伯8:1 书亚人比勒达回答说：
伯8:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite made answer and said,
伯8:2 “这些话你要说到几时，你口中的言语像狂风到几时呢？
伯8:2 How long will you say these things, and how long will the words of your mouth be like a strong wind?
伯8:3 神怎会歪曲公平？全能者怎会屈枉公义？
伯8:3 Does God give wrong decisions? or is the Ruler of all not upright in his judging?
伯8:4 你的儿女若得罪了他，他就因他们的过犯撇弃他们。
伯8:4 If your children have done evil against him, then their punishment is from his hand.
伯8:5 你若殷勤寻求 神，向全能者恳求；
伯8:5 If you will make search for God with care, and put your request before the Ruler of all;
伯8:6 你若又洁净又正直，他就必为你奋起，复兴你公义的居所。
伯8:6 If you are clean and upright; then he will certainly be moved to take up your cause, and will make clear your righteousness by building up your house again.
伯8:7 你起初虽然微小，到后来必定非常兴旺。
伯8:7 And though your start was small, your end will be very great.
伯8:8 请你查问前几代，留意他们列祖所查究的。
伯8:8 Put the question now to the past generations, and give attention to what has been searched out by their fathers:
伯8:9 我们只是昨天才有的，所以一无所知；我们在世的日子不过是影儿。
伯8:9 (For we are but of yesterday, and have no knowledge, because our days on earth are gone like a shade:)
伯8:10 难道他们不指教你，从心里发出言语来吗？
伯8:10 Will they not give you teaching, and say words of wisdom to you?
伯8:11 蒲草没有泥，怎能生长？芦苇没有水，怎能长大呢？
伯8:11 Will the river-plant come up in its pride without wet earth? will the grass get tall without water?
伯8:12 尚青还没有割下来的时候，就比百草先枯槁。
伯8:12 When it is still green, without being cut down, it becomes dry and dead before any other plant.
伯8:13 忘记 神的，他们的末路也是这样；不敬虔的人，他的指望必成泡影。
伯8:13 So is the end of all who do not keep God in mind; and the hope of the evil-doer comes to nothing:
伯8:14 他所自恃的，必被折断；他所靠赖的，不过是蜘蛛网。
伯8:14 Whose support is cut off, and whose hope is no stronger than a spider's thread.
伯8:15 他倚靠自己的家，家却立不住，他抓紧自己的家，家却存不久。
伯8:15 He is looking to his family for support, but it is not there; he puts his hope in it, but it comes to nothing.
伯8:16 他在阳光之下，枝润叶青，它的嫩枝长满园子，
伯8:16 He is full of strength before the sun, and his branches go out over his garden.
伯8:17 它的根缠绕石堆，扎入石地之中。
伯8:17 His roots are twisted round the stones, forcing their way in between them.
伯8:18 他若从本处被拔除，那处就否认他，说：‘我没有见过你。’
伯8:18 If he is taken away from his place, then it will say, I have not seen you.
伯8:19 看哪，这就是他人生的乐趣，往后必有别的人从尘土中生出来。
伯8:19 Such is the joy of his way, and out of the dust another comes up to take his place.
伯8:20 看哪， 神必不离弃完全人，也不扶助行恶的人之手；
伯8:20 Truly, God will not give up him who is without sin, and will not take evil-doers by the hand.
伯8:21 他还要以欢笑充满你的口，以欢呼充满你的嘴。
伯8:21 The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.
伯8:22 恨你的都必以羞耻为衣，恶人的帐棚必归于无有。”
伯8:22 Your haters will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the sinner will not be seen again.
