就是你所迫害的耶稣。
徒26:15 And I said, Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus, whom you are attacking.
徒26:16 你起来，站着，我向你显现，是要指派你为我工作。你要为你所见过的事，和我将要向你显明的事作见证。
徒26:16 But get up on your feet: for I have come to you for this purpose, to make you a servant and a witness of the things in which you have seen me, and of those in which you will see me;
徒26:17 我要救你脱离这人民和外族人，差遣你到他们那里去，
徒26:17 And I will keep you safe from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I send you,
徒26:18 开他们的眼睛，使他们从黑暗中归向光明，从撒但的权下归向 神，使他们的罪恶得到赦免，并且在那些因信我而成圣的人中同得基业。’
徒26:18 To make their eyes open, turning them from the dark to the light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may have forgiveness of sins and a heritage among those who are made holy by faith in me.
徒26:19 “亚基帕王啊，因此，我没有违背这从天上来的异象，
徒26:19 So, then, King Agrippa, I did not go against the vision from heaven;
徒26:20 先向大马士革、耶路撒冷、犹太全地的人宣讲，后向外族人宣讲，叫他们悔改，归向 神，行事与悔改的心相称。
徒26:20 But I went about, first to those in Damascus and Jerusalem, and through all the country of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, preaching a change of heart, so that they, being turned to God, might give, in their works, the fruits of a changed heart.
徒26:21 犹太人就是为了这缘故在殿里捉住我，想要杀我。
徒26:21 For this reason, the Jews took me in the Temple, and made an attempt to put me to death.
徒26:22 然而，我得到 神的帮助，直到今日还是站得稳，向尊卑老幼作见证，我所讲的都是众先知和摩西所论的将来必成的事，
徒26:22 And so, by God's help, I am here today, witnessing to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come about;
徒26:23 就是基督必须受难，并且从死人中首先复活，把光明的信息传报给这人民和外族人。”
徒26:23 That the Christ would go through pain, and being the first to come back from the dead, would give light to the people and to the Gentiles.
徒26:24 保罗申诉到这里，非斯都大声说：“保罗！你疯了；你的学问太大，使你疯了！”
徒26:24 And when he made his answer in these words, Festus said in a loud voice, Paul, you are off your head; your great learning has made you unbalanced.
徒26:25 保罗说：“非斯都大人，我没有疯，我说的都是真实的话，清醒的话。
徒26:25 Then Paul said, I am not off my head, most noble Festus, but my words are true and wise.
徒26:26 因为王知道这些事，所以我对王坦白直说。我确信这些事没有一件能瞒得过他，因为这不是在背地里作的。
徒26:26 For the king has knowledge of these things, to whom I am talking freely; being certain that all this is common knowledge to him; for it has not been done in secret.
徒26:27 亚基帕王啊，你信先知吗？我知道你是信的。”
徒26:27 King Agrippa, have you faith in the prophets? I am certain that you have.
徒26:28 亚基帕对保罗说：“你想用这样短短的时间就可以说服我作基督徒吗！”
徒26:28 And Agrippa said to Paul, A little more and you will be making me a Christian.
徒26:29 保罗说：“无论时间短也好，时间长也好，我向 神所求的，不单是你，而且是今天所有的听众，都能像我一样作基督徒，只是不要有这些锁炼。”
徒26:29 And Paul said, It is my prayer to God that, in little or great measure, not only you, but all those hearing me today might be even as I am, but for these chains.
徒26:30 亚基帕王、总督和百尼基，还有在座的人都站起来，
徒26:30 And the king and the ruler and Bernice and those who were seated with them got up;
徒26:31 退到一边，彼此谈论，说：“这个人并没有犯过什么该死该绑的罪。”
徒26:31 And when they had gone away they said to one another, This man has done nothing which might give cause for death or prison.
徒26:32 亚基帕对非斯都说：“这个人若没有向凯撒上诉，早就可以释放了。”
徒26:32 And Agrippa said to Festus, This man might have been made free, if he had not put his cause before Caesar.
